Well. I'm 22. And my ing birthday was horrible. The only good thing was my dinner and my boyfriend comforting me after all the happened.
It all started with a nightmare that I woke up from that's too much to go into detial, then I tried to make it better and I went to Walmart to buy some Hi-chew and I ended up popping a tire on the road. So when my dad got here, big surprise, the chewed me out and spent my birthday chewing me out about how I can't take care of a car. He got the tire for me, and helped me put it on, but the whole time I got a lecture about how I know nothing and how I don't need to be taking a trip to Tennessee to see my friend in August. Dinner went fine, but my father sat there and talked to my boyfriend about cars and about how, once again, I KNOW NOTHING about cars, and that he needs to help my dad teach me how to look at a car.

And of course, I wanted some attention, so I was sitting there waiting, and I was waiting patiently for them to quit and then my dad...oh my dad, he noticed. Instead of being sweet about it, he decided to let into me and cuss me out for being uspet that he was taking all my time away from MY BIRTHDAY with MY BOYFRIEND.
So what do you think happened, hm? I cried. Why? BECAUSE MY ING BIRTHDAY GOT RUINED. My sweet sweet boyfriend litereally ran after me when I got up and left the room sobbing, and he spent an hour being sweet to me. We have a relationship where he's my daddy, and he was a better daddy to me than my own dad. He comforted me for an hour before he had to go home, and then he called me when he got home and spent an hour on the phone with me to make sure I was okay.
*sigh*
Yesterday was a hard day. so. There you go.
