general questions

what is difference between the rated and unrated tabs?:
the main difference
between the two is the content that is written. while all plots may include some
mature elements such as , gore, horror, etc. it may not be a core component
to the plot.

if your roleplay does not revolve around mature subjects(they are simply a minor
addition), then they will be placed in an unrated room. plots that are based around
(such as a student seducing a teacher) or taboo topics(recovery from a traumatic
incident such as r*pe, etc.) will be considered rated.

there is a bit of a grey area and if you are unsure as to whether your plot is rated or
not, tag either admin jeongguk/seonghwa/eunwoo/gal/otto or admin andy/taehyung
explaining the plot premise and ask their opinion.

so what exactly is a freeverse?: a freeverse is very much like a private roleplay
but on a much larger scale.

you will choose your muses and create a set of plots that you have always wanted
to try(you may look at existing RPers profiles for inspiration) to place on your profile.
the key to being in a freeverse is being creative and inspired; the only limit is your
imagination.

it will also help to create an out of character section detailing information such as:
- your timezone and general online activity schedule
- your muse level
- your writing style
- how often and quickly you respond
- rules about being reminded about replies
- your hard limits(tropes and kinks you will not roleplay)
- what you are willing to roleplay(specifically: your kinks and preferences)

again, you may look at other roleplayers profiles to gain inspiration.

from there, you will message other roleplayers that you interested in creating a plot with.
your partner may have their own set of plots that you can choose from so if this is the case,
you will both discuss what scenarios and plots attract you the most from each others profile
and decide together what to go with. if neither of you have plots, you can come up with one
on the spot by discussing favourite genres, topics, etc.

now that i understand what a freeverse is, how do i roleplay in it?: just like any other
roleplay you may participate in except it is between yourself and your partner(s)!

but my characters romantic partner is being romantic with somebody else! how is this not cheating?:
the beauty of a freeverse is that no plots are connected unless discussed beforehand.
would it make sense that my romantic plot between jeongguk and andy in a vampire universe
is in the same universe as my romance between jeongguk and taehyung in a high school setting?
no, it isn't :) since they are different plots, my jeongguk would not be 'cheating' on anybody as
andy does not exist in jeongguk and taehyungs world nor does taehyung exist in jeongguk and andys
world! if you are somebody who likes to be exclusive, i'm afraid that this may not be the
right roleplay for you.
