wonwoo was adopted at a young age but if his parents didn't tell him and were open about it, he honestly wouldn't find out on his own. despite being both busy artists, they gave wonwoo enough love to grow into a problems free adult, or at least he thought so.
being an adult makes you think that you'll do pretty well in a lot of things that adulthood brings. but wonwoo didn't know he would never, no matter how much he has lived, be ready for grief.
to fall in love with your childhood best friend, to remain in love and to not have it all crash at college sounds like a romance book. you hear often about people looking for 'the one' and how lucky was wonwoo to have found his 'the one' so easily? he'd always joke around about how perfect it all seemed to be and now he regrets it, part of him sure that he has invited the tragedy in their lives.
it all happened too quickly, two years into college, one day waking up with their usual good morning kiss then they were already at the hospital. wonwoo wide awake, but his beloved wasn't. a silent tumor that only showed its face at its last stage. within a week, she's gone.
wonwoo found himself in a spiraling depression. he dropped out of college, moved back into his parents house, gave up on pretty much anything he had built so far. his love for aviation and games were long forgotten. for a while there everything reminded him of her.
days on of treatment slowly got him back onto his feet. wonwoo started small one year ago, opening his first live stream of this famous and anticipated horror game. by now he often has a plausible number of viewers but he keeps it as his favorite hobby now that he has managed to go back into aviation. it's a small starters online course but at least it's a new beginning.

despite everything, wonwoo has always managed to keep a kind heart, although he is very cautious around new people nowadays, he still tries to be friendly – thus the number of viwers he has.

he doesn't believe he can open his heart again, or more likely he doesn't feel like he's allowed or deserves to, thus reacts a little defensive whenever someone catches his attention.
