hirai momo was born and raised in kyoto, japan. throughout momo’s childhood she noticed that her parents didn’t have a good relationship with each other. she didn’t understand relationships. was it normal for parents to be like this? in her junior year, momo’s mother gave her money to fly to seoul, south korea. for a new beginning. it was difficult to understand the korean language for quite sometime and lonely for her because she was by herself. as time went by, she grown to have insomnia. during those restless nights, she danced the night away. with all her hard work put into dance, she got into solace university. she’s majoring performing arts and working part time at the coffee shop。
