{♕}Inner Courtyard

@Ailee Kai kept on walking around as there was nothing to do so he wasn't in a rush or anything like that so Kai was just enjoying himself. Kai was looking around as he was walking wondering where he should off for now seeing how he had all the time in the world to kill to himself as Kai just smiled to himself. Kai was enjoying being out and enjoying the weather more than anything else in the world so Kai wanted to enjoy it to the fullest without any distractions or disruptions of his duties of being the Imperial Prince or by the Imperial Guards either.
Kai had made it to the Inner Courtyard as he remembered that this was where the concubines were designated to live. Kai really didn't have anything of the sort since he really wasn't interested in those kind of things just yet and his brother really didn't care about what Kai's decision on the matter for the time being. Kai looked around wondering if all the concubines were out or in their rooms as Kai was looking around the Inner Courtyard as this was the first time that he had been in this area. Kai kept on walking as he didn't see anyone at the moment but then again, maybe all of them were out doing whatever they needed to do. Kai really wasn't sure about it as he just shrugged and continued to walk around the Inner Courtyard as it seemed like to be a good place to hide from the Imperial Guards and the staff of the palace since noone would think to look for him around here.

After awhile, Ailee had fallen asleep. Though she had more than enough hours in a day to do so, there was just something about the sun that made her feel tired. Though it was deemed unladylike to sleep in the open, she couldn't help herself, falling into an abyss of darkness. She wasn't really one to dream, not like there wasn't anything in her subconscious, but rather the fact that her mind was truly blank. She would literally leave all of her thoughts in her conscious, locking it away from her subconscious so there wasn't any dreams to really worry about. She didn't really know how she was able to do such a thing, but it was a blessing in disguise.

When she had awaken, a massive headache came upon her. She let out a small groan, now making a mental note to never sleep in the sun again. Rubbing her eyes a little, she blinked numerous times, trying to take in all the light that was on her. She rested her head between her hands, hoping that the pain inside of her head would soon go away. She had gotten up, though a bit dizzy, and started to walk back into her room. That was until she heard another pair of footsteps. She stood still; there wasn't really anyone out there at such an hour, unless some children playing, but the footsteps were heavier than a child's by far and a little slower, as though they were only walking and not rushing anywhere. She knew it wasn't the emperor because he would most likely have his advisers and guards surround him. This somehow brought relief to her, not needing to worry about being questioned about her whereabouts; it would be embarrassing to admit she was sleeping in the sun. Ailee nevertheless straightened her clothes and fixed her hair, wanting to look presentable in case the footsteps were coming her way.

@Ailee [king? did you mean emperor?]

Kai was taking a nap in his room like he always had done whenever he had nothing to do and then after Kai had woken up, he sat up while yawning and stretching before looking around. Kai stood up as he fixed his attire and appearance before stepping out of his room while looking around the hallway around his room to see that there weren't anyone. Kai was wondering what was going on as he stepped out of his room and then started to walk around the palace while looking around to see if there is something that he could do or if he could find someone to talk to. Kai walked around the palace while yawning as he really didn't care about what was going on with the palace since so far it was something that his brother, the emperor, had to deal with it and he just around to watch.

Kai looked at the weather from inside of the palace as it seemed nice so he decided that he wanted to spend some time outside of the palace to enjoy the nice weather. Kai jumped out of the window that he was looking outside from as he landed onto the ground and then Kai dusted himself off before looking around to see if there were any Imperial Guards. Kai had a tendency of escaping from the Imperial Palace and head out of the palace while looking around to avoid any of the Imperial Guards since they would nag him about how it is unsafe for the Imperial Prince to wander around unattended to protect himself but Kai really didn't care. Kai knew how to defend himself and he knew that he was stronger than some of the Imperial Guards so he should be fine wandering around the town by himself.

@Kai It was just another day in the palace, at least for Ailee. There was drama concerning the Imperial family, as always, but somehow she was able to just ignore it. If she was honest, it didn't really concern her, or she was just taught that. She worried about the Imperial family, since she did serve them, or the king specifically. As a concubine, she didn't need to worry about anything, accept pleasing the king. If she screwed that up then she would be dead. If she were to speak honestly, she would rather be a scholar, but she knew that it was forbidden for a woman to be of such status, though she couldn't help but still have that dream in a distant part of her mind.

Since it was a nice day outside, she decided it would be best to take a walk and look at the nature around her. Somehow, looking at nature soothed her, it made her feel at peace. Maybe it was because there really wasn't a way for trees and flowers to disturb anyone. One thing she would usually do would be sitting outside, closing her eyes and take in the silence. She would allow herself to imagine how it would be like to be in another world, one where she was free to be whoever she wanted without any worries, a place with no drama, even being able to love anyone who she wanted to. Ailee knew that if she ever even made an assumption of her desires she would be severely punished for suspicion of treason. Sighing softly, she quietly kept on looking t the beauty around her, feeling a bit bored and alone.

