Chanyeol growled in annoyance as Baekhyun's kart pulled ahead of him and crossed the finish line. 'I let you win,' he interjected in his deep voice, giving a petulant pout as Baekhyun flashed him a triumphant grin, and slammed the game control of the Xbox down, mumbling incoherently under his breath. Changing the topic abruptly so that the latter would note be able to gloat over his victory, he turned to the shorter boy, his eyes wide and unashamedly pleading. 'Since you won, can we go and get some food now?' he asked.

"I'm sure. I just need to drink more water, I think. And I'll be good as new. Nothing to worry about." He said nonchalantly, and pulled out a stool by the counter, taking a seat. It was times like these when he envied the powers of everyone else that didn't rely on certain weather. He was sure the heat must be what's causing his distress.

"I--ah, I'm fine, really." His speech stumbled a little, though he tried to keep his voice firm. He dreaded anyone having to worry about him, let alone Jessica. "It's just hot today, I guess. Not exactly my favorite season." He states, hoping to brush the topic away, along with her concern.

"Pff. Are you kidding me?! You made Kai food. He'd have you live here if he could. And everyone else loves you too." Xiumin had been careful to self-refrigerate the items in the bags he was carrying, which seemed to tire him out a bit quicker than usual. His powers seemed to be weakening lately, but he kept it to himself just like he did everything else. With the both of them working together, everything is put away in no time at all.

"Well hey, you're welcome here anytime." He looks to Jessica with a reassuring smile before opening the front door and setting the bags on the counter.

"But..I mean, you're okay, right?" This time there is clear concern in his voice, carrying most of the bags with slight ease.

"Not as 'grumpy as he'll be when he realizes he technically payed for it." He grins mischievously as he scans all the items and carefully placed them in bags. "You don't come around as often as you used to, you know. Everything alright?"

"No ho ho. No it's not. They're all really dirty and aside from Kris and Suho, they aren't all that responsible with stuff like this." Xiumin finishes his rant with a sigh, not really realizing he was ranting until after his aforementioned sigh, only making him that much more embarrassed. "Ah..hah, don't worry about it, Noona. If we run short, we can ditch Kai's milk." He steered the cart in the direction of self-checkout.

"Pffsh..I wasn't done yet." He grumbles mostly to himself when Jessica proceeded to add things to the cart. Xiumin eyed the items once more, then jutted out his bottom lip and shook his head. "Nope. I don't think so. Let's just hope we can afford all of this. Cons of living with a bunch of other guys." Laughs shyly, rubbing the back of his neck.

He rolled his eyes at her, but laughed it off and complied nonetheless, allowing himself to be dragged about. "Hey, I know how to buy groceries, okay!"

Having gone grocery shopping for the boys so many times, he had the list embeded in his head, grabbing the basics like milk, eggs, fruit and kid brand cereal. "Only reason I'd have for side hugging that guy. He was sitting right next to it." Xiumin says with a grin.

"Pff. Nice." He chuckled quietly before closing the door behind them and starting down the street. The Supermarket is no more than a block away anyways.. "And hey, you dont have to feel inclined to pay for anything. I got my wallet, and Kai's in case we fall short."

He nods to her with a smile, and hops off the counter yet again. "Alright! Where did you end up sleeping last night anyways?" Asks, grabbing his wallet before waliking towards the front door. "Last thing I remember, we were all watching a movie."

"Sure thing." He replies before washing the cutting board and knife he had used, and taking his seat back on top of the counter. "Apples. I want apples. Let's get those."

He shuffles off the counter and sifts through the cupboards, muttering something about Kai being a spoiled child, assuming Kai can't here him or doesn't care since he's so tired. Placing everything Jessica asks him for by the stove, Xiuming starts cutting the few vegetables.

Xiumin just heaved a sigh. Assuming no one was planning on leaving the house anytime soon by the sound of the mumbled conversation, he let go of Kai and weaved through people in order to reach a container of water bottles. He chilled the room temperature water by merely grabbing it and took a short swig, leaning against the nearby counter as the others conversed along.

"Pff, don't be a lazy ." He slings an arm over Kai's shoulder, and drags him back towards the front door. What Xiumin couldn't quite understand is why Kai was trying so hard to get to the practically empty kitchen. "We have no food in here anyways."
