Food Court

@Lay Waiting patiently until the transaction was complete, Kai then gingerly returned his phone to his back pocket; nodding warmly at the other's response. "I'll give you a call later, but just tell me if you're busy or doing homework or something like that- and we can reschedule. Anyway, I'll see you around, buddy." With that, the younger bowed politely in return, chuckling as the other quickly exited the cafeteria. Lay was a pleasant acquaintance, and Kai especially looked forward to their imminent dance session. Once greeting a plethora of his friends, the male, having nothing else to do began to head to his next class as well.

Lay got up for a moment to through the trash then went back to the other taking the phone from him then dialed his phone number and called it to make sure he got Kai's number as well "it is my pleasure meeting you as well Kai" he bowed his head again with a smile before he glanced at the time "I never thought time would pass so fast like this... It means I really enjoyed my time with you.... I guess I will have to go now.... I will wait for a call from you when you want us to dance together okay" Lay stood up and bowed once again before he rushed out of the hall heading to see something related to his schedule.

@Lay "Well, I sure hope you're right.", he replies with a small smile, in agreement with the wise words. With only two bites of lunch remaining, Kai finishes off the plate, rising to toss the trash into the nearby garbage bin while Lay continues to eat his own meal. Taking a seat beside the other again, Kai nods compliantly, checking his watch and gasping softly at how quickly the minutes have passed. "Of course, I'll be sure to let you know. There's nothing scheduled for this evening, so perhaps we can meet in the courtyard or whatever. I'll get your number so we can decide later." Whipping out his phone, the young man unlocks it and hands it to Lay so that he can insert his contact information. "It was really nice too meet you, by the way.", Kai adds after a moment with a sincere expression.

@Twin~Kai Lay watched Kai's every change in emotions and just chuckled "it is okay though.... Being excited about what you love is something great because it is rare to have a pure passion about something" he nodded more as he continued eating his noodles until he was done answer the plate was empty. "so I'm kinda free since I'm still New and I don't take many courses as well. Just tell me when you have free time" he stated the bowed with a smile when he thanked Kai for helping him around.

@Lay The brunette nodded his head vigorously at the other's comments, finding it somewhat relieving to find someone who actually has the talent to create their own routines instead of simply being hell-bent on learning a dance made by someone else. But a split second later, Kai's grin transformed into a thin line when the other told him to not be so excited. "How dare you tell me to-", he began sternly, but his pretend act of annoyed only lasted for a second before he burst into laughter. "You're right, sorry. You probably can't even understand what I'm saying right now. I'll slow down." And so Kai did, now speaking at a normal pace again as he continues eating and conversing with Lay. "Yeah, it's a great idea. My public speaking professor always tells us to "exchange cultures" and stuff, but this would be a great way to actually do it. I'm looking forward to it- that is, when you're ready." Taking another bite of fried rice, Jongin's natural thoughtful expression turned slightly apologetic at the Chinese boy's answer. "I'm sorry I asked- I shouldn't have. I hope that they can come to visit you soon... Or maybe that you can see them over winter break." Kai tried to raise the other's spirits by encouraging him with hopes of the break in between the two terms.

@Twin~Kai Lay chuckled a little seeing the other speaking excitedly and his face was about to turn blue "I love freeystyle like each time with same song you can different dances.... But please calm down I don't want to cause any deaths on my first day here" Yixing chuckled more as he finally finished his plate with a wide smile. "it is going to be great.... I'm not really a perfect dancer but it will be nice if we can dance together" he admitted with a shy smile. For some reason Lay always felt shy talking about dancing or even showing his dancing to anyone but still it is quite interesting to have someone that understands him. Thinking about the other's question Lay had a sad look for a while before he smiled again "it was difficult and a lot had happened before I could come but this was the best for me.... About my patents .... Mom still keeps calling me every while to make sure I'm fine... But I will get used to it"

@Lay It wasn't usually like Kai to be so engrossed into a conversation like this, but he found himself absorbing every word that the Chinese boy spoke. It was just simply interesting to exchange words like this, and for once, he actually found himself enjoying the usually unproductive lunch break. "I'm glad you like it.", he smiles warmly. "All in all, I guess I do too..." As soon as Lay had asked him about his hobbies, the brunette had rambled so fast that he had nearly forgotten to breathe while conversing about his favorite topic. There just existed something so magical about dancing; it was a sensation that just couldn't be expressed in words, but you would have to experience it yourself to understand. The young man's eyes widened a bit in surprise once the other male had confessed his own liking for the activity. "Are you serious? Freestyle is the best way to go by far- It's the best form by any means. The only reason I've started up the dance program was for my PE Teacher who begged for my help getting the kids involved. But anyway, if you're alright with showing me some moves sometime, I would love it." Kai's bright grin only seemed to intensify as their conversation prolonged, and the boy felt happy to find a like-minded person, even all the way from China. "It must have been hard to come here, right? It's a lot to adapt to and everything... Don't you miss your family?", Kai curiously submitted question after question to the poor student, propping his elbow on the table and promptly resting his head in his palm, awaiting a response.

