Wufan smiled when Yixing giggled. He loved Yixing even more like this because a happy Yixing made a happy Wufan too not to mention he was so adorably squishy right now too. "Okay baby lets go~ I wanna carry Xing all the way there too~"

He bursts into a fit of giggles when he's lifted against gravity by his boyfriend, and he squeals happily when he's spun around. He's reminded off when his family wasn't so busy, and papa used to play with him like this. He wraps his arms around Wufan's neck, pursing his lips. "Let's go to the city square and look at the pretty lights."

Wufan actually smiled for the first time in ages and picked up the younger in happiness, "God, finally I was waiting for you to ask that~ Like you have to add please for me to agree Yixing!" He chuckled and twirled him around before rested his forehead against the younger's chin, "Where do you want to go baby?"

He squeezed Wufan in the hug, and then let go, tangling their fingers together. "You must be tired from working so hard though. Let's skip out on work." he suggested, a playful twinkle in his eyes. "Let's go on a date instead. Please?" It was so unlike Yixing to actually skip work, but the brunette couldn't help it. It was almost Christmas.

Wufan felt his chest get wet and realised his boyfriend was crying but hearing him laugh and hearing his words did made him think he was okay, even for just a while. He held him more closely and kissedhis head, "I missed you too Xing, more than you'll ever know..."

Yixing let himself be pulled into Wufan's embrace, and it was only then that he realized the tears that were pricking at him eyes. No, his story wasn't that sad. He shouldn't be crying like this. He buried his face into his boyfriend's chest, and inhaled the scent of the older man. He laughed softly, shaking his head. No, he was better, but it wasn't good enough for society. However, maybe it was good enough for Wufan. Just for Wufan. And he would be okay with just that. "I missed you, Fan... I really did."

@Yixing Wufan listened intently as Yixing finally told him his story, he didn't say a word until the younger finished speaking. But even after he had finished Wufan was speechless, he didn't know what to say to that, it definitely was unexpected but... It didn't make him love him any less, it didn't make him want to leave him instead it did the opposite. Wufan hugged him close while caressing his head, "But baby you're better much better than what you were saying from before..."

Yixing took a breath, and all the inhaled air escaped him in a small laugh when Wufan hugged him. He nuzzled against the blonde, his heart suddenly so relieved that Wufan wouldn't break up with him for something like that. He's known his boyfriend for a long time now. He was trustworthy, they both knew that. But, it was only Yixing who knew that his objection wasn't the only reason that he denied the Zhang inheritance. He told Wufan a story. A story of a child who only knew the four walls of his room, maybe six, if you were kind enough to count the ceiling and the floor. He told him about the child who wasn't able to leave the house, in fear that he would be kidnapped, because he was the child of a rich family. And he told him about the slow degrading of that young boy's mentality. He expanded on how when the boy was finally exposed to the world, he didn't understand anything beyond the walls of his room; how he fell terrified, and hence mentally unstable; shunned by society, because he wasn't what they called "normal". He didn't talk about the boy's amazement to fire, but that wasn't necessary. He told Wufan his story, for the first time.

@Yixing Mentally unstable? Wufan still didn't understand whatthe hell was going on but he felt his chest hurt a little with Yixing's next words. He looked at him with soft eyes since Yixing sounded like a child right now, "Break up? You know I would never Xing... But you need to tell me from the start so I can understand... Please I just want to know..." He pulled Yixing into a hug making sure to kiss and nuzzle his hair. "Make me understand all of this..."

No. No, he didn't understand. Yixing wasn't normal. It's been drilled into his head that he wasn't normal. Yixing shook his head at his boyfriend. "No, Wufan, I'm not normal," he looked at the blonde, "But I'm getting there…" He tilted his head to the side, peering at Wufan curiously. "Wufan. To the world, I'm mentally unstable," he said, quietly. His additional statement was child-like. "But… you won't break up with me for that, right, Fan? Right?"

@Yixing If Wufan was concerned before he was confused now. His hands slowly trailed down to the younger's shoulders before he stared at Yixing, "I... Don't understand... You are normal Xing, just what..?" He trailed off in his sentence unable to comprehend just what the hell was going on.

Wufan sounded worried. Even more worried than he had originally sounded when they actually spoke to one another (initially). Yixing's head was locked in place by his boyfriend's hand, and he slowly dropped his swirling sense of vanity. He didn't need it around Wufan, not really. He'd rather his greed steal Wufan's attention. But this wasn't for the sake of attention. "Wufan." He said, blinking. "Society says I'm not normal … but he said…" Yixing bit his lower lip, not knowing how to continue. It was the result of the Caged Bird Syndrome that he was subject to. He wasn't mentally stable.

@Yixing Wufan watched him for a bit before looking even more concerned after the younger's reply, despite Yixing looking so happy. He cupped his cheeks and stared at him withsoft eyes, "Better..? What do you mean better?" Was Yixing sick with something? Was that something the thing he hid away from that night? All sorts of questions plagued his mind but more importantly who was /he/? If Wufan heard it any another day he might have taken it out of context with his mind swarming with jealousy but right now he was focused.

