@Bae Suzy [M] (( arrogant dae is cute haha XD ))

Daehyun wasn't sure what was going through her mind but what he knew was that he wouldn't like it. Not one bit. His lips formed a thin line, eyes trained on her as if he was inspecting a different species. "Well, different things affect different people so I'm not surprised," he deadpanned, shrugging his shoulders at the statement. Crazy rarely affected anyone, it was barely an insult in fact. He knew that no one would react to such a word, maybe laugh it off and what not but that was it. He could sense the sarcasm in her voice but he didn't want to point it out or reply back with just as much because, he didn't need to waste his words on such trivial things. He grimaced at the words 'playboy' and he hoped he wasn't because humans were just disgusting creatures. Of course, saying that when he was previously human was discouraging but he couldn't help but think so. Humans were filled with greed, lust, sins, lies, but wasn't he the same? People in all disgusted him with their fake smiles and painful words that were meant to hurt others. "Well, I hope my attractiveness wears off soon," he mused. He only used his looks to manipulate people into getting what he wanted, but that was as far as it went.

"Well, whatever you want. As long as it's not hard or expensive," he nodded, already wearing basketball shorts and a sweater as he didn't like the stuffy uniforms. He followed her towards the ball rack, stuffing his hands into the pockets connected to his sweater, waiting for the game to start.

@Jung Daehyun [U] ( yes. so cuuuute lololol )

Suzy couldn't possibly name a list of things that wasn't cute about Daehyun. Although she would never actually name the features-- she didn't want to feed his ego in any way, she couldn't help but note what she did find attractive in the guy. It probably went unknown for him, but she knew for a fact that everyone else in the school found the same things cute. The way he scrunched up his nose or the way he puffed out his cheeks. Each action exhibited a certain emotion that he had felt, and she urged herself to think twice before ruffling his hair into a mess. Of course, she would never but Daehyun... that Daehyun was just eliciting so much nostalgia and she hated him for that exact reason. Memories from the past were meant to be in the past. Coming in now and into the future was just all too freaky. "Ah, crazy? If only that word affected me as much as the word cute affected you. The wonders we would see." Suzy gave him a lopsided grin to prove that she was somewhat entertained and sarcastic at the same time. "Ooh, that's true. Unintentional charmer. Maybe in your past life you were a playboy. I wouldn't be surprised," she huffed, eyeing him. The looks of him were that of a chick magnet. She meant no harm in her words, however.

"And if I win, what do I get?" she asked, hopeful that he a good wager in mind. She stood up and slipped into comfortable shorts that were suitable for playing sports. Along with him, she stretched each and every bit of her body. Better safe than sorry. She glanced over at the ball rack at the end of the soccer field and told herself that she wouldn't get into any trouble for a little match. Her Monitor status granted her endless possibilities, but the wrong move would threaten her life.

@Bae Suzy [M] (( LMAO YOU ACTUALLY LOVE IT? and it's okay ouo ))

His eyes widened in disbelief as a smile made its way onto her lips. Truly insane, he told himself. This girl was absolutely out of her mind and there was nothing that could help. His nose scrunched in distaste as she called him cute, he most definitely was not! Despite his slightly chubby face, he liked to believe that his somewhat define facial features and the amount of muscle in his biceps made him manly enough. He was opposite of cute, ferocious. His eyes rolled, not anyone can be adorable. Maybe his standards were high but that wasn't the point. "I'm not cute, crazy woman," he retorted, eyes narrowing slightly at her. Endearing? He almost wanted to laugh, he was nowhere near endearing. She should really get her head checked, he thought to himself, lips slightly pursed out in thought. "I may be a charmer but I don't try. I don't want to be a charmer, that's the difference," he pointed out. Sure, when he was human he wanted the women to swoon over him and was the reason why he even started to work out. He gave up soon after, he can't even kiss someone without their soul out and that was the last thing he wanted to do.

Soccer was a bit tiring for him, after all he was a lazy who didn't like to do unnecessary things. And exercising was one of them. Not that he mind singing, he just didn't want to share his voice with just anyone. The only remaining passion that he had left, he wouldn't let anyone taint his thoughts on it. "Hmm, alright. I'll take you up on that. First one to ten wins," he repeated, as if asking whether the rule was official or not. He stood up, stretching his legs slightly though he didn't need to. At least better make himself look human, and if there was a case where he actually stretched a muscle in his legs, he wanted to avoid that as much as possible.

