he was born with a silver spoon forced into his mouth. his father owned the biggest modelling company in south korea, and needless to say, he was fed, clothed and exposed to only the finest things in life. his father's importance in the fashion industry, paired with sehun's model appropriate stature, landS him tons of gigs with popular magazines. this leAdS to many in school recognising him as a popular part-time model. however, none know the stepping stone he IS provided with by his father. in other words, his filthy rich background IS but a secret to most, and he prefers to keep it that way.

sehun hateS the snobby upperclass life his father IMPOSES ON him. his greatly respected father is but a scum in his eyes. ruthlessly, he threw aside sehun's ill mother for his career. all for money, and the materialistic luxuries the world offers. the same man who had vowed to take care of her in sickness and in health - ha, bull - indifferently left her in the lurch. young sehun's superhero, idol and biggest role model of a father lost all sehun's respect the minute he closed the door on the young boy's crying mother.

with the death of his mother at the age of 18, sehun left home to live on his own. his father continues to pay for his school fees, but sehun rejects any allowance, refusing to take more of his father's petty money, instead, he relies on his growing modelling career to support himself. however, more often than not, his father still sends his personal assistant to his house, hoping his only son will one day decide to take over his business.

fun, outgoing, playful; these are some of the traits many of his schoolmates identify sehun with. he loves being the life of the party, and basks in the feeling of being wanted. despite his happy demeanour, sehun locks the cold, lonely and sensitive side of him behind tightly locked doors. he can't let his petty emotions hinder him any further. sehun will not let his emotions stop him from surviving. but as easily as he had pushed away his family, he will push away anyone who gets in the way of his survival.

PLOT 001 // HYERI:  hyeri has always been uncomfortable with the immature, flirty sehun. sehun, who is used to attention from the opposite , doesn't understand hyeri's lack of reactions to him. through an event in brazil in which they were paired up, first impressions vanished and better impressions were made. hyeri starts to understand sehun a little better, and vice versa. 

PLOT 002 // jennie:  they ended their relationship on the worst of terms. it had been a huge misunderstanding, not that any of them know. a lack of communication ended up being their greatest regret. many questioned if the two would've lasted long together anyways. and whatever the answer was, they would've lasted longer than they did if not for the work of a few pesky fangirls of sehun's. sehun's mother had been severely ill, and he avoided telling jennie, afraid to share his burdens with others. fangirls, in an attempt to break him and jennie up, spread false rumors to jennie that sehun had been cheating, and jennie mistook the decrease in time they spent together - because of sehun always rushing home to take care of his mother - as an affirmation of the rumors. on the day jennie had asked sehun out, wanting to thrash things out, sehun's mother was in critical condition and eventually also passed away on that day, and so he never turned up. with sehun not showing up and jennie locking him out of her life afterwards, both ended their relationship hurt, angry and bitter. jennie still believing the rumors were true, and sehun confused as to why jennie suddenly locked him out - feeling worse because of his loss too.

PLOT 003 // jeonghan:  jeonghan and sehun had met because of their similarly rich families. they had also bonded because of their families and the immense pressure put on them to take over the family business - both not wanting to too. they became the best of friends since young, jeonghan also being one of the only ones in school aware of sehun's family background. they depended heavily on each other, until the past year when jeonghan started to distance himself from sehun. turns out, sehun's new friends from school had started to outcast jeonghan and threatened him to stay away from sehun. not knowing the reason at all,
sehun's left feeling hurt & confused.

PLOT 004 // bora:  knowing sehun's messy family background and attempt to live independently, the school sent sehun for counselling. and, he got assigned to bora. however, sehun continues to put on a mask and is playful and flirty around bora, refusing to delve into his personal life with her. bora, however, is persistent in wanting to crack such a tough nut. in brazil, bora chances upon the weaker side of sehun during a phone call with his father, and is finally exposed to his true, vulnerable side. the exposure, though, causes an awkward tension, especially with sehun's displeasure in someone he had yet to trust knowing of something so personal to him.
