Born in a rich family, Joohyuk's parents always try to spoil the kid with every normal kids would want, such as toys, clothes, and stuffs like that. In the other hand, Joohyuk doesn't muse the spoil his parents try to give him, feeling like he should grow up into an independent man so he wouldn't end up like his parents, too full of their wealth. He ended up growing up with a not so deep relationship with his family, he's more to be alone at home or hanging out with his friends. That's why he moved out from the mansion as soon as he finished school, taking up university for four years and got to turn on his job as a model. He bought a house for himself and even his parents haven't once step inside. He called it his own kind of privacy that is, since the more he grows up, his fondness to his parents is fading rather quickly. And now that he finally managed to live better on his own, he likes to use his freedom a lot.

He tends to do lots of things by himself, he won't ask for other's help as long as he can do things by his own, that's why people might see that he's a pretty closed person. But it's just the opposite for the truth. He really likes to socializes with people, although he doesn't like to stand out in the middle of public, really different from his daily job as a model. He's a cheeky laid back guy who particularly just be chill with everything as long as it doesn't go out from boundaries.
