  • hyewon was born as the oldest daughter out of two, and was entrusted with carrying her mother's acting career.
  • from when she could walk, she'd grown up under the cameras and lights, remembering and reciting lines given to her. but, once she reached the age of 8, her mother pulled her from movie sets to give her a proper introduction to education.
  • even then though, her mother couldn't stop her father from burdening hyewon with the unrealistic expectations he had of her (and her sister), relentlessly working her to be nothing short of perfection, especially in front of cameras.
  • hyewon had a difficult time balancing her normal life and celebrity life - from what her mother wanted and what her father wanted, and neither could she choose.
  • eventually, hyewon decided to pursue acting as a major to further fulfill her father's desires (and because she felt like that was the only thing she excelled in).