@Jung Daehyun [U] Suzy let a meager smile slip onto her face. Insane. Would insanity even begin to describe her mentality? Though, she did not find it reasonable that Daehyun called her insane for mere name-calling. "You're cute. Everyone's cute in some way. Maybe for you... it's just hidden, deep down. I do think you're referring to cute as adorable? Most likely," she resounded, looking into his blank eyes. "Quite endearing. Mystical and mysterious." Her eyes traced the outline of his face, highlighting each and every single contour. "You surely must be a charmer. Manly and vicious? Is that what you said?" She soon nodded her head, agreeing with the terms he used to describe himself. With the two names Suzy supplied him, she hoped that it would do something. However, it didn't seem like he would budge anytime soon. He didn't look like he was interested in anything. Was it possible that some Undead completely lost their memory? Or did Daehyun choose to block everything out? Suzy's insides rose when she heard him say her real name. It sounded so familiar and foreign at the same time. Maybe she should just let it go.

Suzy knew for a fact that soccer or some other male-driven game would catch his attention. If she had offered to go and sing or dance, she was almost positive that Daehyun would scoff at her for even producing such a terrible idea. It was hard enough to talk to him. Entertaining him was just the beginning. She mentally cursed herself for choosing soccer instead of American football, a sport that made adrenaline rush throughout her entire body. Soccer was the best choice, it had seemed. Daehyun's eyes became different and unusual, life almost zooming back into it. Was it just a figment of her imagination? With a blink of an eye, it was gone. "First one to score ten? Or is that a little much for an Undead like you?" As if. If anyone was going to be panting and wheezing, it would be her. Teasing him made him talk more, and that's exactly what she wanted.

( i loVE IT. AND IM SORRY )

@Bae Suzy [M] Her voice finally caught his attention, well her sentence did actually. He reminded her of someone? Funny because she didn't seem like anyone he knew from the past. Then again, his past was hazy and it was something he didn't like to revisit for some reason. There was only certain points in his life that he could remember, and those only contained either only himself or his family. Nothing else. He never remembered his friends, who he assumed were those strangers who always said hi to him on the streets, though he never responded because he thought maybe they were creepy stalkers. He listened to her story, eyebrows furrowed in slight confusion. He felt defensive over the small boy for some particular reason, how can she say something like that? "You're insane," he huffed, eyes rolling as his voice stayed monotonous. "You never call a manly boy cute. And if you're indirectly stating that I did something adorable, you're horribly mistaken. I'm not cute, I'm, well, manly and vicious," he blinked, eyes narrowed slightly. Where did all his vocabulary go? He seemed so childish with his choice of words, at least that's what he felt. He stared at her when she told him her real name. Sooji? Why did she call herself Suzy then? Sure, they both sounded a like but with accents these days, Suzy would still be pronounced as Sooji. The world confused him sometimes. "Okay?" he mumbled, his voice laced in a confused tone. Why would she give him the option to choose what to call her? It wasn't like they'd ever talk to each other again... right? He clearly hoped so, she didn't seem like those crazy teenage girls that screamed and chased him down the halls with banners. They only did that once in a while but it scared the crap out of him. "Sooji then," he hummed, lips pursed out. Suzy would probably be easier to remember since he wasn't great at speaking English and he probably wouldn't be able to call her nickname correctly either way.

A sigh escaped his lips. He could probably beat her without any effort, to say his athletic ability had rose significantly was still an understatement. Heck, if anyone saw him play, they would recruit him into the official team. All Undeads were like that, attractive and athletic, basically the perfect boyfriend anyone could ask for. Sure, he didn't know the rules but he was always a quick learner. Yes, his skills had deteriorated over time but that doesn't mean that he's totally bad at it. "I see," was his only answer, still confused as to why a girl would want to play something most of their gender despised. She seemed to be confident in her skills, which meant that she was probably very good at the sport that she had suggested. At the mention of the reward of the bet, his eyes sparkled. Yes, he can make her buy cheesecake for him. With the delectable, and may he add, free treat weighing down on him, he finally gave in. "Fine, a match of soccer then." Soccer was one of his favorite sports, he used to be the captain of the team in middle school. He was confident to say the least, though there was a small part of his mind nagging at him, saying that he couldn't be as great as before but he ignored it. He was going to make this quick, so he can have his cheesecake in his hands, devouring the sweet. Yes, he can already taste the victory.

( oKAY HOLY CRAP. HERE I GO )

It would be a lie if Suzy said she weren't observant. After all, being a Monitor required a good attention-span and eyes that would be able to differentiate dead and alive from miles away. Then again, it would be her skin doing that and not her eyes. Her eyes were used for testing her reflexes. Each move could be accounted as deadly if not defended correctly. Now, it would be a lie to say that she didn't see Daehyun puff out his cheeks in the most adorable way possible... or maybe it was adorable since it was coming from the most bland person she had ever met and she wasn't going to let it go. "You remind me of someone." She motioned to her own cheeks that were probably pink from the air. "I caught that, and I know you wish I didn't. I used to know someone when I was younger. He did it whenever he was annoyed or bored or simply sad. I about it, and only he knows how much I loved seeing him get pissed off at me. He used to tell me that he was manly and that manly boys never did cute things. I told him that he was both, and it was true." Suzy wasn't sure why she told him, but at the moment... for a few seconds.. she felt like herself again. She felt like she didn't have to be uptight with the world. Daehyun's eyes were just like her friend's without the youthful glistening, and it was enough to make her insides smile with delight. "Other people call me by my real name.. Sooji. It's honestly up to you. I don't mind." The spark in her sort of fused down into a low hum, deflated at the fact that he wasn't the Daehyun she knew.

