Jihyun was born in korea however both of her parents are from the united states, colorado to be exact. With this she grew up speaking english at home and had frequent visits to the states as well. She grew up with three older brothers however she was more of the "opps were not done baby" so her siblings were already out of the house and were starting families of their own. This was never a problem for Jihyun although when she was in her teens and her parents were gaining age they had found it harder to get to all of her chior practices without trouble. this was a little disapointing at first but being the loving caring person she was she did all she could to take care of her. as of late her father had died of a heart attack. since it was recent jihyun is still feeling the affects of it, however she feels like she needs to be strong for her mother who is now elderly. 

 

after highschool and a few years on jihyun really had no clue on what to do. any ideas for a profession or further education. however this changed when her mother asked if she would be interested in teaching english at lakeside. GOdfrey is a family firend of hers. her father and his father actually were good friends. although she was practically grated the job she went to college to get a degree in teaching. she has only been at the school for two years now, so she is rather new.

personality

jihyun is a very quiet and reserved person, she may come across as sassy or even rude if she does not know you. This is a defense since her social skills are rather lack. people have also told her that she has a resting face. she doesn't mind this since she really isn't quite sure how to talk to people well. however this changes when she is with children she is amazing with kids and hopes to have some of her own one day. even though the first few lectures she had were nerve racking, she soon got the hang of it and actually really loves her job!
