@Mark (/shot/ I'm even later. OML. How could I hate you D:)

Jay bit his lip lightly and looked out the window. Thoughts swirled in his head as he watched lights and buildings go by. It was nice to actually be out of his building for once. Even though that's where he felt more comfortable at, he liked to get out every now and then. He turned to Mark and gave a little laugh but then blushed as he realized it sounded a bit flirty. Jay didn't flirt. Or atleast he didn't think he did. "That's so interesting. As a child, I was a bit sheltered. So I didn't really get to do activities like that which is why I'm so into books. It was my way of being in the world but not having to, you know? Aline- Um.. My mother would have had a heart attack if I did anything like karate. I tried to get her to let me to soccor but she freaked. She was over pretective. I'm surprised she let me move as far as I did... I'm sorry I'm talking to much." His blush grew more as he settled back in his seat and just stared out the window. Had he told him to much? Would he ask about Jay calling his 'mother' by her name? He bit his lip nervously and glanced at Mark. Studying the male, Jongjin had to appreciate his style. And that hat. Which he really wanted. Jay made a note in his head to find one like it when he got back home. But Mark looked extremly attractive in it. A smile spread across his lips as he closed his eyes and breathed in the scent of the car. It smelled like Mark. Jay had already gotten attached which was bad thing to him. Clearing his throat to try and get rid of the thoughts in his head, he looked back at the male. "So, are you a native here or did you move here?"

@Jongjin [OMG so freaking late >< please don't hate me bby]

Mark continued with his role as the gentleman of the evening, opening the passenger door for Jongjin as he laughed aloud. He wasn’t laughing at the man, but he was, in fact, amused because he knew his own mother would have done the same for him if she had the chance– if she even knew where her son was. Mark didn’t even know if she still believed that he was still alive. Hell, Mark didn’t know if his family was still alive or not. For all he knew, the North Korean government could have had them killed. That would be the logical explanation for why he never found them, but Mark’s heart would never let him believe that he actual was completely alone in the world. Pretending as if thoughts like these weren’t even in his mind, he smiled softly when he got into his own seat, buckling and starting the car. “Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, pretty much I become a black belt in 10 different forms of martial arts when I was younger. I had a lot of advanced training,” he explained, keeping his answer simple and hoping Jongjin wouldn’t ask more so he wouldn’t have to lie about it

@Mark Jongjin frowned at his words. Late? Late for what? He hadn;t meant to make them late. This was his first time having to pick something special to wear. And he honestly had a time doing that. There a million diffrent things he could have worn in his closet. As the thought crossed his mind,Jongjin blushed insanly and looked down at his clothes. Was this okay for whatever Mark had planned? The chaos in his mind ceased when Mark took his hand. His mind went utterly blank. He blushed even more and then smiled, taking Marks had firmly as if to tell him it was okay. "Thank you. I want something simple. But my... Mother wouldn't let that happen. She had to go all out," he explained with a chuckle. Once the were in the store, Jay turned to lock the door to his apartment and then locked the door to the store when they stepped out. He turned to look at Mark's car, then at mark. "So, you do karate?"

@Jongjin [It's okay, sweetie!! ^^]

Mark stood up, his smile softly spreading onto his lips as he shook his head at the other man. "It's fine, Jay. I'm sure it takes time to look that damn y," he complimented, eyes trailing down Jongjin's body for a moment and taking everything in. He was observant to notice that the other had put on eyeliner, which did add to his iness, but Mark didn't think he needed it all that much. Chuckling quietly at the man's joke, he nodded. "Let's go before we're late," he said, knowing that there was nothing to be late to since what Mark had set up wasn't anything that was timed. He just wanted to make Jongjin wonder, so he took the other's hand hesitantly, as if asking if it was okay as he led him out of the apartment. "By the way, your apartment is really nice."

@Mark Jay rushed into the living with an apologetic smile. "I'm so sorry. I couldn't figure out anything to wear and then I couldn't find my boots and... Oh no! I forgot something," he cried and rushed into his bathroom and quickly, but professionally, applied some eyeliner. Looking at himself in the mirror, Jongjin decided he was finally presentable. Grabbing his leather jacket on the way out of the room, he smiled to himself. "I'm sorry for making you wait, Mark. I'd be late to my own funeral if that was possible. But I'm ready now. He slung his jacket over his shoulder and grabbed his keys. "Shall we go now?"

