For  the last several decades, the seven kingdoms have lived somewhat peacefully under the rule of the Baratheon House. The vicious massacre of the Targaryens that brought them to power has been all but forgotten by everyone, leaving the masters of dragons little more than myth and history. But when the death of King Robert brings to light foul play within the kingdom's walls and more than a few discrepencies over the rightful heir to the throne, it's every man for himself. Though there may be a greater battle building on the other side of The Wall, war breaks out as every man, woman and child fight to lay claim to the illustrious Iron Throne. When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.
