✾ ANNOUNCEMENT ✾

Good Day Lovely Zootopians~ 

After much consideration we've decided that a few topics needed to be addressed here so that we can all come together and live a little more peacefully on our beautiful island. 

First of all, we have noticed a lot of ic and ooc mixing happening lately. Where ooc emotions are being brought into character or ic emotions brought out of character and  has been disturbing the peace around here. We would like to ask for it to stop. We understand that everyone gets attached to their characters from time to time, but we are all adults and nobody else is responsible for you or your characters emotions except you. If you are unable to control either, we would very heavily suggest a hiatus and a break for your thoughts and feelings to be sorted before coming back and mingling with others. 

Which brings me to my next topic of conversation: We are no longer allowing drama in any of the main rooms. A main room is considered the ooc room, spam room, any of the lounges, or rooms where several people gather together to enjoy each other's company. Our goal here is to create a safe place for people to have fun and feel welcomed and we ask that you all help us strive to be inclusive and understanding towards others. If you feel like your character/s are incapable of providing that then we encourage you to keep them out of public spaces. We strongly encourage all drama to be plotted beforehand and kept strictly to the people who agreed upon being involved.  

I would also like to address bubble roleplaying.  While we understand that many of you have partners that aren't around 24/7, we're noticing that several people are only popping out when their partner shows up. At least one of your characters needs to make an effort to reach out and be friendly with others, if we continue to see this sort of behavior, we will start issuing warnings. 

Keep your DP photos if you're in public rooms. Stop making yourself unapproachable. 

And lastly, we will start cracking down on those who do not follow the rules. As I'm personally getting tired of finding something new every day when seeking out a sense of stability here and I hate to admit it but my patience is wearing thin. If any of you feel like you're walking on egg shells or nervous to come into a public space, I strongly encourage you to come talk to me or one of the other admins about it. We can not help when we are not aware that it is needed. Excuse my language but I don't give a if it's me, my closest friends or even the other admins you have a problem with, let the admin you feel safest with know and we will address the issue immediately. You have every right to feel at home here as we do.