She continued to watch him as if she were fascinated by each and every move. It seemed like a part of him wanted to do it, but his right of mind told him that he shouldn't. Suzy couldn't read him. It was to difficult and tedious since he was Undead. "Playing sports makes me feel like I don't have to care about anything. Not only is it a good way to pass time, but it takes away all my responsibilities." That was true, but there was no way she was going to win. She was probably one of the worst soccer players out there, the effort getting her an A. "If you ever beat me," she said teasingly, "I'll treat you to anything you want. You can go drag me along to whatever you like to do for fun."

@Bae Suzy [M] (( i should do the same as well XD ))

He stared at the sky, finding that nothing at all could catch his interest. Usually, he would be staring at the grass, watching how bugs slowly crawled their way through the maze of green blaze, legs brushing against the dark dirt. It wasn't the most interesting thing in the world, but at least it made him forget about time, forget about everything. But now that he was stuck in the top bleachers, thanks to a very rude girl who had wanted to claim her spot yet followed him all the way up here instead, he couldn't stare at the species. He puffed out his cheek, slightly annoyed before deflating them. Hopefully, she didn't see that. People tend to think that he was adorable when he was upset, stubborn, and that was the last impression he wanted to leave on someone. If anything, he wanted to be handsome, alluring but someone not easy to approach. His eyes drifted to the clouds, watching how they slowly shifted into different shapes. He shrugged his shoulder, sure learning their heartbeats didn't mean anything. The most it could do was cure curiosity. He listened and he couldn't help but feel like everything she said sounded like short rant, as if she was scolding him for doing something wrong. He heard her repeating his name, taking his eyes away and averting them to hear, tilting his head. Why did she sound so different when she said his name. Eyes furrowed, he brushed off the thoughts. What did he know about feelings? He had none anymore. "Hmm, I see," he muttered, showing no interest. As his humanity left him, so did his memories. He could barely recall anything, especially those of his childhood. Though he never knew why, he didn't question it.

His eyes narrowed at her suggestion, why of all things sports? Not that he wasn't fond of it, he just didn't find his passion there anymore. Not anymore, that realization was a slap to his face. His eyes remained blank, staring at her skeptically as if he was silently asking why. Right now, all he wanted to do was just cuddle in blankets and eat his favorite dessert, cheesecake. Actually, the thought of the treat made his mouth water. Though he didn't have to eat, he did anyways. Not only was stuffing his mouth something that grew into a hobby, he was being serious, it made him look like a normal person. At the next words, he quirked an eyebrow. "Lose to a girl? Do I get something in return if I beat you?" he asked, continuing to bore his eyes into her.

@Jung Daehyun [U] ( LOL I SHOULD XDD)

If Suzy didn't have such a tough exterior, then she would definitely be bawling her eyes out due to the other's reactions. He was obviously uninterested by what she had to say. Thinking of a witty reply, the other would have a harsh one to return. It just made things so complicated, yet so alluringly amazing to maintain such a conversation with someone. Usually, people would too much of a coward to do something back and they would leave. Then again, Suzy knew she was up against an Undead. So emotionless. So free from hurt. "As if learning about your heartbeats would actually benefit us in any way," she said sneeringly. "Besides... gathering information would be especially difficult due to some unwilling Undead that would rather someone senseless than be questioned. However, that is some. Not all." She didn't want to indirectly offend him by generalizing all Undead under one category. After all, he had proven that he was the sore thumb out of the bunch. When he spoke, his breath traveled around her and embraced every inch of her skin, sending a chill down her spine. If that wasn't enough to make her go insane, then there was surely something that did. Finding out his name. "Jung Daehyun," she repeated out loud, swallowing a lump that had formed in . She was a bit skeptical hearing the name. But she did have to remind herself that were probably a few dozen people with the same name. She couldn't be too sure that this was the person she had learned to love when she was a mere child. "Bae Suzy," she nodded, saying her name as well.

Suzy in her cheeks and tried to think of something that amuse Daehyun. If he were the same person as the one that used to be in her life, then it would be much easier to bring up suggestions. He seemed like the type that did something daring. Something that would have adrenaline pumping throughout his entire body. "We can always go swimming. Play soccer?" The weather didn't matter to her. She was used to everything. Monitor training was life-threatening. "Unless you don't wanna lose to a girl. Then it's okay."

