the terrible storm of 2025 would be an event that changed the lives of hundreds in country of Kinjo, unknown to the rest of the world.
the media reported it like thy would have any other thunder storm in the summer. it was nothing major, just the weather cycle going on the way it should. no one thought much of the incident, except the many that were affected by the storm. the days following the storm were quiet and mostly uneventful, until a few citizens began noticing something different about themselves.
powers. they had super powers. day by day, more and more people came to learn of their magnificent abilities. a select few people, now known as the guardians, quickly gathered as many of the mutated residents as they could and thought up a plan of action. telling the rest of the world about the recent developments was out of the question; they had no guarantee that they would be accepted and praised instead of being located and killed.
so they built up their own world to live in, to separate themselves from the normals of Kinjo. in the south, the mutated beings settled and created a town all their own, and the guardians named it Hinansho. Here, these mutated souls would continue to try and live the bulk of their lives normally, despite their abnormal abilities, while they tried to figure out what exactly turned them into these super-beings.
