1) co and main admin and main admin are equal on my list.
2) au roleplays with heavy themes are my favorites to make. i love taking time and effort into a plot, though i never really have the time to do so. nonetheless, i love collaborating on it.
3) just being able to watch my own roleplay grow into something people enjoy. i like helping people out, being someone people can look up to especially if they have questions that need to be answered.
4) having the likelihood of a roleplay flopping. my worst nightmare when it comes to creating roleplays. i don't want to put time and effort into something just for it to crash and burn.
5) the time and effort it takes. i think people just depend on chats nowadays and let a roleplay drop way too easily, just because there's a new one that comes out. admins can put in work to keep a roleplay active, but i don't think alot of people realize that the members of an rp are what help the rp thrive. also, keep ooc drama away from me thank you very much. i don't need that when all i want to do is roleplay. damn.
6) 5, i think i put in alot of effort when it comes to adminning.
7) be patient. don't lash out. be kind to everybody but also keep in mind to abide by rules.

1) co admin bc it's less work than being a main admin
2) i love making normal crack nonaus with no theme because why not.
3) aaah well i love helping out and giving ideas whenever they need it.
4) there isn't nothing i dislike about it but when i am in that lazy mood, i won't feel like it.
5) that once you join regardless of what kind of rp it is, you gotta be active regardless.
6) basically 5 bc i have no life
7) well once you're a co admin, you gotta help the ppl there and the admins bc they are your main tasks. : D

1. adminning and coadminning i love doing both boo, I mean, I just love it.
2. au for sure
3. the different types of scenarios your are placed with and how you feel at the end of the day that people tell
you, you did well.
4. I guess all the work that comes with it~
5. I guess actually putting the backstory and how people prep to create an RP, it takes a lot of work my homies lemme tell you.
6. oh im complete trash, 0... tbh, there are people way better than me I am just a small fish in this grand scale of amazing admins.
7. Find a group of people that you trust, or ask current admins about certain ideas. AKA. CherriBomb, Sehyung, Dui, Peachboy, Poochy, or any of the non au admins. They are suuucchhh a huuuggeee help, and know so much about the site and how much it takes to create an rp they are great.

1) Probably co-adminning, if I have the time and energy - which, let's be frank, hasn't coincided in quite some time. I like taking care of the little things - making sure lottery points are given out, checking "purchases" and "delivering" them. Dealing with people? No thanks.

2) I don't really make or run anything... I just help where there's a need. I'll do mostly anything, except all-orientations, crack, and/or non!AU RPs. That and RPs that tacitly condone ia.

3) I like watching things go smoothly and the RP not seeming dead because all the points and stuff are backlogged and Lord knows when the admins will be back. I like being a gear that helps the Great Machine along.

4) People expecting me to care and/or playing sympathy cards when called out. Or people using me/my chara because of the admin/co-admin status.

5) That sometimes y'all gotta grow up and deal with petty on your own. I didn't offer to be co-admin to hear people ing to me about each other. Y'all are at least in high school and/or college and/or working professionals and/or in between jobs. Learn to deal with issues early on before they get blown out of proportion and you start dragging your "squad" or the admins in to fight the battles for you.

Also the fact that some people are very impatient. Admins have lives and schedules and work and assignments due. They're human too, not some mysterious gods who somehow have an abundance of time on their hands since they were able to start an RP.

6) Haven't done co-adminning since like 2014 so maybe a 2.

7) Focus on one task at a time, don't overextend yourself trying to update 500000000 different pages. You'll get overwhelmed and unhappy. Always ask fellow co-admins and head admin if you want to make changes, at least to get their perspectives on it. Lone Ranger-ing it won't do you well. Don't feed the gossip .

1. I prefer co-adminning over adminning. It feels easier flexibility wise and I'd rather report to a main admin and coordinate with some other co-admins. It feels to contribute to someone else's idea or dream rather than my own and trying to get other people to work with it.
2. I've done both but I find that I prefer to do AUs in general. The population and genre usually doesn't matter to me but I feel more inclined to ask to co-admin for one I feel really passionate about. Anything dealing with the supernatural, mythology, and city AUs seem to be my main favorites though.
3. The ability to help out people whether it's with an issue in the rp, a character change, or just navigating the place in general. I also enjoy seeing roleplayers happy with a place I've contributed to. I don't know, it just feels really nice.
4. I don't like when people rush admins or give them a hard time. Even if it's just a nonAU, there's a lot of work that goes into an rp. Oh and when people get onto admins for not being around enough. Admins, co-admins, and anybody else around here has lives outside of RPR. Whether it's school, work, or something else. This place can't always be our #1 priorities and it's not the admins fault what happens in their lives outside of here nor is it their fault if they have differing timezones.
5. Creating new ideas and updating large amounts of rooms takes more work than one would think. Layouts can sometimes be tricky and attempting to stay as original as possible is also difficult.
6. I'll go with a 4. I tend to be pretty active but occasionally I'll hit a slump where my muse or activity goes down for whatever reason. Plus, I feel like I have more to learn.
7. First of all, breathe. Don't feel like you're taking the whole world on your shoulders. Know that you can ask your fellow co-admins for help and that it's okay to ask questions to them or your main admin. It's better to be safe than sorry.

4. i don't like when people are rude to the admins because they don't realize how much work is put into things, i don't like when rps flop xdfcgvb
5. i wish people knew how much thought went into each and every little thing, how there were a lot of ideas and there was a lot of decision making and hard work!! also, i wish they would realize that nothing is really easy about it. i could go on and on for each question but imma s top myself
6. can i say 5. i'm going to say 5. i've done it so, so many times at this point that i think i've improved so much and i've seen so many different things that i think my skill level is high! of course, there are things i could improve, but...
7. don't put too much stress on yourself! if you're not sure if you can handle something, there are other admins for a reason! don't take in too much work because it can be hard to manage, only do what you know you can do well and don't be afraid to ask for help.

i didnt see the other questions wait
fullsun 6 years ago
1. i don't care either way, they usually feel the same to me.
2. au are always the most fun to make and run, though they're the most stressful due to there being more work than just accepting people and such.
3. i like being a part of creating this world for people to work with and create their characters and really expand with! i also like setting things up and coding and stuff heh