@Bae Suzy [M] (( lmao it's okay then XD keep your feels to yourself owo ))

A yawn eventually escaped his lips, his eyes squinting slightly as he did so. Boy, was he tired. Of course, mentally as he could never be physically drained. Though tears did not threatened to overflow his eyes, he could feel it slightly moisten. Damn, he had to admit that he was quite tired. It had been a long day, like how it's always been and he was absolutely exhausted. And he hated it, always having to feel drained of power and liveliness everyday simply because he didn't kiss people. It was a stupid idea, really and he despised, no, hated the person who even made Undeads. With a shrug of his shoulder and a quirk on the tip of his lips, he smirked before muttering, "Why don't you find out yourself? I'm pretty sure none of us would tell Monitors such information. Of course, your teacher must know, since Undeads to attend here as well." He did wonder why information on Undeads were still unknown, some for the most part. If this school was filled with Undeads, wouldn't information be gathered easily? Some would be unwilling but others surely would like to volunteer. Shaking the thought from his mind, he hummed. Yeah, fast heartbeat. If only. She wouldn't know how Undeads lived either way, and he was fine with that. Knowing that his kind was mysterious to other's was all that really kept the fun in being here. How they were all so naive of his different existence, and how they treated him like human when he really wasn't. Amusing. At the question, he quirked up an eyebrow. If he were to leak his real name, then more information would be exposed if she were to look him up. Although quite a few people would have the same name as his, he wondered. He hesitated to answer, lips pursed in a thin line. It was a matter of trust, could he tell her his real name? Feeling as if he had nothing to lose, he answered nonchalantly, "Jung Daehyun."

At her response, he couldn't help but tie her to a lazy aura. Though he knew he shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but it was just an instinct. Everyone judged others, no matter how hard they tried not to. That was why first impressions mattered. He turned to look at her, eyes averted as he pursed out his lips. Should he really spend time with her? What could she have to offer that would entertain him? Was he willing to listen to her drone on and on for what seemed like forever? Yet, she could turn out different he presumed. "What would you like to do if I offered my company?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side. Depending on her answer, he would either stay or leave.

( i juST IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN HOW I FEEL )

Blabbering on, his face was unchanged and was straight the entire time. He didn't care about what she had to say, yet Suzy kept droning on and on about useless stuff that probably didn't even care about. But the exact reason as to why he was doing it to some complete stranger was definitely something she couldn't say straight out. She almost gasped when she heard him speak, his voice breaking the serene sound of nature and the dull tone of her voice. "Impossible," she said, shaking her head. "Unless everything we've ever learned in Gottfried is a lie, then I commend you. Alas, you're the only one, between the two us, that can truly know." Suzy recounted the multiple moments where her professor scolded her for not thinking like her parents since she had questioned why they had heartbeats. "I heard that instead of the usual thudding.. it's more irregular. Quicker. More staccato-like. Something like that." She shrugged and let his eye bore into hers. The piercing color striking hers as he blinked her face away. The heart was an interesting body part. It was crazy how such a small organ could supply so much blood. A laceration in the heart could be potential death. So fragile and useful, yet the one that's broken daily. "What's your name?" she questioned, breathing in the cool air. She wasn't sure if he was going to give his real name. It wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't. He seemed to have such a tough exterior. It's like someone that knew him very would be the only one that could get to his warm core.

"Oh." It was all she could manage to say. And it was the only thing that came to mind as a response. He could have been the most optimistic Undead when it came to turning into one. It was a delightful surprise. "Are we done?" she repeated his question out loud, keeping it in mind. "If you'd like it to be.. But I wouldn't mind some company, and I'm sure you wouldn't...?" She tilted her head in curiosity and decided to watch the trees sway with the wind as she hummed a song that's been stuck in her mind for an eternity.
Jung Daehyun [U] 10 years ago
@Bae Suzy [M] (( what about them? XD ))

Daehyun felt like he had to sit there, listening to her lecture on and on about what would happen if his kind was to be exposed. His kind, he didn't really like the sound of that but that was what he was now. As he zoned out, he couldn't help but find it familiar to someone from his childhood, who would scold him on and on when he did something wrong. He blew another puff, blowing his bangs out of the way once more. He voice was starting to annoy him, as he's heard it quite a couple times now. How did it manage to sound so monotonous and boring all the time? He couldn't really say that, since his voice was quite similar. Although he tried to block out the sound of her voice, he heard the gist of her lecture. The people would call in the government because they cared for themselves and their loved ones. Eventually, they would all turn against each other and the world would be thrown into chaos. And why should he care? He never really liked the world, though he tried to see the best of things when he had a life. He sighed as she kept jabbing questions and words at him. When would she ever stop? "What if I told you Undeads don't have heartbeats?" it was just a question, since he wanted to see her reaction. He didn't know whether he had a heartbeat or not, as he never tired to search for it. All he knew was that he had a heart, a frozen one that didn't bulge at anything. He blinked at the words used to be, what was that suppose to mean? He then shrugged off the thoughts again, it was probably something unimportant, he thought. It was amusing how she found him heartless, carefree. That's what he tried to be. Of course, there was only one thing that could pierce through his heart whenever he heard it. Music, his soul and his everything. His dream was to be a singer, even he still longs for it. Around school, he was known for pushing earbuds into his ears, blocking out the sounds. He never sang though, not anymore. He would make sure the place was secluded and if he heard the smallest of sounds approaching him, he would stop and pretend to do something else. Yes, this was the boring life of Jung Daehyun. Go to school, do homework, and spend the rest of the day useless snacking and improving his singing. Back then, people would have said his voice was on par of those of an angel, but he refused to believe it. He still doesn't believe it now, because he was flawed.

