so i was thinking of making an all ori all ages place ofc not below 17 cause that's just pushing it in my personal opinion

but i know how rpr is these days and how the age requirement keeps getting older and older so i dunno if anyone will be interested.

i would ofc have measures and rules to prevent s*xualizing any minors but i'm really just trying to make a place that feels somewhat like the old days

where we can all just hang out and have fun, build meaningful relationships, memories and not worry about all that clique stuff, people being singled out or ignored or just feeling unwelcome in general

something lighthearted you know?

anyways let me know if that's something anyone would like to happen and what you think i could add to bring back that good old rpr feel

rules don’t completely prevent people from ualizing minors — ruling out the possibility of having minors in an rp does. besides, what would you do if someone does do stuff like that but in rp pms? that fault does lay on you as well.

besides, allowing minors was not an overarching theme in old rpr nor was it ever an essential factor. i would even argue that what you’re trying to replicate (the vibes) is impossible because the site has changed. I do think you can pivot in that direction by using older layouts from 2012-2013 though. additionally, the issue of having cliques or people feeling unwelcome will and has always been an issue regardless times changing. you will have that issue in any room you make or join.

I guess people are just changing you know? We used to just not care about connection and just wing it. Back when RP or AFF didn't care how young you are or which faceclaim you going to choose to write. I still remember someone rp Tia(14), Changjo(16) when they both are in their teen and ppl roleplaying them as a s** slave. Looking back it was so wrong in so many way and I was 16 back then with fcked up mind because there's just no restrictions around here. People can even you with or without character as long its a minor. I went to a very dark turn and left rp for many years before coming back last year with fresh start. Its best to put it as 20+ for both ic and ooc to avoid what ever thing i experienced. Its better safe than never..

considering the nature of roleplaying, where people are bound to engage in romantic plots with their characters, i would highly advise against changing the requirement. it's just not worth the risk imo. and i don't see a reason why we should rp minors or just-turned-adults.
most of us play a character we think is attractive. i don't think i need to elaborate why rping a minor would be very wrong in that regard.
simply put, people put the age requirement for a reason. it's just overall protection for both the faceclaim and the writer

I'm going to be SUPER honest but only to help: this only applies to idols in SK: idols are still considered minors until 19/20

I think a lot of people are just realized that rp-ing anyone that is even considered a minor somewhere is...creepy.

Especially if an adult is rp-ing a minor idol.

Bad things can still happen in pm's unfortunately.
