I can't believe I had to witness some of yall disrepecting people decide to use jonghyun for your rp. Worst of it all, you knew that it was wrong and tried to justfy it by addressing him under a muse name so he's just a faceclaim. If he was just a faceclaim, how hard is it to find somebody else? Its so closed minded to think he's the only one who would fit your role.

He may be gone for more than a year but wounds are still fresh like yesterday. I'm not trying to act as the guard for whoever faceclaims should be used but all I want is for him to remain a beautiful memory, and I'm sure many other shawols share the same sentiment. I'm not trying to say Jonghyun is an innocent, pure man that shouldn't be used for but to use him for selfish ed needs when he's already gone. There's probably more roleplayers out there that secretly use him too and that sickens me even more.

I want to open a discussion here. Am I just too sensitive or is it morally wrong to roleplay deceased people?

IT IS MORALLY WRONG TYSM FOR THIS. i see people all the time roleplaying deceased people, but not even recently deceased. like the beatles, older celebrities, etc. i think it's incredibly disgusting and the people that have the audacity to do so don't take into account how many people are still hurting by the loss. people claim that it's a 'celebration' of those lost, but i just think it's incredibly disrespectful.

it's all a matter of personal opinion and feelings. i personally wouldn't roleplay as someone who's dead but i don't get a say in what someone else does just because i personally wouldn't do it. people could use it as a way to cope with his death and/or honor his memory. i know it's hard to see the things from a different perspective and not let your personal feelings get involved but you have to realize not everyone feels and thinks the same way that you do.
