Layout.

The foreword layout is easy to read and the roleplay's layout is easy to navigate. The rooms are separated in a way that makes things easy to find so long as you know what you're looking for. There are a lot of OOC rooms in the event you need anything (feedback, wishlist, requests, ooc chats, etc) and plenty of IC rooms for plots to be executed in. Within navigation there is an entire section dedicated to plotting, which given the freeverse nature of the roleplay makes things easier on the roleplayers.

Each character is given their own room, which can help with the tracking of threads. Character rooms are divided by male and female for further navigation ease. Aside from those rooms, au and non-au rooms are an option, and are also divided in the navigation panel; there is a location section, which are unspecified locations you might find in any au (cafes, restaurants, et cetera). Additional rooms can also be requested from one of the admins, our lovely Soojin!

Most rooms are rated M, but those that don't allow rated roleplay or conversation will lack the M mark - so long as you pay attention to if the room LACKS it, you should be good!

Everything is readable and typed in regular font, which helps for people like me who have a hard time reading fancier fonts used by other roleplays. The clean setup of Loveshot makes it easy to get around and use. Nothing is too excessive or too understated.

Writing/Theme.

Loveshot is a freeverse roleplay, which means you can do plots of pretty much whatever you want. This is a literate roleplay and only accepts individuals with the submission of a writing sample... which means if you're looking for literate writing and a place to hone your skills or just enjoy writing and growing, Loveshot might just be the place for you. If you're looking for oneliners and crack in a place where no one takes anything seriously and all anyone does is xD in the chat rooms at one another for three weeks straight, this is absolutely not the place for you.

A lot of the roleplayers in Loveshot write novella, but length is pretty much an open discussion and if you're not comfortable with a lot of length, there are people who will accommodate you! And if you want to work up to a greater length, that's very possible, too.

As a person who didn't write novella before joining Loveshot, I can vouch for how easy it is to shell out long posts when you have the right partners — and if any roleplayers are, the ones in Loveshot definitely are! Loveshot is full of talented writers who just want to help everyone get better, and they make getting out of your comfort zone comfortable.

Admins.

Now let's talk about Loveshot's admins! There are five of them: Jaehyun, Johnny/Soyeon, Boa/Yuta, Ten/Jinsoul, and Soojin/Luda. Jaehyun is the main admin.

The general consensus of members joining Loveshot is that Jaehyun/the admin team are intimidating. However, once you get to know the admins, they're actually quite nice. They are not the sort of admins who only speak to specific people in the chats and ignore others, nor do they play favorites. When there is an issue, the admin team will be professional with you or those involved.

While many of the admins are busy at this time, the admins also aren't the sort of admins who will only roleplay with specific members of Loveshot. So long as their thread spaces aren't full, they'll probably plot with you if you ask! And should the tracker fill, I know for certain that Jaehyun has a waitlist.

So long as you're following the rules and respecting other people in the roleplay, there should be no problem with the admins.

Population.

The roleplayers within Loveshot are literally some of the nicest people I have met on this site. No one ignores another roleplayer or facechases. Loveshot is, in the words of Loveshot members, like a huge poly relationship. Everyone loves everyone and everyone gets along. There's no such thing as cliques that form and ignore everyone else. With the wide variety of people, there's always someone down for literally any plot you could have in your mind. You just have to find the right person to do it with.

A suggestion would be to post plots in the plotting rooms and then start sliding into dms to ask people if they're down to roleplay!

Warnings / Overall.

One of the only things to warn about Loveshot is that sometimes application acceptance can take a short period of time, because Jaehyun (main admin/admin in charge of application acceptance) prefers to do things in batches. I would advise you not to worry or ask about it if it takes a while for that very reason. Jaehyun will get there when he gets there and then you'll be one of us. Another warning I have is that you're literally going to be smothered in love by everyone, so be prepared to be loved. And lastly, Chailee has everyone's heart and she'll have yours too, watch out for her.

Overall Loveshot is a great place for literate roleplayers seeking a place where they can explore various themes with no ties to any specific characters and no restrictions except those that are their partner's limits.

Personal Experience / Feelings On Loveshot.

Admins: the only issue I have with them is that they make me feel too overwhelmed with love some days. smh.

Aside from that, I will let myself speak for myself:

okay but look----

i'm one of those people who often uses a muse in several different rps, i.e. wonpil right now is my main muse. before my last Vanishing Act i only played a muse from infinite, a muse from history and three muses from nct.

the nonaus i was in, and the -onlys with the exception of one (1), were full of people who wouldn't rp with you if you weren't from specific groups or weren't interested in doing romance with them... or if you tried to do a friendly rp with them, they thought you wanted or a relationship. in most cases i just wanted to do a friendly rp.

i was in an all-orientation rp where i played a character and the gals tried to turn me straight despite me saying i can't do het. in nonaus i was mainly not... spoken to... because people only talked to their groupmates and everyone was doing scriptive, cracky rps. in some aus it was the same. if i played with my infinite or history muse i never got attention. if i played with my nct muses i got some, but usually it was facechasing and just people wanting their otp. or wanting to start .

so when i say my experience was age, my experience was age.

thank you loveshot for being the love.

Oh my god, thank you so much for this. I love your review and I will be taking everything into consideration! I've missed detailed reviews like this ever since shops stopped doing them on rpr around 2017 so I was eager to bring it back with my own rp. You are also welcome to use our anonymous feedback form for admins in our services room! And last but certainly not least, Love Shot is lucky to have you as a member and we are glad to provide you a safe place to explore and flourish in your writing. We hope you continue to have an amazing journey with us.
