  1. In Telesity, one cannot listen to, record, or perform music without a license. Doing so will result in imprisonment and/or a fine of $1,000. (Just, you know, keep that in mind as you navigate Telesity.)
  2. Use whatever RP format you want. I will be using script.
  3. please use corReT CapitalIzation + punctuation
  4. Seriously, though. It's not that hard to type a period.
  5. No Mary Sues, Anti-Sues, or overpowerful OCs. I will call you out on that one if I need to. Just please, make your characters interesting and original.
  6. I'm pretty friendly. If you have a question or suggestion, PLEASE let me know! I appreciate any kind of feedback.
  7. When you apply for a character, just give me an example of how the character would react to being turned into a large Birkenstock sandal made entirely of marshmallows. :)
  8. And now, about the four main characters (discover the other characters by viewing the master list):
  • Static suffers from a mutation called Clarity, which enables her to perceive the emotions of those around her as phantom-like creatures. As a result, she is easily overwhelmed in social settings, and prefers to stay in her room whenever possible. As you may have guessed, Static is a resident patient at Special Dan's Asylum. Her best friend is Mentally Unstable Guy, who sleeps in the room next to her. Static feels at ease around M.U.G. because his emotions are typically very simple and straightforward. Her other best friend, and later love interest, is Juliet. Static can be very ignorant at times about social nuances, , and money, but she understands violence and love on a deeper level than anyone else. She spends her time making celery sculptures, writing poetry, and chatting with M.U.G. on their tin can phone. She is a very compliant patient. Static Eyes
  • Juliet is a high-strung, overachieving high school junior. She takes a volunteer job at SDA because it'll look good on college apps, but she ends up coming to care deeply about Static and a few of the other patients there. Static's innocence combined with her skewed wisdom prompt Juliet to look at her life in a different light, considering what really matters to her. Her mother, Helena, constantly pushes her to work harder in school and sports, but really Juliet feels numb (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylLpplWSrNk) most of the time. She hasn't yet decided what she wants to do in life. JulietJuliet and her friends Olive and Connie are among the most popular students at their high school. Juliet isn't fond of Connie, but she likes Olive, even though the two of them don't have a lot in common. Her boyfriend of six months, Brittany (yes, he is a BOY) has all but admitted to cheating on her with another boy, Timothy, but the two are still together.
  • Mentally Unstable Guy, or M.U.G., as he is often called, is Static's best friend and Special Dan's oldest patient. In fact, after discovering poor M.U.G. abandoned on the side of the road in a cheeseburger without cheese, Dan decided to raise him and those like him as sons and daughters. That's when he founded Special Dan's Asylum for the Supernaturally Insane! M.U.G. is (in his own way) friendly to everyone he encounters; thus, he has friends scattered all over Telesity. Emo, his closest friend, most passionate enemy, and the object of his romantic advances, often falls victim to M.U.G.'s antics, usually ending up dead. Of course, Emo is so attractive that Doom, the manager of Purgatory, bends the rules for him by allowing him to come back to life after M.U.G. kills him. M.U.G. never kills anyone else, and he only continues to kill Emo because he knows Emo'll come back. It's their weird little game. You Know It to Be True M.U.G. is also friends with Tina (although he insists on calling her "Jenny"), who works at his and Emo's favorite restaurant, and the Disaster Sisters, Eclipse, Alice, and Charlotte.
  • The two most important things in Emo's life are music and his 13-year-old sister, Gothie. (M.U.G. may or may not come third.) He's very careful about his illegal music use; therefore, he's never once been caught. Emo wants to share the joy that music brings him with Gothie, but he doesn't want to get her hooked on something that could get her in trouble.