@Twin~Kai Lay smiled more as he continued eating and chuckled at the other a little. "The school here seem really amazing actually... it is much better than my previous school and this is really great so far." Lay listened to the other talking about himself and watched how his eyes sparkled while talking about dancing and it seemed like he was really passionated about dancing. "Well, I like dancing too but I'm more like a fan of free dancing I don't like following few steps and just be it.... I also play the piano and the guitar. Reading sometimes is kinda fun when I find something interesting... about China... it is pretty good but I got bored of it a little so I decided to come here"

@Lay Finding himself quickly growing used to the other's absentminded nature, Kai chuckled softly at Lay's beaming smile. "It's really not a problem, there's no need for an apology. I do that a lot too.", rationalized the brunette, taking a bite of fried rice from his chopsticks, then humming in approval at the pleasant taste. "Not bad for school food, right?", he questions, taking in another mouthful. "Alright.", Kai nods as he swallows, happy to inform the other student. "Well, regarding the school, I suppose it's nice enough. The teachers are just like teachers anywhere, but they're surprisingly pretty helpful. As for the the other guys here, I think you'll make friends really fast. All in all, it's a pretty small campus; but sometimes I think that's for the best. As for me, well I really really /really/ enjoy dancing. Don't let me bore you to death about it, but I'm the leader of the dance program here, and you're welcome to join that- but only of you're interested, of course.", the younger grins toothily as he quickly corrects himself. "Other than that, I like to watch movies or play sports... So what about you, Lay? What's life in China like? And what do you like to do?"

@Twin~Kai Lay blinked his eyes few times trying to stay in real world for some long time as he followed the younger to where he went. Smiling widely as he sat at the table his meal right in front of him. "I really thank you for helping me and sorry I just spaced out for a while earlier and actually I don't even remember what I was thinking about." Yixing explained himself with a blank expression. After another bow and thanks Lay started eating and his smile got wider at the taste since he was a little worried about it. "so .... Tell me Kai a little about the place here and what you do around" Lay wanted to know more about where he is and how things works.

@Lay *Deciding

Kai watched the other male who seemed to be entirely in his own little world again curiously for a moment before hearing a small beep notify him that someone had sent a text. After successfully answering it and also getting Lay's food to him, the foreign student still seemed to be heavily dazed. It was rather endearing in a way, and though this too made Kai curious, he said nothing about it. Waiting for the older to follow him, he took a seat at a lunch table, patting the spot beside him in welcome.

@Twin~Kai Yixing was amazed by the sudden childish laugh that came out of the other's lips. It was amazing because the look the other had was kinda far away of being childish plus it was pretty to see such laugh around. Seeing how Kai reacting Lay understood him and well, not everyone knew that dimples are kind of sickness. Again Lay spaced out in thoughts about the day he knew about his dimples and how he heated them when he was young but now he loves them because they made him unique in his mind. Lay was brought back to reality just to meet the plate with noodles and chicken in his hands. Lay bowed his head in thanks.

@Lay A rare, rather boyish round of laughter exited Jongin's lips as the other's dimples only deepened further. Though the young man was known for his cool, laid-back demeanor, it was nevertheless usual for him to turn childlike when something intrigued him- like Lay's dimples. "Oh?", questioned Kai, having not known about the science of the indentations. "As long as everything functions properly though, it's not technically a 'problem' though, right?" Half-grinning, the brunette nodded thoughtfully. "It's settled, then. I'll show you around the city starting Saturday." At the other's confession, Kai chuckled knowingly, having had a rather difficult time dividing himself. "Some noodles and barbequed chicken, please.", he ordered for the Chinese boy, retrieving the plate when it was finished and handing it to his new acquaintance.

@Twin~Kai Lay smiled seeing the there's expression and his dimples went even deeper as the other touched them. "well they are rare because it is kind of sickness... I don't know exactly but I heard it is a problem with the muscles of the face" Lay smiled shyly and nodded excitedly "it is not about paying money... I just need someone that know the place very well" Lay glanced at the food and pouted "would you recommend me something?... I don't know what exactly to eat." he asked feeling his cheeks burning of embarrassment.

