okay so.

 

we somehow lived to see 4 years. what a time to be alive.

once again, let us thank you all for those unexpectedly lively 4 months since the revamp and 4 years from the start.

we honestly did not expect it. but i am repeating myself.

 

to all the ogs - thank you for giving us a chance way back, sticking with us till today, giving us feedback and helping us grow and better ourselves, being incredibly patient when we are slow or when we make mistakes, and a special you thank you ♥ to minhyun for making fun of me for my typos. some of yall have been the longest-standing trainees any ent au roleplay has ever seen and honestly - hats off for that, we're sorry for being slow, but we promise you'll all get to that finish line soon!

 

to the peeps that joined recently - thank you for being the crackheads, that keep us running, give us fresh blood and new ideas, for tolerating us when we start talking about old kpop (be still my SONE/ELF heart), and for overall bringing our faith back in rpr, when we thought this website has gone to rot. there is still a new hope, anakin!

you know i love statistics so at our 4th year we draw the line at 213 favoritors (most favorited ent au rp on this god-forgotten roleplay land) and 72 upvoters (also most upvoted ent au on the same rotten island of play-pretend). we also hold 1st place for most comments and views in the ent au section, and are at the third spot for the most posts - so yall cracky, but also hold a good plot going with nice long replies, and i admire you for that - you guys keep this rp lit, the rooms - orange, and we show up on the "most active" list more often than we'd ever dream.

 

with your help and ideas, we added a few changes in rules and administration. you probably know about already, but let's list them here and make it official.

0) the jeju section will remain open for a while now, so that we can enjoy our ongoing plots and wrap them up - we saw everyone was having too much fun, and would be a move to close it right now. all other events will continue as per the schedule, as if we "came back" from jeju. jeju is currently no man's land, where time has stopped. treat it as the past. tomorrow (25th) 24carat will continue as planned, and all other classes and activities will commence, please await to be mass-tagged for more info on that.

 

1) the new password for joining will no longer be your current playing song. 

2) languages will no longer be a skill

1+2) this being said - the new "password" will be all the languages your chara speaks, rated on a scale of 1 to 6, where 1 is "knowing how the alphabet looks", and 6 is "i can hold a conversation about stocks and bonds freely in this language"

 

3) claiming multiple charas will also undergo a slight revamp. in the requests room you will see the amended requirements needed to claim a new face. in short - we no longer require blog posts (this is still loved if you enjoy us and think your friends will like it here).

instead of that we will be looking for active threads, like most rps nowadays do. for claiming a new face we wanna see you provide us with threads that you have with different players. Not characters - ooc players. that means on one face you have to be in an active thread with at least two real-life persons.

example. Persica has three faces - Boa, chrystal and solar. she wants to claim a fourth. she has the following threads going

boa: (1) yunho in the aquarium + (2) chaerin in the night club - pass  - she has two different partners

chrystal: (1) kai in the beach + (2) minhyun in the manager office - fail - kai and minhyun are the same person ooc, needs to find a new partner.

solar: (1) kwon eunbi in the vocal studio + (2) yuna in the dance studio - pass - kwonbi and yunho are the same person, but solar has two different threads, regardless of boa.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: active thread means the latest post in that thread can't be older than 10 days.

 

4) regarding music shows, promotions and winners - do let us know in the comments below if we should continue the voting process for each show via google forms, or should we just roll dice for each - every show has to have a winner, so that points can be awarded. unfortunately, out of 54 charas present, only 11 voted in the form, so we suspect you guys might not find that fun. in case you missed voting - you still have the opportunity to do so - the link is in every show room.
 so, Tell us if we should (A) go on with votes, or (B) to stick to the dice gods' opinion. the option with most opinions wins.