(Sorry for it being so short x.x)

@Jongjin Mark had showered and changed into a v-neck that accented his abs and jean shorts. He slipped a snapback onto his naturally messy hair and picked up his wallet, keys, and phone on the way out of the door. He usually walked despite having a car, but he figured that if he was going for romance with Jongjin, he should take his car. Then again, walking under the moon was romantic too, wasn't it? Shaking his head because he was unsure, he got into his car and drove over to the now familiar bookstore. He parked the car right in front since they'd be leaving in a few minutes at the most. Mark checked the text on his phone and went into the bookstore, looking around with puffed cheeks. He went to the back where the stairs were and looked up, walking up until he found the door to the apartment. Wondering if he should have knocked, he hesitantly opened the door and looked the living room. "Jongjin?" He called out softly before moving to sit on the purple furniture, his eyes flickering around in impression of the other's home.

@Mark Jongjin bounced with excitement as soon as Mark left the store. "Ooooh! I have to close the store early and take a shower and pick out something to wear," he said to himself while switching the sign on the door to closed and locking it while he ran up to his apartment. After taking a shower, Jay stood there in front of his closet staring at his clothes while wearing nothing but a towel. It was nearing the time for Mark to show up and he still didn't know what he wanted to wear. He jumped a little when his phone went off. "Oh no," he groaned, reading the message. Mark was on his way and Jongjin still wasn't dressed.Biting his lip, he darted down stairs and unlocked the store before going back up to his apartment. "The store door is unlocked. If I'm not down stairs, just come up to my apartment," he replied, biting his lip before going to stand back in front of his closet. Sighing, he just grabbed black skinny jeans and a form fitting tank top. Shrugging, he began to dress, not bothering with boxers or anything. No one would know anyways.

@Jongjin Taking his phone back, he smiled sweetly to Jongjin and slid off of the stool. “I’ll text you when I’m on the way, okay? It should be around 8 tonight,” he told him as he made his way out of the door, walking backward so he could continue looking at the cute smile on the man’s face. He almost told him how handsome he looked with a smile, but he decided to wait until tonight for his compliments because he didn’t want to overwhelm the other. He walked out after saying bye, slipping his phone into his pocket. He jogged the few feet to his own building, not wanting to be late for his next class– this time with teenagers. It was a long two hours of teaching flips, kicks, and punches correctly to teenagers who could barely stand still. And to think, at sixteen, he was already killing people. Sighing, he pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to Jongjin: ‘I’m just leaving and I’ll be there in an hour to come and get you! – Mark AKA your admirer.’

@Mark Jongjin's face heated as he took the other mans phone. A million different outcomes for this date went through his mind as he programmed his number into Mark's phone. For once since he moved to this town, he was actually getting out of his store and apartment and it wasn't for an essential thing. A smile tugged at the edges of his lips. He was going on a date! He couldn't believe it. His mind was in chaos with things. What would he wear? Should he put on some eyeliner? He had a customer tell him he looked good with it on. But he didn't know. "It's a date then," he said, handing Mark his phone back with a smile.

@Jongjin Mark broke into a bright grin, beaming softly at the man in front of him when he stood up and agreed to go with him. He was surprised to find that the man had never been on a date before. Jongjin was attractive, and he seemed nice enough, so he didn’t understand why no one else would try to be with the man. Maybe they were just as shy as he was, but Mark definitely wasn’t. He stood up and pulled his phone from his pocket, reaching out to hand it to Jongjin. “Put your number in,” he said with the same smile on his lips. “I have to go back and teach another class, but after I’ll go home and change. Then I’ll come pick you up, okay?” Mark decided that since this was Jongjin’s first date, he’d make it special. The romantic dinner, maybe a picnic, and bring him some chocolate or something. He’d figure it out all before the time came. “And yes, I was asking for a date.”
Jongjin 9 years ago
@Mark Jongjin stared in shock at the other male. Was he asking for a date? He stood up straight,curling his fingers in his shirt nervously. What should he say? No one had ever asked him out on a date before. Most people just left him alone. If they did feel anything towards him, they hid it. "Um... I've never went on a date before... I mean, if that's what your asking," said, finishing the sentence in a hurry. He gave Mark a shy smile and cleared his through. "I.. I'd love to go to dinner with you," he said quietly and hoped he wouldn't pass out from all the blushing he was doing.

