What Type of Roleplays Are Popular?

I want to rework the role plays I have to edit them. One is very light and cutesy and but a werewolf. The other is darker and supernatural and all orientations but matchmaking.

What types of things do you expect in a lighter roleplay? What do you expect in a darker roleplay? What should an all-orientation roleplay have over one with just ? Is a darker roleplay too much in this day and age? Do people just want straight-up light fluffy all the time?

Do neither interest people?

and even if you make a popular type rp, it also depends on whether or not people like you as an rper. the newer you are, the less ppl wanna join your rp. and if you don't join other "popular" rps to make friends, well people on this site don't like joining rps that aren't run by their friends.

tbh my opinion i feel like there’s always a group of ppl who like one instead of the other and there’s people like me who honestly enjoy either u v u
in a lighter rp maybe it’s soft, some crack(depends if its nonau or not ig) or romance, fluff yeah.
Dark rp ig just angst, drama, thriller, all that good stuff shshs
ive still seen dark rps around u 3 u idk if this helps the blog post questions but yeee
