About Me.
Kim Jongin will always say that he's grateful for the life he's had. Born from an upper middle class family, he lived a comfortable lifestyle. His father was a judge and his mother was a doctor, almost like the typical basis for most upper middle class families. WIth their backgrounds and ideologies, they raised Jongin to be a good kid. He was the friendly type of guy who would got straight As and volunteered at different centers. Despite his good boy image, he was like other high school students. He liked to have some fun. Sometimes he would party and hang out with his friends. One of his best friends included Oh Sehun. The two of them were always as thick as theives.
He went through college with ease. He was a political science major and lived the typical college life. During this time, he continued his volunteer work. Originally he planned on going to law school, but changed his mind. He realized that he wanted to be in the field to stop crime. He wanted to give back to his community. Even though this news wasn't what his parents expected, they could only support him. However, they still wish that their little boy would become a prestigious lawyer.
After graduation, he decided to join the police force with Sehun. Together, they elevated pretty quickly. Jongin was one of the best in his class. However, it was one case that settled it all. One night when investigating a bank robbery case, Jongin and Sehun were at an abandoned warehouse. What started out as a chase, eventually ended in death. With everything happening so fast, Jongin shot the robber dead. Even though the partners solved the case and solidified them as top notch detectives for their skills, the guilt ate away at the young man. He knew that he got rid of one more crook, but killing the man? Was it necesary?
When Jongin isn't on duty, he likes going out and trying new things. He enjoys drinking and eating out especially because it's food. Nothing can go wrong with food. Sometimes though things can go overboard. It during those moments when he's drinking with those dark moments buried in his head. Luckily he can hide a thing or two. He's a pretty friendly guy, but when it comes to his work it can be the opposite. It's there that his temper can be seen. He wants to get the case done and find justice, but sometimes he can be a bit rough.

You were called in as a witness for one of Jongin's investigations regarding a violent attack. At first you were unresponsive and uncooperative with Sehun. What should have only lasted for a few minutes turned into a couple of hours. With time being limited, Jongin decided to kick out his partner from the room. From there on, he took over and was not going to handle you with kiddie gloves. Maybe he was going to use his boxing gloves that day. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to challenge these detectives.
I Need Someone to Save Me // Nicole // M or F
After the shooting incident, everyone thought Jongin was okay. They would all pat his back and say that what he did was a good job. Despite all of this praise, he still questioned himself. He felt guilty about the man he killed. He thought about what this man. Who was he? What was he like? These types of questions swarmed his head. He could only get rid of them with a drink. Luckily he had you around. You were one of the few people who knew about the guilt that ate at him. You tried to watch out for him whenever you could. You knew if that if you didn't, there was a good chance he would fall off his own sad cliff.
Why Did It Have to be You? // Hani // F
You thought you knew your brother. However, that changed after he was killed by an officer during a chase. It was from there you learned about the crimes he committed. You never learned who killed your brother. Despite the information you learned, you still loved and missed the guy. He was family. So whenever you were down, you always leaned on Jongin. He made you feel better. Sometimes you questioned if he always able to do so because he was hurting too. He never said why, but it was this sense of pain and comfort that always brought you two together. However, you never knew about why he was in pain. You never knew that he was the one who killed your brother.
Teenage Dream // Free // F
Jongin's work can take a toll on him. Even though he tries his best to put a smile on his face, his mind can be clouded. However, he has those moments with you. Sometimes he'll stop by your place with a bag of popcorn and some drinks, only because he wants to hang out with you. Certain nights you'll stay inside with him. On most occasions, he wants to escape and pretend that there are no worries in the world. He only wants to fool around a bit that leaves the both of you in fantasy. A fantasy that he wishes never ends.

During one of the many cases under his belt, Jongin had to go undercover. He was supposed to play another role for some information. What he didn't expect was to go so deep into this personality. He wasn't meant to get too attached to this case.

Being a detective doesn't exactly make it easy for Jongin to juggle a committed relationship. However, he gets to enjoy the best benefits of one with you. Sometimes you'll call him. Sometimes he'll call you. On other occassions you both decide just to go for it. Why the hell not? With arrangment, at least no one has to deal with the burdens of a relationship.

A few weeks ago, you were attacked by an unknown assailant. Once Jongin arrived at the scene, he was there for you with his trusting and protecting attitude. He gave you his business card in case you needed anyone to talk to. However, you've been calling him constantly for every single problem. At first he didn't mind. Now though, it's getting quite bothersome. He's not sure how to tell you gently to give him some space.

During one of those rare moments, Jongin actually allowed his friends to take him to a party. You both spotted each other at the bar and were attracted to each other. Naturally, you both introduced yourselves to one another. Wanting to escape from his life and work, he decided to do something different tonight. After learning each other's names, Jongin asked if you wanted to join him on his mini journey for the night. All you needed to do is be a completely different person for one night.He would do the same. From there, the two of you would start your adventure.

Jongin's parents always set him up with various girls. Despite knowing now is not the right time to date, he goes to these meetings out of respect to his parents.

After the shooting incident, Jongin tries his best to put on a show. That happy face to prove that he's oaky to everyone. However, when he's around you he shows a different side. He drinks and reveals his confused sad self. However, he also becomes tempted during these times. When around you, he eyes those drugs you have. To him, your goods might help him take the pain away. Despite this, in the back of his mind, he tells himself to have some control. He can't completely lose himself yet.
