Kris's father founded Evermore when he was young. And because of that, Kris was raised among the insane. However, his father was not kind to the patiens, did not seek to help them. He performed experiments and proceedures on the patients that messed them up past what was already wrong, sometimes killing them.

 

Once Kris's father passed and Kris inherited the place, he shut it down for a bit before reopening it after going to college to be a psychiatrist himself. He's dedicated to helping people, but one can't help wonder...

 

If he was raised among the screams of the insane, is he really sane himself? Not even Kris knows the answer to that.
