〈 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 〉 ​ʜɪꜱᴛᴏʀɪᴀɴ ᴅɪꜱᴄᴜꜱꜱᴇꜱ ɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴ'ꜱ ʀᴇʙɪʀᴛʜ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘʀɪᴅᴇ

〈 𝐏𝐘𝐄𝐎𝐆𝐘𝐎　 ♟ 　 표교 〉 is about to begin the first chapter of its story! Previously on Pyeogyo, the Fire Nation celebrated the Fire Lily Festival. It was vibrant and lively, with participants leaving the event with broad smiles and contented hearts. Many couldn't wait to experience an event as grand as the Fire Lily Festival soon!

Behind the scenes, the Earth Nation unearthed an ancient reading. The discovery shook the archaeologists, who found the text, and Queen Yoon, who sent those men. Foreseeing the disastrous reaction of whoever shall know the truth, Queen Yoon swore all her people to secrecy, to never allow this finding to reach the public. However, someone in the circle ran their mouth, and now rumours had spread across the four nations...

As Chapter One drew near, we reached out to fellow citizens of the Air Nation for their thoughts and feelings towards their nation. Today, we speak to Ahn Seogeon, a historian. This was what they had to say about their beloved nation: 

Have you heard about the rumours? What are your opinions on the matter? 

Yes, I've heard about them. Many were unsettled by it. I, however, found it interesting. There had been cases of non-benders who awakened late in life, or never found it within them to obtain the blessings of the Goddesses. So, to find out that one may have the power to conquer all four elements, although their unfortunate circumstance? Who wouldn't be at least intrigued? Of course, there's always the worry of these people losing themselves. After all, with great power comes great responsibility. And, if one is not careful, power can corrupt — absolute power corrupts absolutely. Even so, it wont stop my fascination towards this discovery. Then again, that is under the assumption that such rumours are true. Only the Earth Nation would know, as I've heard many said that was where the finding came from. Queen Yoon, bless her highness, had not mentioned anything about the matter. So, until someone from the Earth Nation spoke up about this rumours, I would like to believe this to be just that — a rumour.

What are your current thoughts and feelings towards your nation? What about the Air Nation brings you pride and joy?

Before the attack, the Air Nation had been poor and defenseless. However, after achieving independence, we had dedicated our lives to advancing the nation's technology and science. Now, the Air Nation is the most technologically advanced of the four. As an Air National, I'm very proud of how far this nation had come. From wandering nomads to a pioneering nation, there is no doubt how much we had grown. Although our progressiveness, I wouldn't say this nation is perfect. In fact, we are far from perfect. Because to declare something as perfect is to see an end to progression. Something cannot be advanced if it's perfect. Even as we thrive for perfection, we can never be perfect, because then we will slow down and become complacent. As such, I hope to see this nation continue growing. Never look to be perfect, but always look to be better. I, too, will continue to be better. Better than the me yesterday, and better than the me today come tomorrow. As my proud nation continues to grow, I will also continue to grow with it!
