ೃ★︎ ⟶ FOR PLOTTING. i would prefer if you came to me with a plot in mind, and i will try and do the same. plotting is usually not too hard for me to do, but sometimes i can get quite stumped. winging is fine, but i am still quite new to it so it can blind-side me a bit ghjfd.
ೃ★︎ ⟶ TIME ZONE & PACE. my timezone is gmt-8. know that i am very not active with replies lol. i have bouts of intense writer’s block and low muse, so i might “ghost” our thread for some time, but i will try and let you know when that happens. please just poke me politely and respectfully if it has been over a week since you responded, and i will let you know how i am doing (this poke won’t make me reply, just remind me that i have to let you know how i am doing).
know that i might be active in the chat or responding to other threads does not mean i am ignoring our thread or you. sometimes it’s just how it is, and i will not be mad at you for doing the same.

also not interested in our characters having large age gaps if we have any romantic connections (esp endgame). with this character (seulgi, 29), no one older than 35 and younger than 25.
ೃ★︎ ⟶ WRITING STYLE. i tend to get a little carried away with writing so my replies might be a little long. i like to reply in 3rd pov paragraph style and only do script in chat. i might write a lot but you don’t have to mirror the length, but some effort should be applied to the reply, of course. i am more than happy to do starters, especially if i have a good idea on how to start, but please don’t expect me to do it every time, especially if it doesn’t make sense for me to start.

Appearance Trivia
- Height: 161 cm (5’3″).
- Hair: Black, usually worn long and straight. Ties it out of the way in a ponytail or braids when practicing. Hates using accessories or product, unless it is gel to keep it out of the way. Doesn't like to maintain it, but also doesn't want to cut it.
- Eyes: Dark brown. Is near-sighted and wears contacts for it, has glasses but hates wearing them.
- Piercings: Both of her ears are pierced, with two in each lobe, and one in each snug. Has an orbital on her right ear.
- Tattoos: Likes to get a lot of tattoos, but is often barred from them due to her low salary.
- A barn owl on her shoulder.
- A Spear of Longinus along her forearm.
- The words "Some flowers bloom at night when everyone is asleep", something her mother used to say.

The Story
Part I
Chapter I
✦ Born to her mother, Kang Seoah, who was a soldier in the Gulf War. Seoah was heavily against the war after her involvement, and this caught Ares' eye, who had fallen in love with her and "got married" to her, eventually birthing Kang Seulgi in 1994.
✦ Seulgi never knew her father, since he left before she was born. Apparently he died while helping out the Rwandan conflict, and Seulgi believed that for most of her life.
✦ Seulgi and her mother lived in Coquitlam, Canada, but they moved around the country a lot due to her mother's army involvements. Her mother was vocal to Seulgi about being against war and the conflicts that arose from it, and Seulgi grew up agreeing with her.
✦ Seulgi's grandfather was a soldier in the Korean DMZ Conflict (also known to be the Second Korean War) in the 1960s before he passed away. Their family immigrated to Canada after that. Their family was quite well known in the Korean and Canadian military.

Seulgi always said it was because they were bullying her first, but the teachers never believed her. She was also seen as "lazy" since she rarely got much of her schoolwork done, and was hyperactive in class. The only subject she did well in was history.
✦ Seulgi stayed with her grandmother when she got older due to her mother not being able to handle taking care of her as she worked. However, when a monster attacked, they killed her grandmother, but Seulgi killed the monster. She ran away after that, and had become homeless for just over a year.
✦ Seulgi found Camp Half-Blood when she was 15. While this is considered late by many, Seulgi was able to hold off the monsters alongside others much like her. But when one of her friends was close to death, they had to make their trek to the Camp in hopes he could be saved.
✦ The friend died on the way there, but by that point, they finished their journey to the Camp, hoping for the impossible that never came of bringing back their friend.

The ABILITIES

All children of Ares have enhanced strength, agility, endurance, etc. They particularly favour strength. Seulgi is very strong, leading her to do well in sports as a kid and get into fights with sometimes boys much bigger than her.

All children of Ares have the power to control armour and weapons, as well as curse them to become useless. Seulgi uses this often to summon weapons into her hands (since she uses enhanced gauntlets and brawls), but seldom curses other weapons since she likes the pride that comes from a fair victory. She will sometimes use this during her history lessons when explaining different weapons, or during gym sessions as a teacher.

All Ares children have the ability to inflict fear, anger, and bloodlust in others. Only other Ares children and Athena children are immune to this. Seulgi often unintentionally did this in school when she would fight her classmates. She has since controlled this ability and only uses it to rile others up a little during fights at Camp, or her students during gym. She seldom uses it and is very careful about it.
combat prowess
All Ares children have the natural affinity to all types of combat and a knowledge of it. Seulgi is well-versed in historical wars and battles and will sometimes go off tangent in class when it comes to how the war was fought specifically through combat. She prefers older wars for their variety of weapons and close hand-to-hand combat rather than modern warfare.

All Ares children, when displaying an extreme amount of bloodlust or have shown a great amount of courage, will have a temporary invulnerability and enhanced physical prowess, and will have a red glow. Seulgi has only experienced this once when she was claimed.

All Ares children have the ability to communicate with and have control over vultures, pigs, dogs, and boars. Seulgi has a dog that stays with her mom when she's at camp named Napoleon, he is a rescue dog she found nearby the Camp.

She was prone to violence due to being an Ares child but was also impulsive because of the ADHD. History was one of the few things she was really interested in when it came to school, so it was the only subject she did well in.
