I forcefully pushed myself off of my bed, lazily stepping on the cold cherry parquet floor and yawned. Just like last night, the elegant but mysterious invitation caught my attention once more, it rested ominously against the lamp on my bedside table. Ghosting my fingers swiftly over the shiny black ink lettering, I whispered, "Meeting commences every Friday... Sincerely... Der Märchenclub..."

My German skill was rusty enough to made think for a bit, eyes shut, searching for what the two words meant. I bit my bottom lip softly as my eyes fluttered back open, "The Fairy Tale Club?"

"This must be some kind of a childish joke." I scoffed and stood up, stretching before entering my oversized bathroom to get ready for the day.
