The world as we know it is gone, 50% of the land we know today is now under water.
Seoul is now artificially built up since it was one of the cities to be flooded when the sealevel rised.

 

2236, Namanmore was knocking on earths door.
Namanmore is an alien race that escaped their homeplanet because it was getting eaten by the sun.

 

The ship that took them to earth was expensive, so you either had to be rich and famous or you had to work on it.

 

Earth gave the Namanmore a home, in exchange for their knowledge and technology, Technology that the humans needed to get back on their feet after the tragedy of global warming.

 

The Namanmore is keeping a secret from the humans, a secret of their true shape.
