Myungsoo's path here was forged with pretty dark things. The most constant things in his path had to be violence and the "r word". Not to mention the flashbacks.
His drunkard of a father brought over women who prefered young Myungsoo A LOT more than his father. His father didn't protect him from the women. He, in fact beat him and blames him for the women 'finding' their way into Myungsoo's bed. He learned to get violent which got the women to stop touching him but made his father more violent.
In highschool he joined the gang. It took three months for any member to discover that he did more just beat people up. Girls and guys were not safe walking down dark alleys in Myungsoo's neighborhood. Concerned for his safety he decided to come here after handing hs entire gang over.