Another huff escaped his lips as she started to ramble on about Monitors. Was she offended because he had said those people. He honestly had forgotten what they were called, since his mind only remembers important information. Stuff like this were unimportant to him, people he couldn't hide forever like how other Undeads tried to. He sat through everything, listening to her words. It was only fair since he had rambled on and on. He wasn't really attentive though, since nothing she said caught his attention and interest. At the last question, his head perked up. Why did he become and Undead? All he knew was that he was kissed at a party, and the rest was history. His answer only amounted to one word, which he used to answer without reluctance. "Fate." He didn't care whether it sounded foolish or not, but he grew up being a fatalistic person. Everything happened for a reason, and if those reasons were unknown, then it all led back to fate. He slowly stood up, hands still stuffed in his pockets. They were beginning to feel numb, not that he cared. "Are we done here?" he asked. He knew he had nothing better to do but she was starting to suffocate him with words and speeches, which was the last thing he wanted to hear about now.
Bae Suzy [M] [A] 10 years ago
@Jung Daehyun [U] ( thE REPLIES )

Suzy scoffed and slightly rolled her eyes. Why did she care? The obvious reason was blatantly out there, yet he still managed to inquire about it. "You want the entire world to go downfall because of it? Bumping into some Plebeian. How would they view the situation? They find out about what you are and how you make them feel. Soon enough, everything just stops. People are a little too careful. All the hard work everyone has ever done is thrown down the drain because we'll al be scared of each other. We'd be scared of kissing. That only leads to a stop in one thing: procreation." She surely was in for a mini lecture. She had no problem with that if it meant trying to knock some sense into the people of the world. It was one of the most helpful things she could have done. "I may be the least of your interests. But we need to look out for each other. Sure, the eye-catching headline might say that Monitors and the Undead are sworn enemies in our world. Who said we have to follow that? Okay, my kind kills you guys. And? Do you even know why? We kill you guys when we know you're doing something destructive. If you're about to take someone's pure and innocent life away, that's where you cross the line." As he spoke, Suzy mentally jotted down information that would probably be vital to her. He wasn't one to kill. Apparently, he was one of the special ones that could be living life without a taste of human life. This Undead did not care about anything, so why should she? "You don't have a single bit of affection left in that heart of yours. Is it the abnormal beating that makes you like that? They never did tell me in class," she sneered, eyes squinting at the male. "If there were more of you and less of the others, then there would practically be no need for us, Monitors. Who would we bury if you guys are following all the right rules? And I'm supposing you haven't any thoughts about the people that used to be. Then again, you might cut me off and say that 'used' was the key word. Past tense. No longer of use. I got it."

She intently stared at his face and crossed her legs, trying to get comfortable as she pulled her skirt down. "I guess so. Pros and cons are always there, but don't the pros seem to outweigh the cons most of the time? Though, the negativity in things seem to be such a burden, wouldn't you say so?" The question was rhetorical because they both knew the answers to that... unless he had a different view on things. Happy things versus sad things. The heartbreaking moments would always leave a bigger scar on an individual. The small, joyous things in life always end up being overlooked. "Those people?" she repeated, a mocking tone in her voice. "Let's see. Life is what you make it. All your little actions and little doings all account into who you become. You think being a Monitor is so easy? Always having to carry around some small shovel and a roll of gauze. The never-ending cold air that seems to nearly suffocate me. Death is literally presenting itself to me on a platter. I didn't want to be a Monitor. I had to move and stay here and learn some subjects that people don't even know about. I need to know the essentials of dirt and how to build a coffin. I left everything for this, and it's insane. As one would think, your kind isn't the only murderer in this world... We are too if you take a different perspective on it." There were smart Monitors and stupid ones in a bunch. The ignorant people were definitely the murderers, trying to put down the life of an Undead at first contact. "And do you know exactly how you came to be an Undead? By that, I mean do you know why?"
Jung Daehyun [U] 10 years ago
@Bae Suzy [M] (( he's a bit of suicidal and sass like wtf XD /shot/ I dunno o3o how does he scare you? OTL ))

