Swaddled in raggedy cloth, tearing at the seams, was an infant of three months, carried by the whispers and storms brewing in Aerion. From one dilapidated village to another, he travelled with his itinerant mother after his father abandoned him and his mother. Like the rest of his life, it was shrouded in mystery. In the present, memories from this point only came in momentary flashes. Lighting nearly struck him as he was subject to the downpour of rain.

Even early on, the darkness followed him as if it was his familiar.

Instead of the castles towering over him, he ended up in the neglected slums of Aerion, bearing witness to the ashes of the active volcanoes from Pyrolith. As the small child grew into his limbs, he became free to exploit. Separated from his mother, San instead lived with a man who coerced him to beg on the streets. Instead of being greeted with a warm and welcoming embrace, he was met with puffs of smoke from a destitute man.

Outside of the village, he longed for an escape, as he looked in the direction of the Land of Autumn. On occasion, his gaze drifted to the docks and the sky meeting the sea, resisting the urge to hop on a boat to a land faraway from Astralis. Bruises littered all over his body, resembling engraved curses to ward off evil spirits, except for the man who put him through hell Eventually he had enough, pushed and exhausted at his wit’s end. Deep, hot anger coursed through his veins, then settled to an unnerving calm. His act of retaliation got rid of the smug smirk residing on the man’s lips, but also his entire self, as if he was consumed by the void. Horrified at the act he committed, he quickly fled from the scene as he foresaw being chased down by his goons.

On a wagon to Ashenvale, San cloaked himself in dark robes, pooling around his feet.  He exhaled a breath of relief as he was given a respite from his beggar days, despite the unknown circumstances regarding his excursion. Some wondered how he did not trip. But unlike typical mortals, he slid across the ground, nearly floating.

As he breached through the borders of the fiery kingdom, San, at the tender age of 10, was approached by an old decrepit man, who appeared to hold wisdom in his eyes. Taken under his tutelage, the young boy was bewildered at the fact that he was chosen, and not the children raised in dukedom. Exploring the kingdom, he revelled in the ashen scenery, and the expansive volcanos enlivened with embers borne of the dragon’s breath. 

Due to the old mage, who later introduced himself as Hwan Hyung, he discovered the darkness swarming within him. The eternal void seemed to stretch for miles and miles, but young San at the time barely held access to the empty territory. It greatly differed from the liquid fire residing within the nobility and royalty ruling Ashenvale. The past five years were a blur, as San has undergone training. He became well acquainted with various kinds of weaponry, in addition to training his body to be a lethal weapon as well. Overall, he honed his control over his magic and awareness for this new landscape. With no fire living within him, he made it up with his fiery temper. When push comes to shove, he will be the moon that eclipses the sun.

The time comes when San finally grew into the fully fledged adult, coupled with a relatively tall stature and well developed musculature, accompanied with sharp feline eyes. Departing from his mentor was far from an easy decision to make, as he stepped away from him with a heavy heart. Garnering copious amounts of wealth appealed to him, as someone proffered him a heavy sack filled with golden dubloons. The caveat was, it was in exchange of people's lives. Morally dubious, reprehensible to some extent, San hesitated in taking up the task at first. There were consequences in not only the potential upset and uproar in families from taking an offspring’s or sibling’s life, but also targeting those of prestige. But living in abject poverty must have misshapen his mind, as he fell into the allure of wealth and heightened status.

Living amongst the royals and political figures in power felt akin to living in an enclosed aquarium surrounded by piranhas. But unbeknowst to his target and his superiors and clients, he holds the power of others easily entrusting him with their lives. It is only a matter of time his agenda will be revealed, but San will do anything to cause delays to this moment.

ONE Read my profile before dming me if you have a plot in mind. I do not expect a dissertation, just a vague idea I can work with. It takes two to tango, and also to concoct an interesting plot!
TWO Please do not poke me for replies ever, as I do keep track of them. I will drop our plot with no warning if you do. If you cannot handle my sporadic ‘reply schedule’, then I’m simply not the person to roleplay with.
THREE I can handle and am even partial to rated M themes,I can even say I do not have many triggers. However I will not write out in public with you unless I am comfortable with you. If it is needed in a plot, we can simply have it fade to black or move it to a group PM.
FOUR I’m not one to be particular about writing genres, however I do favor scenarios that include the following: angst, drama, and suspense. Fluff is okay in small doses, but I will lose muse more easily with plots concentrated in this.
FIVE Not particular about writing word count/lengths. Just no one liners unless they pertain to event or time-sensitive group plots.
