Yoon Haewon ( fc: Jeon heejin ) - A daughter from a Sangmin family, House of Yoon. Her parents are both renowned artist and they run a little shop selling norigaes! Haewon now runs a side shop just near the main shop.
Byun Haeryeong ( fc: Kim Jiwoo, Chuu ) - A daughter from a former yangban family. Comes from a rather powerful family, their family has a long history of serving in the Queen's ( then king ) court, but has been demoted to sangmin status after the last war that broke out. Haeryeong has a three year old son called Jihae, a set of twin girls born recently, jiyeon and jieun whom belongs to both haeryeong and her current husband, hyunki.
Ryu Aera ( fc: Kim yoojung ) - A daughter from the Yangban family, House of Ryu. Aera is the youngest sibling of the four children in the ryu family ( songmin, minho and yeonhwa ). Despite their power hungry parents, the children have a tight knitted relationship. Aera is also the youngest ( in history ) sagwan in the current Queen's court by day and leads a second life by night as a dancer in kisaeng house.
Chae Seonhye ( fc: joo hyejoo ) - fourth child of the chae family, and the youngest daughter. She's an owner of an food shelter establishment that helps the needy and the poor. She recently got married to the Duke of pyongyang, Cha Kiwoon, a marriage out of obligation. Plot twist is Kiwoon is her unrequinted first love.
Hong Gureum ( fc: jung soojung ) - The second daughter of the former Yangban Hong family. Currently has been demoted to Sangmin status. Their lineage is known for practice medicine over several generations. Gureum is the golden child of the Hong family, she used to practice as a female physician in the Royal Infirmary before deciding she wanted to specialise in pathology. however after a series of misfortune, her father and her fiancé passes away, leaving her and her heart in ruins. leaving her job entirely, she now has a rice cake shop called ddeok-ddeok-hae that supplies rice cakes for all occasion, especially wedding. Ironic, because Gureum doesn't believe in love anymore.