Daehyun raised an eyebrow as she warned him to be more careful. Since when did she actually care to say that to him. He thought about it, being tied down and tested by the government, not so appealing. A small huff escaped his lips, why did she ask anyways? "It's not the best but if that's where fate takes me, then so be it. Why are you telling me to be careful anyways? It's not like your kind likes mine." It didn't take Daehyun much to figure out she was a monitor, judging how she knew that he was an undead whereas other people just thought he was a cold, sick fellow. Listening to retort, he knew that he was slightly misjudged. No, he didn't exactly hate the world and everyone in it, he hated himself. He want lost in his past, yes he did like to reminisce but that didn't mean anything. He just had nothing to look forward too, what was he supposed to do now? No family, no future, especially if he was to remain youthful forever. People would notice how he never changed, they would catch on. He would be called a freak, and it wasn't like he could attend school for as long as he lived. Eternity wasn't a gift for him, it was more of a curse. Watching life past by, watching people grow and die everyday while he stayed the same, it wasn't ideal. "Yes, life is a game, and everyone is the main player in their own lives. And yes, people are so very foolish. Everyone is foolish at one point, and they will continue to make mistakes and errors. Who knows where it'll take them, and who knows whether they'll achieve their dream? If they did, good for them. If they didn't, they'll continue to regret their past choices. No one is wise enough to be perfect, no one can be perfect. Even those that have died and lived again cannot be perfect. I live for the sake of existing, and when my time comes, I'll leave without a word. I don't have anyone I want to reconnect with, it's a waste of time to find someone whose born on the same day as my death. It's very unlikely, and for all I know, may be on the other side of the world. I can care less about my hunger," he rebutted. Yes, he actually didn't like satisfying his hunger, even if it grew insanely painful when he didn't. He didn't want more monsters in the world, killing off people until they were the only species left. He didn't want to say it in front of her though, he didn't want her to think that he might actually care for humans, which he did in a way. He wasn't supposed to, but he feared a world filled with undeads. The same people would live, un satisfying hunger growling in the pits of their stomach as they run out of resources to feed off of.

In the corner of his eyes, he spotted her sitting down next to him. So much for moving out of her seat if she was just going to follow him. Should have never moved, he thought to himself, finding that he had just wasted unnecessary energy walking here. He heard the crack of her neck, the inky sound he could hear in the silence minus the breeze of the wind. With hands still stuffed in his pockets, he glanced up at the sky. At the next statement, he released a humorless laugh. "Pissed? There's nothing to be mad about. Contrary, this life is better than being human, depending on where you stand." It was obvious that he had preferred stress and feelings above being an immortal being who was heartless. At the sound of the word best friend, he remembered back towards his childhood. He used to have a neighbor who was always there for him, but she was gone suddenly one day. Not even a single news of her was left behind. "It also doesn't seem ideal to be roaming around as an immortal person, knowing that death will never await them unless they run into those people. To know that they're different, outcasts that are unwanted if found out. To live their life hiding the fact that they won't age when the people they work around grow, and they have to move to conceal their identity. It also isn't ideal to live for hundreds of years, only to have your profile be pulled up and seeing that you haven't died yet when you're so old, that you look so young when you should be wrinkling. To live craving the feeling of life and youth, feeding off humans and killing them off through a simple contact that is meant for intimacy and passion. As I see it, our life is not that much better than yours, though the fact that we're void of feelings is a plus."

@Jung Daehyun [U] ( it is! your chara scares me wtf man )

"I know that you don't care about things. Looking at you is enough to give one person a hint about how you would act towards them. I was just telling you to be more cautious. If people were to find out about things that shouldn't be known, then we're nothing but screwed. How does being probed by the government sound like?" Misery and distaste were what revolved around his mind, and it certainly wasn't something that pleased anyone. He was caught up by the fact that he had lost everything that had ever meant something to him, which wasn't true. Although the popular sensations of elation and excitement weren't present, it didn't mean that he couldn't pretend. But he chose to be some hung-over person that acted as if he hated everyone in the world. As if everyone that talked to him would end up bringing his world down into some eternal black abyss of grief. His eyes were dull, lacking the playful passion that were evident in everyone else's. "So is life nothing but a mere game to you? You're the player and everyone else is the side character. And those people fighting for their lives to have an experience that they would never be able to have. Do you categorize them under foolish people? Are they stupid for wanting to have a bit of fun in life? Life may be stupid, since it's short as it is, but there's nothing wrong with wanting to hang around a bit longer because that's where the thrill comes from. Waiting for a day where something else is different. As you said, we don't know what'll happen next. And maybe that's why people stick around. Certainly there must be a reason you're still sticking around. Aiming to reconnect with someone?" She lifted an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Or are you looking forward to satisfying your insatiable hunger?"

