At first glance Tingyan, or Elkie, seems just like any other girl. Average height, average style. Not exactly a genius, but smart enough to pass school with ease. Maybe a little pretty, maybe a little popular among her peers, maybe a little dazzling when she smiles.
She's an outgoing person, friendly, sometimes a little carefree, sometimes a little too curious, too blunt. She doesn'tn mean any harm though, always quick to apologize when realizing she was in the wrong.
Tingyan is a lover of the fine arts, poetry and prosa have always fascinated her. she could spend hours in the library, forgetting time and her surroundings as she dives into magical fantasy worlds.
Music is her other passion, as she can often be found absentmindedly humming to lyricless melodies while working on different tasks, going about her day.
The biggest love of her life though, is, without a doubt, food. She loves spending her free time searching for the best places to eat out, occasionally trying her hand at cooking even though she's just okay at it. It is no secret that Elkie is easily bribed with food, even though she always denies it.
Elkie used to be a child actress back in hong kong,, having appeared in several dramas and many commercial videos throughout her childhood and teens. Ever since little she has always been a big kpop fan, thus practicing Korean, dancing and singing in her free time, all while dreaming of eventually becoming a kpop idol herself.
Graduating high school, she packed all her belongings and moved to south korea, determined to debut in a girl group. living in a tiny apartment, she would go from audition to audition during the day, both for music agencies and for little jobs like commercials or minor roles in dramas while working as a waitress in a fried chicken restaurant in the evenings.
It wasn't the easiest lifestyle, but she was still content, knowing that it would only be temporarily. And surely enough, she was eventually accepted into Petal entertainment.
