Sojin joined the detective force, in short, because she was told she couldn't. No woman became the head of a police unit; it was unheard of, yet she took that stereotype and crushed it beneath her combat boots, and even earned the position as an undercover cop. She wasn't just another pretty face (unless it deals with her other job), but you are welcome to assume that and find your face against the concrete. Her father was a lead detective before he was injured in a gang issue, resulting in an early retirement. Sojin hated what retirement did to her father and vowed to take her revenge on the gang. That's what spurred her joining the academy, but all the insults thrown her way were what made her the top of her class. She was now a primary member on the force, and she was often sent out on the harder missions, like her current investigation on drugs in the fashion world.

She often gets in fights with the new recruits because at first glance, they don't know she's as high in power as she is. She's quick to make them remember, though, and in some cases, she's almost gotten fired, but she's one of the best they have, so unless she commits an actual crime, she's only reprimanded by the higher ups. A simple slap on the wrist, if you will.

Two Can Play at These Games

Sojin isn't a grey area type of person; everything is black or white, and that's how it goes. She's a brutally honest person and will have no trouble telling you how it is because she doesn't like to beat around the bush. Despite the deception of her occupation, she knows what she's doing is for the greater good so in instances like that, she has no qualms with spinning and intricate web of lies. Arrogance not only shows in her heeled strides, but also just the way she holds herself. She's a dominating character, often interrupting those she subconsciously deems as inferior to herself, and her bite is much stronger than her bark. Words are followed by actions: if she says she's going to punch you in the face when you don't stop pestering her, expect a fist to meet your face. She's made many models cry in the industry, so it's a surprise she's still able to work there, but her work speaks louder than her daunting personality. Money keeps people quiet, and she has a lot of money coming in through her designs.
