About Me.
Kiriko was born in the Azuchi-Momoyama period in Japan, the Warring States period. She was the daughter of a highly important and respected politician within her small community. This community was just under halfway up the side of a mountain, isolated from practically every other town around. However, this proved to be a good thing as it kept them out of most conflicts as others continued to fight.
Her father often left the town on important trips, leaving her alone as her mother had died due to an unexplainable sickness when Kiriko was only 6-years-old. Even though her father was often gone for long amounts of time, Kiriko knew he was only doing what he was told, and waited for him patiently. She would often clean the house and water their small garden during the mild summer months, in winter staying inside and painting the snowy world she saw outside the small window.
It was during the warm and bright months of the summer season that Kiriko ended up catching the eye of another important figure within her town. This man was infatuated by her, watching her as she worked outside and always keeping his attention on her when she was around. Kiriko didn't personally know this man, only knowing that he was a very important person.
Even so, she wasn't really looking for anyone at the time although she was already 16-years-old. Luckily, even though her father had a high social standing, he was very considerate, and didn't force her to marry anyone.
Problems started to arise in Kiriko's life the moment that man had set his eyes on her though, for his admirer (secretly a witch within the village) was jealous of her. She believed that Kiriko had stolen that man away from her, and out of spite, led Kiriko out of the village on the eve of her 18th birthday. They went up the mountain, and close to the top, the witch cursed Kiriko.
"When you find your true love, you will slowly die until you're gone forever. Now you will know the pain of losing the one you love to another! Die unloved and alone!"
That day, the witch had changed Kiriko's life. She not only cursed the young girl, but after leaving her on the mountain, went back down to the village and murdered Kiriko's father.
When Kiriko had awoken, the sun was shining down on her. She felt no different than she had before the curse, but knew it was real, for how else could she had survived up in the coldness of the mountains (even though it was summer)? Quickly, she tried to return to the village, only to find out her father had died in the night, leaving her completely orphaned. The man that had once looked at her with love now despised her, which was just the way the witch wanted it. Of course Kiriko still didn't really pay attention to him, as she never had interest in him before, but it hurt all the same since he would curse at her and put her down whenever they walked passed each other.
Eventually, Kiriko ran away from her home town. With nowhere to go, she wandered and wandered. For years it's all she's ever done.
With the curse still in effect, she's been through so many eras. Changed her appearance so many times. Her personality has developed into something much bigger than one would expect from someone who only looks 18.
It's the 21st century and now Kiriko works as a foster home helper in the very foster home she lives in, as the nice man who runs it had taken her in after finding her alone on the streets. She now goes under the name of Kyary although it's not a common name, just because she likes the way it sounds, and it helps her forget about her long and complicated past for moments at a time.
Even though she's been through a lot. Kyary is a caring, kind and considerate person. She has very few friends though, because most people view her as very weird. New technology always fascinates her, and she finds joy in the smallest things (such as a field of flowers or an ice cream cone). Adventurous, sometimes she does things that are a little dangerous (hanging off ledges, sitting on the windowsills of the 8th floor of a building, swimming in the ocean during winter, etc.) but she's just so very curious.
As society's views have changed, she's found herself to be panual, able to love any kind of person. Her dress style changes from day to day as well. One day she could be wearing a modern version of old Japanese outfits, the next in an English inspired Victorian dress, and then onto Harajuku pop clothes. It just depends on how she feels that day.
Being a collection of many different time periods in one, Kyary has to hide what she knows or perhaps she'll be taken by the government and tested on, and she doesn't want that. If she says something weird around you, most likely to due with the past, she will cover it up quickly and smile.

Kyary is crazy weird in your opinion. You're a cold-hearted, rude, sometimes even sadistic person and yet, you can't bring yourself to hurt her. This person who calls you a friend even though you tell her you're not and never will be. It makes your heart melt a little. You care for her although you'll never admit it, and she knows that but she doesn't mind. She just likes to see you smile and wants to make you happy.

In the 1880s, you were Kyary's past lover of sorts. Although she knows you aren't supposed to be her true love (or else she'd be dead) you both were happy together. Then you died and she lived on alone, until now that is. Both you and her don't know it yet, but you're the reincarnation of her past lover. After meeting, you start to glimpse fleeting memories of a love once lost. What do you do with them when you find out they're real, and not just weird dreams?

You're always visiting the foster home in which Kyary works to hang out with the kids, never really noticing her until one day a kid gets hurt and she rushes to patch them up. In the small nurse's office, you two start talking as she puts the bandages on the boy's knee and you decide you want to get to know her better. After the kid is all fixed up, you ask her to join you for a trip to the cafe, not knowing you've started perhaps one of the best friendships you'll ever have.

When walking through the hallway of your apartment, you catch sight of something in the window at the end. Coming closer you realize that there's a girl sitting there. Immediately you think she might jump when she leans out farther and quickly wrap your arms around her to pull the girl back in. After the event, you realize she wasn't going to actually do anything. "I was just sitting on the windowsill" she says, and all you can do is nod although you're still freaking out because why does a girl sit on the windowsill of the 16th floor?

However, she ends up failing as the police take her away kicking and screaming. Kyary isn't without injury though. She's bleeding out and she doesn't have much longer to live. Luckily you, a random stranger, has experience in treating injuries and tries to help her while another person calls an ambulance. Can you keep her awake long enough to get real help, or is the knife in her stomach going to prove too much for her to handle?

You and Kyary can't understand each other. Neither of you speak the same language. However, wanting to talk anyways, you tried to communicate differently. You two have created your own sort of sign language in order to talk, and no one else knows how to use it. It's just a secret between the two of you. It's how you understand each other for now, while you both try to learn one another's languages in order to finally use your voices. Will you ever reach the magical moment when you actually get to hear her voice and she can listen to your's since you've only ever spoken through your hands this entire time?

The moment you two make contact, her heart stutters, and it's not in that lovey-dovey way at first. Her heart literally stutters. She can feel it. Something in her veins is making her sick day by day after meeting you. Only after a month does she realize...she's dying. She's dying because you are her true love. However, you haven't seen each other since that first meeting, and even if you do meet again she doesn't know how to make you love her. Perhaps she'll just accept her fate instead. She doesn't want to infringe on your life. To her, just being friends would be enough although she'd still be dying. Can you figure out her predicament quick enough, before she breathes her last breath?
