Naive was one thing that would describe what Dongwoon was, and later on, self-declared as stupid.

Born in a city far from town, there was nothing at all that was special about him except maybe the happy-go-lucky trait he had that never faltered whatever happened. His parents were born in and grew up in Tiramisu, only moving out to start a family. It left his grandparents in the town by themselves, him only visiting a few times a year on breaks or special occasions.

No matter how seldom he visited though, it left him with a happy memory. He was extremely close to his grandfather, the older teaching him how to cook even when he was too small to do so. It was just that he was adored so much by him. It made him develop a love for food, not just eating and had him aspiring to be just what his grandfather was.

As he got older, Dongwoon only experienced disappointments and betrayals from people he considered friends – left out a lot, framed, and pushed around a lot. It took him a while to realize that he was mostly just being used by his group, seeing that he always believed in his mother’s words: there is always the good in people and you should see them always in a positive light.

At least it wasn’t after the graduation party he got duped at did he realize that it wasn’t always right. Most dense moron. He remembers the words so well in his mind and he always remembered how everyone looked at him.

Better to have forgotten it.

Right after that, he began to be more distant – he started to grow hate for anyone that tried to get close to him. He hated how the city was full of people. One way or another, someone was bound to remember him, someone was bound to talk to him. Ah, but he never realized that something tragic would at least give him hope for a new start.

After receiving news of his grandfather’s death, there was only one thing in his mind: to fill in his shoes. Tiramisu had less people. Tiramisu residents won’t recognize him. Tiramisu meant he can work with what he loved. What else was there to do except to move in town?
