Godfrey will never be proud of his past, the mess he made with the family he originated from. Though he can't deny the joy he finds from being on his own, there is always a heightened sense of happiness being around other. People that actually smile back when he flashes them one of the rare smiles that dons his lips. From a young age, he was filled with energy, possibly too much - he avoided other wolves like they were the plague, finding the company in beds of humans, no regrets towards countless nights of writhing bodies and chaste kisses. He was able to enjoy it until he turned twenty two, when his father snapped. And Godfrey left without a heartbeat, emotions on his sleeve as he spent his time hopping from hotel to hotel, working to keep himself functioning, living life on the streets. He picked up a now innate habit of wearing whatever he could to mask the scent of his alpah genes, hating the way people hid themselves in the shadows because of what he was. He just wanted to be normal.
At first he was obdurate, to stubborn to join Taecyeon's pack but oddly enough, it wasn't the main alpah that persuaded him. He found the willpower to sort his life out, disappearing completely from his Chinese hometown, leaving his past behind and hidden behind the stoic mask he places on his features. Even with his habit of covering his scent, he's still intimidating and domineering, the way an alpha is supposed to be. He's strong, his voice a dark baritone and when made, you might just catch the red flicker in his usually chocolate brown eyes. You might never be lucky to see such a rare sight. If there's something you wish to hear or see Godfrey do, ask him to read poetry to you, ask him to take his guitar from its musty case and let him show you the colours of the world, let him tell you his countless adventures until you dip off into a dreamless sleep, spread out on a blanket infront of a roaring fire. It's the simple things that matter.