@❣| Maid Boa Glancing at the female Suzy asked in response,"Which one are you interested in?" Taking a strand of her hair and twirling it around her finger. Hearing the other's reply, she was slightly curious as to why her parents wouldnt like to see her rather her siblings were. "Why not your parents?" she asked. Suzy thought every family would want to see their loved ones again once they were gone for so long. Nodding her head at the female's suggestion,"I suppose so." she mumbled before flicking her hair back gently. Grabbing the sword on her table, Suzy strapped it to her waist and opened the door to see if anyone was outside. Seeing how no one was roaming through her quarters, Suzy motioned for the other to come closer. "You can climb right?" she asked, pointing to the wall that could lead to their escape.

@❣| Maid Boa Suzy nodded along with the girls words, slowly understanding its meaning, Suzy had always met the same people within the Palace but she didn't think there would be anyone who would love her as she loved him. Hearing the other's question, she slightly faltered before thinking,"I'm pretty sure I'm interested in males, I find them attractive." she nodded before smiling to herself. Seeing the other in the commoner's clothes, she couldnt help but admire her beauty, it seemed as if she was born to fit any clothing. Even in the Imperial Palace's maid uniform, it just shined how beautiful she was but with commoner's clothing, it just expresses her natural beauty. "Shall we visit your family?" she asked the other. Suzy was born as a lowly mistresses daughter but she had no memory of ever living in a commoner's house, she wanted to see how it looked like and their daily lives.

@❣| Maid Boa It was the first time she had came across such a "weird" person. She had to admit though that this girl had some sense, she was practically better than her lady in waiting who just nagged at her everyday. "Ah I see, one day I'll be married too, do you think it would be someone I love?" She asked. Feeling the robes loose feeling on her, she twirled a bit to see herself. Hearing the others question she nodded her head and flicked her hand a bit as to say 'Go Ahead'. Suzy was fascinated by how such a simple clothing still made her look quite astonishing.

@❣| Maid Boa Suzy was shocked by the others word, her lips hanging agape. 'Why would anyone be happy here...' she thought to herself not understanding what is so good to be a lowly maid in such a hell. Without anymore words to say, Suzy turned back around, Boa's words floating around in her mind. It was the first time she has ever been so shocked that no words came out afterwards. As the other helped her into her wardrobe, Suzy took slight glances here and there. "So you don't plan on any marriage?" She asked curiously.

@Boa Hearing the others response Suzy couldn't help but gape at her, shocked by her response. She would ask many the same questions, many answered that their goal was to be concubine and that was why she was in the palace. The more she was with this maid, the more she was intrigued by her, not only was she not aiming for a title her honesty baffles her. "I see...then why are you here? Working in the Palace is like suffering?" She questioned. Knowing full well how each and every person who dies in this palace died a sad life. Handing the clothes to the other,"Help me put this on..."

@Boa Sensing the others pondering actions, Suzy turnt to the elder and smiled kindly perhaps too kindly. "Don't tell anyone or else..." she warned ever so normally as if she did this all the time. Suzy had always wanted to roam free like the commoners out there but it wasn't so bad being stuck as princess since she could do anything without getting in trouble. Sitting down in front of the mirror, Suzy watched as the others nimble hands gently took out all the accessories. She could feel a whole ton off he head and it finally felt so free. "Leaving it down is fine." She spoke in a soft tone. "Wondering about something, are you trying to become a concubine?" She asked bluntly before tilting her head back to look at the girl, finding how beautiful she actually was.

@Boa Suzy mouthed the girl's name before nodding her head, opening the closet, she opened one of the locked chest. Thinking to herself why the girl's name was Boa, was it to signify something or was it just pure coincidence. Grabbing two clothing out from it, she tossed two piece of clothing behind her for Boa to catch. "Wear that." she said before grabbing another set of clothing of similar style. "This is what commoner's wear right?" she asked while locking up the chest and stepping out from the closet and closing the door. "Help me take these out, they're too flashy." she stated while pointing to her head full of pins and accessories.

@Boa The younger nodded her head slowly, she glanced around to see the many soldiers standing on guard. The last thing she wanted was one of those ratting her out and getting her in trouble with His Majesty. Hearing the older's words, Suzy knew that she was able to leave the palace today. "I'm fine with that...." Looking at her clothes, she never once thought it was that beautiful solely on the reason that she never got to choose what she wore. Walking back to her chamber, Suzy told all the guards to leave so she may have some privacy with her maid. "I'm curious about something....what was your name again?" she asked suddenly realizing that she had forgotten her name and found it slightly rude to be calling someone "maid maid"

@Boa Suzy couldn't help but glance back at the young maid as she walked slight steps apart from her. There are always wannabe Queen's in the imperial palace, but this young maid seems fine with her lowly rank. She was curious as to what her real intentions were. Was it just pure innocence or was it something far darker and deeper. Looking up at the sky once hearing the other's question, she slightly nodded her head before replying,"It's quite nice...." Turning towards the other female, Suzy motioned for her to come closer before whispering in her ear,"Sneak me out of the palace, I want to go outside to the markets." she stated before pulling away and smiling innocently. Suzy in all honesty took advantage of her lady in waiting being absent and a lowly maid whos unable to reject what she wants.
