The Great Calamity has happened. Ganon has won and taken over Hyrule Castle. The Hylian Champion, Link, was put to sleep so that he might wake up 100 years later and save the land from the peril that it shall inevitably face under the hands of Calamity Ganon. Between the time of Link being put to sleep, and the time that he wakes up 100 years later, life in Hyrule must go on. You are a person living during the 100 year slumber of the Hylian Champion, and you must do what you can to keep what little civilization is left safe until Link returns to reverse what has been done.

rules

1) Read these rules completely before filling out the application. There is a lot of information in here that will ensure that you fill out the application correctly.

2) Favorite the RP.

3) If you do not fill out the application correctly, you will not be accepted.

4) No ooc drama.

5) This is an action-based rp, so no powerplaying.

6) All races, ethnicities, and orientations are allowed.

7) Third POV only.

8) We will have main story plots on this RP. You are expected to participate in them. You must participate in at least 1 out of every 3 main story plots.

9) Side quests are available for your own plots, but they are not mandatory.

10) You can have as many characters as you want, but you have to be active with each one for a week before we will allow you to apply for another.

Races

When filling out this application, you are required to choose a LoZ: BotW race to be. The available races are: Hylian, Sheikah, Goron, Zora, Gerudo, and Rito. Below, you will find information on each race.

1) Zora, Goron, and Sheikah are all long-lived races. If you decide to be one of these three, please age your character accordingly. 100 years would be about equal to 18-20 years, so a 22 year old faceclaim would be more than 100 years old in these races. (There is no formula, so just make up a reasonable number.) If your character is not one of these races, you may age them normally.
2) If you decide to be a person of the Sheikah race, you have the option to be a member of the Yiga Clan. If you decide to do so, just put "Yiga Clan member" in the occupation part of your application.
3) If you decide to be a Zora, you have the option to choose your skin color. You may be either red, blue, or black. To decide, fill out your application like this: "Race: Zora (black)"
4) Gorons are probably a genderless reace, but use terms like 'brother' and he/him pronouns when referring to each other. Because of this, we will only be allowing male characters as Gorons.
5) We will only be allowing 1 male Gerudo to every 10 female Gerudo. At the start, we will allow 1, but there should be 20 females before we allow another male.
6) If your character is a Rito, then you may choose to be a species of any bird of flight (so no flightless birds). This is optional. Fill out your application like this: "Race: Rito (hawk)"
7) Hylians are basically humans, so there's nothing special about them.

Places of Residence

In the game, there aren't many races living outside of their original places of residence, so we prefer that most people choose for their characters to reside where their race is originally from. These are as follows:

1) Zoras - Zora's Domain
2) Gerudos - Gerudo Town (female only) or Kara Kara Bazaar (Male/Female)
3) Gorons - Goron City
4) Sheikah - Kakariko Village
5) Rito - Rito Village
6) Hylians - Hateno Village, Lurelin Village, Mabe Village, Tabantha Village
