Rules

1. No more than two characters per person for the time being.
2. Do not bring out of character drama into the RP. It will not be tolerated.
3. No god-modding. If you don’t know what it means, it’s simply ordering/restricting another’s actions in RP.
4. Use { }, [ ], or ( ) for speaking out of character unless in the ooc room.
5. Say the name of your bias in your application to be accepted. No exceptions.
6. Unless you have already given notice of a hiatus, you will be given notice of inactivity after one week.
7. There are no rules on how much you post, but paragraph style is suggested.
8. Follow the application form when applying.
9. Vulgarity and are acceptable, just don’t make anyone uncomfortable.
10. Ask questions if you have any.

Androids are robotic beings of artificial intelligence created to be human-like. They are usually created to be companions or workers, but the ones that attend The Academy are ones that have been tossed aside by their owners. Androids don’t have many abilities, but excel at one or two things overall – such as cooking, cleaning, artistic talents, being musically inclined, etc. They are naturally much stronger than humans and don’t have nearly as many weaknesses as other races. They must charge on a regular basis and cannot be around too much water or sand because it affects their joints. The cyber blue and bright red colors that their eyes alternate between give them away. They are the race that is most abundant in attendance since the school was started for their benefit.

Many find the thought of vampires being able to walk in daylight to be only a myth, but it isn’t. Over the years, the race has adapted and is now able. They drink blood and must do so survive. The Academy offers those that stay a steady supply of blood received from the blood bank. Fire and dismemberment are the only ways to actually kill a vampire. Those that are only half-breeds are not affected by sliver like a pure breed is. Most of the vampires that find their way to The Academy tend to be delinquents of their own races laws and are sent for reeducation. They are inhumanly strong and fast. Humans and demons are their only known natural enemies. Their race is told apart by a faint blue crescent shape on the palm of their hand.

The Academy even accepts humans, although only a select few with each semester – with the belief that it will help the other races get practice and become more comfortable with interacting with humans. They have no special abilities and are the weakest of all the races that attend the school. There is no special sign that tells humans apart, which in turn gives away what they are.

At The Academy, the label of “shifters” includes were-creatures as well, much to their discontent. There is a strict rule on the campus against shifting/turning to make sure that no one uses the ability for the wrong reason. The difference between shifters and were-creatures, such as werewolves, werelions, etc., is that a shifter has the ability to turn into more than just one animal; in fact, they can turn into any animal that they please if their level of shifting is that high. Half-shifters cannot turn into more than one animal and are usually picked on because of it. Shifters and were-creatures have their heightened senses and abnormal strength in their human forms as well. Were-creatures have a symbol that resembles a four-point star on the back of their hands, at their wrists, that tell them apart; shifters have three marks that resemble claw marks in the same place.

Demons tend to be confused with dark angels, which offends both races. They are born as dark creatures and are very manipulative. They have ways of getting what they want and aren’t afraid to take it. They are the boldest of species that attend the school. The biggest difference between demons and dark angels is that the demons do not have the ability to fly. Their special powers can include fire manipulation, reality warping, teleportation, possession, and memory manipulation. Like vampires, they are usually sent for reeducation, but usually by an angel’s judgment, in order to teach them the proper way to behave and live amongst humans. They are told apart by their constantly red or violet eyes and the matching burn mark on their napes, in the shape of five-point star.

Angels are born of Godly descent and never misbehave. The ones that attend the school are guardian angels that must learn to live on earth with humans before they can be granted the title. Some of the angels that attend are secretly ones that cast a judgment on a demon and must watch over said demon to make sure they complete their sentencing. They are least abundant in attendance since most angels do not have the need to be at The Academy. Their abilities can include healing, light manipulation, astral projection, telepathy, and telekinesis. Their eyes usually give them away since they’re a constant light shade of gold. They are also told apart from their darker counterparts by golden swirls that start from behind their ears and reach down to their shoulders. Another difference between them and dark angels is that it doesn’t hurt for them to hide their wings.

This race is also known as fallen angels simply because they have fallen from grace, which is usually the doing of a demon having tricked them in one way or another. Even as a fallen angel, they still have their ability to fly, although their wings turn completely black and their wings do just as an angels, in the sense that they can hide them from sight whenever they please, although it’s extremely painful for them to spread them again; each time they reopen their wings into sight, they bleed since it stretches from their spine. Once they become dark angels, they pretty much become complete opposites of what they once were. Their abilities can include dreamwalking, astral trapping, mind control, shadow manipulation, and magnetic manipulation/electromagnetic pulses. They are told apart from their Godly counterparts by their darker golden eyes; the spirals that they had as angels are now blood red.
