hello everyone! this is the first announcement for sparkling blue that will hold some bit of information so please read to the end! 

• chat rooms: so i know in the rules, it says 'main chat is main chat' but pls don't be afraid to go in the other chats! if you wanna be spicy then go and be spicy! it's alright to be unhinged every once in a while lol. just as long as it's not the main chat then i'm okay with it, not saying that you guys don't use it but it was 4 days since anyone posted in there and i'm just :raised_eyebrow: at it lol. the turtle chat is fine being not touched if it's slower, but yeah. feel free to use the rooms as they are fit okay? 
• activity check: so we are hosting a small activity check for the time being, i hope that it's nothing too much for you all as for nonaus i really try to keep them small, but substantial enough to know that there is life. so the ac will be a 50 point ac over the period of 5 days. so it will start once this announcement is posted, and end on friday the 16th at 11:59 pm, main admin time which is gmt -5. (which means really everyone has an extra day so feel free to take advantage). the main admin had compiled a list of  everyone's points in the room under the extra tab with everyone's beginning post count. you can do the math to figure out what you need to be at for 50 points. once you have completed the ac please tag admin serim in the room with a c+p of your post count! 50 points should be really easy over this period as at min thats 10 points per day! for this period we ask that you do not spam! or ask for a hiatus. 
  • you can ask for a hiatus if you need it but if you are asking after the announcement is posted, you will still be required to do the ac! 
• event: this is the main reason why i'm holding this ac honestly, is i just want to run an event, but as a typically au admin, i actually don't know what kind of events that nonau writers would like, so i'm asking from you all as proof that you read this announcement as to comment down below on the announcement for what kind of event(s) you would like to see. if you are not an event person, please state that as well, i just want to make sure that everyone is reading the announcement as intended! thank you