@Kyungsoo *eats and starts slurping the beef down*

@Lay "Well thank you", said the younger, eyes folding up into two-half moons. Rather sheepish himself, Kai stole two quick glances left and right to make sure no one was watching them before softly brushing his index finger across the new boy's facial indentations. "It most certainly is special.", he shook his head in denial. "It's a rare trait." Still flashing the other a slightly shy grin, the younger hummed in agreement. "Mhmm, of course! Why pay for a guide to show you old, boring sites when yours truly can take you for free and you can actually enjoy yourself." Chuckling, Kai elbowed Lay's arm gently. "Hey, you're not going to eat? We only have twenty-three minutes left.", he informed, glancing briefly at his watch. "Come eat with me."

@Twin~Kai Lay laughed at the other's comoment and nodded in agreement. "it is a pretty nickname though" Yixing was a little surprised by the sudden question and blushed a little before he nodded in"sure... It is not something special anyway" he leaned closer to give the other the chance to touch his dimples. His eyes sparkled with excitement hearing the other's offer "really? Can you be my guide? This would be really great.... I was going to look for someone to help me around the city"

@Lay Nodding, the male grinned in confirmation. "Yep! I'm the king of this University- didn't anyone tell you?" Kai laughs quickly after to signal that his comment wasn't meant to be taken seriously. "It's a childhood nickname that just stuck-" When noticing Lay's deep-set dimples and naturally charming smile, Kai trailed off in the middle of his sentence, adopting a childish facial expression. "Can... Can I touch your dimples?", he inquires curiously and albeit slightly shy. Chuckling, the brunette nods in acknowledgement. "Well if you ever need a guide, I'm free on Tuesdays and weekends." The younger smiles kindly to the foreigner as he collects his plate of food on the counter, forseeing a quick friendship established with Yixing in the near future.

@Twin~Kai Lay tilted his head with a smile as the other introduced himself "Kai?? Means king, right?" he chuckled softly hearing the other trying to greet him in Chinese then his smile went even deeper making his dimples visible on his cheeks when he heard the other speaking slowly to him. Whither a nod he replied "Thank you.... I only saw the way from the airport to the university so I still haven't seen everything in Korea.... But I guess I like it so far"

@Lay An amused grin spread across Kai's face at the other's action, seeing the foreign student's attention was occupied somewhere else. "Oh really? That's cool! Ni hao and nice to meet you, Lay. And I'm Jongin, but please call me Kai." Ni hao, the Mandarin word for "hello" was all Kai knew, though at this moment he wished he had put effort into learning more Chinese so it wouldn't be difficult to the second male. "Welcome to Korea... Do you like it here?", the boy questions, making sure his words are slow and clear so that the Chinese student can better understand.

@Twin~Kai Lay already started spacing out while looking at the food with some kind of dreamy eyes and didn't even notice the other looking at him until he heard the question and snapped out of his thoughts then. "huh?! ... Oh... Yeah I'm new here... I just arrived today.... I'm from China" once again Lay bowed his head "my name is Yixing but please call me Lay" he said with a lower tone as he turned again to the food not really sure whither he will get used to it or not.

@Lay While deciding what food to have during the half-hour lunch break, Kai saw a figure approach beside him; causing the boy to turn his head curiously. Meeting the other's bow with a smile and small bow of his own, the brunette warmly greeted the stranger. As he looked closer, the other clearly wasn't of Korean descent. "Hey, are you new here?", Kai asked gently, finally pointing at the grilled chicken and fried rice to the cafeteria worker before turning back to the other male.

@Twin~Kai Lay was walking around the new place still not used to the directions he found himself in the cafeteria. He debated whither to go in or stay out feared to look like a complete stranger and wired to the others. Taking a deep breath he decided to try the food here and maybe find someone to talk to. Slowly he took his few first steps to the food counter where he found a boy standing there and it seemed like he hasn't decided what to eat yet. Lay bowed politely to the person standing behind the counter and then bowed to the student next to him without any words and looked at the food not really sure what to pick.

@Lay Kai's dark chocolate eyes scan the cafeteria, skeptical about how the food may taste. The teenager pads to the corner of the court, quietly observing a handful of nearby students carry on in conversation while nonchalantly munching on an assortment of items. No one appears to be gagging, which is certainly a good enough sign for the brunette. With a few slow steps, he nears the food counter, stopping short in order to decide what he wants.