It seemed so easy in his head ("Wufan, the world doesn't see me as a normal person, but my psychiatrist said I'm getting better," he could easily say that), but it was something so big. Something that he kept hidden away, despite their relationship. It wasn't something to be proud of. He trusted Wufan not to turn his back on him, but he was insecure, nonetheless. He took a deep breath, and looked up at his boyfriend. "Fan... he said I'm getting better." he managed to say. "Isn't that great?" he added, eyes glimmering in happiness. There was a reason he was gone for a while. The appointments have been getting more frequent; he wanted to push to be socially acceptable - if only for Wu Yifan.

Wufan let the younger hug him, he heard the words and listened intently before gazing at him as Yixing traced his jawline. He placed his hand ontop of the younger's, "Xing..." He looked concerned wondering if Yixing was okay well given the circumstances that is. "... What happened?" He knew it was something else because Yixing had hidden it away that night on the terrance but Wufan wanted to know it now, /needed/ to know because it was something that made Wufan feel like he was brushed aside by the only one who held his heart.

His eyes glassed over as Wufan spoke to him, and he almost trembled in the grasp of the older. "I'm sorry," he whispered softly, not daring to raise his voice any louder. "I did want to see you, I just... was really busy, and I'm sorry." he's mumbled, and he helplessly hugs his boyfriend, nuzzling into the older man's chest. 'He said I'm getting better'. He wanted to say it aloud, but he didn't. Wufan didn't know. "I hurt you," he utters softly, his voice breaking quietly. Yixing glanced up at his boyfriend, a hand tracing Wufan's jawline lightly. "I'm sorry."

Wufan heard the change in tone and looked over to the other only to see Yixing look down at the floor.He seemed so small now. Okay maybe he took it a little too far but honestly what the younger did to him, it wasn't like Wufan was just going to let it go. "Xing..." He sighed softly, "... You didn't give me any explanation, I just thought..." He looked to the side, "You didn't want it anymore, didn't want /us/ anymore... You don't understand how I felt." He walked back to Yixing and grasped his chin, "The one I wanted to see, didn't want to see me anymore, the one I wanted to hear, didn't want to speak to me anymore... Just, what do you think that did to me Xing..? Tell me..."

Wufan sounded tired. His words were almost effortless in sound, and Yixing felt as if everything was crashing down on him. That tone was what Yixing related to giving up, because that was how his father had sounded when he fought for his own freedom. But what did Wufan give up on? Him? Yixing felt himself shattering slowly. He promised he wouldn't quit. He promised that he wouldn't walk away; physically and emotionally. But what was his boyfriend doing? He /promised/. In a small voice, almost child-like, he stared at the floor, "You don't have to finish all of that if you're tired…"

Wufan didn't know what he felt. If Yixing had asked him that a couple of weeks ago he would probably have answered yes but right now, it felt like nothing, empty? He shrugged the question off instead and continued to shuffle around the papers, "I'm not mad Xing, just busy with all of this crap and I'm just tired okay?" His answer even sounded tired as if he had given up already. "If you don't need me to do anything boss..." He stepped away from his boyfriend, "I'll better get back to work..." He took the pile of meaningless papers wanting to get away from the younger. Such a contradiction the one he wanted to see so badly was the one he wanted to run away from the most.

A pout found its way onto Yixing's lips when Wufan merely pat his hands, and pulled away from his embrace. The greeting was much too nonchalant for his liking. And Yixing was a little bit spoiled. He made a quiet whining sound when his boyfriend busied himself with paperwork. He draped his arms over his boyfriend's shoulders, pressing a soft kiss to the older man's cheek. "Baby, are you mad at me? Don't be mad at me…"

Just when he thought it was another normal day, something came to distort it that somehing being his boyfriend. Wufan had often thought about how he would react if Yixing came back to him just like this but he couldn't come up with an answer. He merely patted the younger's hands and broke away from the hug, "Hey Xing..." He greeted nonchalantly before brushing him off and pretending to busy with paperwork that he had done a million times over to keep himself occupied with.

Yixing really did feel bad for leaving Wufan that one day a few weeks ago. But things busied him, and despite really liking Wufan's company, he really needed to get things done. And he was ecstatic to hear his psychiatrist telling him that his mentality was slowly becoming stable again. The brunette peeked into his boyfriend’s room, hair flopping into his eyes. He approached the blonde, and hugged him from behind. “Wufan!” The blonde had every right to me mad at him for neglecting his presence for the past few weeks, but Yixing flashed him a blinding smile, eyes twinkling. “Hi, babe. I missed you!”

Wufan didn't know what he was doing anymore, everyday just felt like the same. There was nothing new in his life, nothing to keep his mind off the one thing he swore he would never forget. But he kept seeing him everywhere, remembering every little thing he went through. Damn was it hard but he'd try and push through for another day.