Deciding that she didn't want to stand any longer, Suzy chose to sit on the nearest bench near the Undead. Just to keep a close on eye on him in case he did something unbearably absurd, but his visage didn't scream that out. She closed her eyes and cracked her neck. Opening them once again, she glanced at him. "You're not missing much out on life, so there's nothing to be so pissed about. You lost feelings. And so what? At least you don't get to go through the ones that bring agony. Your brain just sends out so many signals for your breath to go shallow. For your eyes to go watery. For your heart to ache. One day, you'll be hanging out with your best friend. The next, they'll be gone before your eyes with no trace of their body. It doesn't seem ideal." He probably didn't care, but Suzy couldn't help but spurt that out. What she would give to go back to her childhood where no one judged her. After her parents died, all their responsibilities piled up on her shoulders. Everyone expected her to be better than her parents. And how was she supposed to do that when all she wanted to do was be content with everything?

@Bae Suzy [M] (( pft ;; sure it is~ ))

Daehyun blew out a small puff of air, effectively blowing his bangs out of his eyes as he continued to walk, ignoring her voice as he tried to block it out. Damn persistent people, he hated them so much. Maybe hate was too much, despise was more like it. He disliked it when people got into his business like they belonged there, like his past and secrets were nothing. They annoyed the hell out of him, but this girl was a different type of persistent. She was the haughty type, at least in his eyes. The type that when he did something out of line, she would reprimand you until the end of eternity, and boy did he abhor that. "I don't care about how things should be done. All I know is that I am living this life, and I should live it to the fullest." That was always his motto, living life to the fullest though his definition back then was way off track from what he was trying to achieve now. He had dreams in the past, a passion and now he just craved nothing. Nothing could satisfy him, and he couldn't exactly place a finger on how he felt about that. Once he had sat down, he glanced up to see her there. Just perfect. His emotionless eyes bore into her as she asked the question, so she knew. He shrugged his shoulders, nonchalantly replying, "I don't care whether I die or not. So what if I don't get reincarnated? So what if I die with horrible memories? Life is something that the universe gives and takes, and everyone is bound to die sooner or later. Life is fleeting, something everyone wants to hold onto but can't have forever. So no, I'm not afraid. I'd rather accept my death than try to live because of the future. Your future is never how you imagine it, and it's foolish to see people hold onto something so nonexistent."

He could honestly care less whether this girl was a prefect or not. A person was a person. She could be the president and she would still be a person his eyes. No one should be treated differently, but thanks to social capital, the world was split into those who held power, fortune, fame and those that had nothing but poverty. Society was something he wasn't proud of, and if anything he would want to fix it. But he was one of those people in the category of nothing, and he wanted to stay there.

@Jung Daehyun [U] ( it's perfeeeect <3 )

Hearing the way he spoke made Suzy internally roll her eyes. She got what she got, and she was more than happy with the response he gave her. All she did was nod along to what he said and wait for him to finish. Once he did, she almost gasped when he touched her. "Watch where you're going," she called out, turning around to face his back. "Shouldn't someone like you be a little more wary about how you go about things? Or maybe you haven't learned much about how you live?" Her gaze went from his feet to the top of his head. "From the looks of it, you seem quite well-managed." Her hands made their way into the deep pockets of her cardigan as she walked near him, the cold air hugging her body. "Now tell me." Her voice was low so that no one else but the boy and herself could here. "Aren't you afraid of dying again?"

This boy was odd. He didn't seem to acknowledge the fact that Suzy was prefect. Then again, he didn't seem like one to have much respect for others. He must miss living a normal life. She tilted her head and observed him. Even through all the Undead beauty beauty benefits, he must have looked just the same before dying. Something about him seemed so eerily beautiful, and it definitely made Suzy's hands curl up into balls. He must have been devastated when his life of warmth was replaced with a dull, cold one. Pity.

@Bae Suzy [M] (( it's fine dear ;u; and it's nice, not a mess~ mines is short orz ))

Daehyun glanced up as he heard someone speak to him in a harsh tone, not at all shocked as he realized it was a stranger. Society these days, not improving at all. Everyone is still greedy, stingy, putting themselves first. What did he expect? He was now the same. His lips formed a straight line at the words, new kid? Just because he had hidden in classrooms and the roof in his past classes didn't mean that he was new. Minus the transfer he had during the end of his first year and the fact that he had to move back since he was considered dangerous now, he wasn't new at all.

