She never dreamed of being a healer and the thought of being a doctor never crossed her mind once when she was a child, but perhaps it truly always was her destiny to become a healer. If only her powers awakened when she really needed them.  

Her story starts during the elemental war, she was an only child and her family had to leave their small village to avoid the scuffles of the war. Sanctuary was granted in the next village and what should have been a safe journey turned into a nightmare. Ambushed in the night by bandits, her father and mother both lost their lives as they gave the chance for her to run away. She can recall that memory as if it was yesterday, the cold night that stung at her feet and hands, the scratches and cuts she got from running through the forest to evade and from any possible pursers.   

When morning came, she expected her parents to have come out and found her by now. Instead it was knights of the kingdom that found her. Heejung's parents were found dead at their campsite they set up last night. The pain from having lost her parents awakened her powers that day. A warm light emitting from her body as the injuries she got from running away began to heal, the only pain left unhealed was the great sorrow she felt in her chest. The knights assisted her to the village after that, having seen her healing magic they brought her to the local doctor who then began to take care of her until she was able to live on her own. The doctor helped guide her about her healing magic, the wonders of it, but to Heejung it was more like a curse. A reminder. That she could have saved her parents that night.
