Prison Island || Social Event + Activity Check INFO

BASIC EVENT INFO

The event will start on Monday at midnight in GMT-5, and it will end two weeks after on April 8 at 11:59pm GMT-5.

This event does double as an activity check, and more information about that can be found in the next section.

ACTIVITY CHECK

This event will serve as our activity check. During the event, you will be paired in groups. The activity check part is on the individual role-players (you guys), and your participation will not affect your group members. In order to pass the activity check, you must obtain five points on your own. This should be easy seeing as there will be a daily task for everyone to obtain one point a day. Five points in two weeks should not be a problem.

For those with two characters, you will need to obtain five points with both characters. Normally I wouldn't do this, but the points are easy to get, and I want second characters to be active.

TEAMS

Your teams consist of one prison workers and two prisoners. NOTE: This may change if we get more players who want to participate during the event. The prison workers are your team leaders by default, so work with them. The pairings are random.

Taemin's Team: Minpha & Kris Wu
Yoonho's Team: Shin Wonho & Jung Hoseok
Ten's Team: Han Sanhyuk & Lee Hyungjoo
Xingye's Team: Kim Jungwoo & Min Yoongi

PARTICIPATION

For the most part, you will be playing as individuals. Feel free to work with your teammates on anything. All the points you earn as an individual will be added to your team's total score. I don't have an exact percentage yet, but you will have to have a certain amount of individual participation points for your team's success to apply to you. This is to say that I won't be awarding people who allowed their teammates to do all the work for them.

GAMES

There will be several games for you to play. Some of them you can answer individually to earn points for your team, and others will require team work to be completed. The team work games will be kept to a minimum, and they are mostly for fun. All games and rules to play will be listed on the rooms for that game, so be sure to check the event room pages when the event begins.

ROLE PLAYING

It wouldn't be a roleplay event without some roleplaying. Here, I have a list of tasks for each team to play out. You can do each one separately, or you can combine them into one big plot. However you do it is up to you, but the same amount of points will be rewarded for finishing them. This part is just for fun, and it's up to you and your teammates which ones you do, if any of them. You are welcome to do all. Get creative. Bonus points may be awarded for creativity, drama, or humor. 

DO NOT start these plots until the start of the event. You may, however, begin discussing them if you'd like.

-The prisoners on the team get into a fight (2pts to each prisoner for a total of 4 team points)
-The prison worker gets involved or breaks up the fight (2pts to the prison work and the team's total score)
-The three teammates eat a meal together (2pts to each teammate for a total of 6 team points)
-Two teammates flirt with each other. The third reacts however they like. (2pts to each teammate for a total of 6 team points)
-One prisoner convinces the other to do something against the prison rules. (2pts to each prisoner for a total of 4 team points)
-The prison worker finds out. How they react is up to the rpers. (2pts to the prison worker and the team's total score)
 

Taemin & Yoonho's Team - One (or both) of the prisoners on the team are injured. Your character must mend their wounds. (4pts to each teammate for a total of 8-12 team points)

Jiyong, Ten, & Xingye's Team - One (or both) of the prisoners on the team are in danger (or one could be threatening the other), and your character must protect them. (4pts to each teammate for a total of 8-12 team points)

Minwoo's Team - One (or both) of the prisoners on the team are sent to the warden's office. The reason will be decided upon discussion. (4pts to each teammate for a total of 8-12 team points)

Total possible points per team for the role-plays: 32-36 

BADGES

At the end of the event, limited edition badges will be given out to the best participants. If you check your profiles, you will see that I have gifted each of you with a badge that tells roughly how long you have been on this rp. If you would like to receive more badges, feel free to leave it there (note: it will be updated to a nicer looking badge later). If you do not want to receive more badges, feel free to delete it. You may also tell me if you don't want more badges if you'd like, but I won't add any to your profile if I see the time badge missing.

Note: If you delete the badge in your profile, you will not receive badges from the event. If you are the winner of said badge, then the badge will be given to the runner up who wants to receive more badges. This is because I don't want to have a badge wasted when somoene else would like to have it.

FINAL RESULTS

At the end of the event, all participants will receive a number of points depending on the number of points earned as a team. Bonus points may or may not be awarded to MVPs, I'm still deciding that. (Feel free to offer input.) There will also be a gift shop opening up, and you will be allowed to spend your winning points on gifts for yourself or friends.

The limited edition badges will also be given out at the end, so keep an eye on your profile.

The activity check will be concluded at the end of the two weeks. Anyone who did not make their five points will be kicked out. REMINDER: Your second character must also make five points to stay on the rp.

OTHER INFO

We will have a "memory book" or a report of the event. When the event starts, I will open a room for memory book suggestions. In that room, you will be allowed to copy and past posts you think make up the best moments of the event. These can be in or out of character posts and even posts from the group role-plays.

The even starts soon, so I wanted to get this announcement up before then to answer any questions anyone would have involving the event. There's no information up about the games until the start of the event, as I'm still organising part of that, but I'm hoping they won't be difficult to grasp.