"Sorry, I don't pay attention to insolent people like you at all," he replied, his dead voice dripping with venom with every word. People would have expected him to be like other undeads, flirtatious to get other's soul and to gain power, but he could care less. He wanted to feel like he was still human, even though he wasn't anymore. "Sorry, but I could care less whether this was your seat or not. However, seeing how brash you are, I'll move just so you can have your seat," he retorted putting emphasis on your, taking his time to stand up to find another seat, maybe the one way in the back since he didn't feel the urge to put up with this girl. It wasn't worth it, she looked like she was angered already by everything. He didn't want to push her buttons further, but considering his words he probably did. As he walked past, his shoulder brushed against hers, the contact not affecting him as he walked towards the middle and made his way up towards the back seat. He was reluctant to come home, only to find nothing when it was once full of life. It hurt every time he would return to a silent house, though he couldn't feel the emotional pain, he knew it would linger around. It felt nice to act like he had emotions at all, and he was glad that he had cherished and remembered every moment as a human, so he could dwell on the past. Even if he tried to erase or push back his memories, he simply couldn't.

( excuse any mistakes bcos I'm on mobile ;; )

Suzy held onto her mini black purse, secured across her chest, to make sure that no one would snatch it it away. Of course, the chances were almost zero but it never hurt to safe. Students buzzed about around, either freaking out about some exam tomorrow or screwing around with each other to make their lives miserable. None of their business was Suzy's concerns. All she wanted to do at the moment was head on to her favorite spot by the field and relax away from everyone and everything. The crisp grass was occupied by a few people playing a friendly match of soccer, and if she actually tried, she even felt the presence of one or two Undead. Each strong and oh-so agile. All so fascinatingly gorgeous. It was such a shame that such looks couldn't be achieved through genetics.

Approaching the end of the field, she stopped in her tracks and scrunched up her face. "What the hell?" she muttered under her breath. What was some random person doing in her spot? And then she felt it. That cold eerie feeling that brought goosebumps upon every inch of her skin. The feeling that shot adrenaline throughout her body. It was an Undead and the most attractive one she has probably seen by far. Characteristically, her face was unfazed as well as her tone and way of speaking. "What are you doing in my seat?" she asked harshly, looking down at the boy. His blonde hair and plump lips were the two features that stood out the most. Has she seen him somewhere? "A new kid like you should know better. But welcome to Gottfried," she monotonously said the last. A force of habit.

( this was a mess omfg I'm sorry )

Daehyun was wondering around the school, ignoring the stares from girls and the creepy glares from everyone else that wasn't falling for him. He didn't blame them, look at what he was now? A monster. Porcelain and flawless skin, fake beauty, incomprehensible knowledge, cold aura as well as demeanor. How else were you supposed to describe him? He certainly wasn't an angel or god, though some people seemed to think so. All thoughts were pushed out of his head as he reached the clear field, not much people here anyways. A sigh escaped his lips as he placed himself on the bench farthest away from the school building, since it had just ended. He just needed time to himself, like he always did. Though he craved power and youth, he didn't want to hurt anyone. He just wanted to fall in love normally, go to dances without having to leave because of cravings, have friends to hang out with. His heart that no longer felt anything wouldn't allow him that, and he despised it. If only that man hadn't kissed him, if only he had placed coins on his eyes. He leaned back, closing his eyes as he took in the feeling of the wind brushing against his already frozen body, yet he was't at all cold. Though he had looked carefree, he was anything from it. His ears were still attentive, picking up the smallest of sounds that would come from people passing by.

Age: 16
Writing Style: Mirror | Semi | Para
Position: Plesbian
Password: Yoon Bora <3 Lu Han <3
Writing Sample:
Kaeun had just got out of school and she immediately ran to the park to play with some kids she have made a promise to meet after her classes. Upon arriving at the park, she looked around giddily-excited to play with the kids, and when she finally found them sitting by the pond and feeding some ducks, Kaeun made her way towards them but only to stop and fall down on her bottom as she bumped into someone. "O-Oww.." she whimpered as she looked up to see who it was. It was a guy. "I'm s-sorry!" she immediately apologized as she bowed her head once she got up, but she was left dumbfounded as the guy just scoffed and walked away.

Pouting, Kaeun just went to the kids and she immediately brightened. "Hey there! Shall we play now?" she asked and the kids cheered happily as they pulled her with them to the playground.

-Date of Death: April 19
Timezone: GMT +8
Writing Style: Both semi-para and para
Position: Undead

Writing Sample: Wandering around the busy streets of the city, Luhan walked with a unreadable and emotionless face with his hands tucked inside his pockets. Being the eye-candy he is even with just his plain hoodie and jeans, he attracted a lot of attention as always. 'Tssk.. If only they knew that what their all looking at is actually already dead.' he thought to himself before stopping in his tracks as a girl approached him while smiling at him in a flirty way. "Hey--" and just before the other completed her sentence, Luhan just glared at her obviously telling to leave him alone. But the girl stood still, but Luhan noticed her eyes.. feeling tired as he himself felt a bit 'stronger'.
