[Before Changmin's Birth]: Shim Changmin was born by two forbidden lovers who could not see each other, and secretly eloped that resulted in his life and tragedy. His father was the potential heir to the Northeastern Pack and his mother was a daughter of the great hunter of Silver Wolf. Both figures were born in a high status amongst their own species. Just like Romeo and Juliet, they met up and secretly fall into the void of their own world. By the age of 18, Changmin's mother found out she was pregnant with Changmin's father. Unfortunately, the moment she found out she was pregnant, Changmin's father was forced into marriage by the head alpha's choice of an omega. On their last farewell was when they both planned to elope down South Pack (White Howl); however, they couldn't get very far.
According to Changmin's discovery, Changmin's father and mother got discovered by the head alpha's brothers (they were almost at the borderline of White Howl) who had their own pack. At their separation, Changmin's mother was on the urge of giving birth (in which case Changmin's existence to this world). They chase out Changmin's mother by forcing her to her death (falling into a cliff), while discarding Changmin's body somewhere who can take care of the "filth." Of course, Changmin's father did not allow that. He placed the remaining belongings of his mother to identify the child, and later retrieving his son back (after few days of punishments) back to the pack.

According to Changmin's stepmother, the only reason why she was giving her "precious" time for him (a piece of trash as she wuld identified him) was because she couldn't produce a heir for his father. She could only breed omega cubs, but the pack needed alpha. Naturally, Changmin was born as an alpha cub with a mixture of human blood inside his veins. Other than the fact he could control animals to his biddings, he looked and matured like one (he had no choice). At first, Changmin's stepmother treated him like her own (during his toddler age), but as he grew older the woman grew more bitter at the thought that her beloved alpha betrayed her for a low-life woman that slowly began to portray Changmin's face. Since his father is always busy with work, she practically abuses him to get her revenge. It gotten worse as he grew.