@Jongjin Mark watched as the man in front of him became tense and nervous at the question, and he rubbed the back of his neck, wondering if he was making the man uncomfortable with his questions. He hadn’t meant to, but he was frankly curious. “I’m sorry for embarrassing you,” he spoke quietly, almost afraid of breaking the fragile man in front of him when a loud voice. He inhaled deeply before sighing softly. “I was just wondering because I wanted to ask you out for dinner or something. Only if you want to, I mean,” he said, now extra careful with his choice of words. What he was asking for was a date, but he wouldn’t scare the man away by saying the word aloud. Tilting his head slightly, he waited for the other’s answer, a soft smile on his lips.

@Mark Jongjin tensed a little as Mark pick up his book. He was very picky about this books. He held his breath as he watched Mark handle his book and read the description. He didn't breath again until his book was safely on the counter and in front of him. Jay relaxed against the counter only to stiffen again at his question. He blinked at the other male. Opened his mouth, closed it and repeated the process a few more times. "Um..." He looked around nervously and glanced back at him. "N-No..," he stuttered, keeping his hair covering his face. "I-I don't have a b-boyfriend," he mumbled, looking anywhere but at the man in front of him.
Mark 9 years ago
@Jongjin He glanced up as if the apartment upstairs was actually visible, nodding his understanding. “Ah,” he said thoughtfully, wondering how long the bookstore had been there before he found it a few days ago. Instead of asking, he reached over and picked up the book that Jongjin had been reading, making sure to keep his finger on the page that the other had left off at. He quickly read the title then the vague description on the inside cover. Humming, he put the book back down and glanced up at Jongjin again. “You have strange tastes in books,” he noted quietly before showing a bright smile to let him know that he was just joking with him. Mark put his elbow on the counter and set his chin in his hand, his eyes trailing down to the tattoo in interest. He wanted to see the rest of it, but he decided to ask that later as well. “Well, it’s a nice place you have here. Sorry, I’ve been kinda creeping. But I guess I’m also wondering if you have a boyfriend,” he admitted rather bluntly.
Jongjin 9 years ago
@Mark He nodded absently, leaning against the counter again. In this position, his shirt was pulled down, showing the dorner of his tattoo that was on his right shoulder. He kept his hair kinda tilted down, glancing at Mark every now and than. "I'ts nice to meet you, Mark," he said quietly. While he stood there, he looked over the little notes on the counter. Reminders to order books, or putting some books in the storage to the shelves. But he wasn't really reading them. At the question, he looked up, the blush still on his cheeks. "Yes, I work here alone. My apartment is right up stairs. So I own the store."
Mark 9 years ago
@Jongjin He is so damn cute, Mark thought to himself as he watched the man look down and blush. A light chuckle fell from his lips as he repeated the name softly, “Jongjin.” It rolled off his tongue nicely, and he smiled at it before introducing himself. “Well, Jongjin, I’m Mark.” Introducing himself as Mark instead of Yien had become much too easy for him after two years of lying, but at least he was used to the English name from his many years in America before being moved. Mark didn’t let his thoughts portray on his face as his sweet smile still played on his pinked lips. He them absentmindedly to keep them from going dry as he pulled the nearby stool behind him and took a seat. “Is this your place?” He asked, referring to the bookstore as a whole. Mark had never seen anyone else working there but Jongjin, so he assumed that he owned the place.

@Mark Jongjin's face face turned red with emarressment as the man confessed his secret of wanting to know his name. "I... Um... My name..." Jongjin stuttered nervously and looked around. He couldn't avoid this. So he just sighed and tilted his face down, glancing at the man in front of him from behind his hair. "My name is Jongjin," he muttered shyly, hoping the man heard him so he wouldn't have to repeat himself. As he thought about all the times the man had wondered into his store, the thought never occurred to him that he was interested in more than the books. The thought made him blush more and play with the end of his shirt.
Mark 9 years ago
@Jongjin He tried hiding the playful grin that wanted to creep onto his lips at the man’s question. Be good, Mark, he told himself silently as he gave the pleasant smile. “Actually… I’ve been lying to you these past couple of days,” He started slowly, letting out a quiet sigh. He figured the best way to cease his curiosity of the man in front of him was to actually talk to him. Otherwise, his interest would never be satisfied. Biting down on his lower lip for a moment, Mark chuckled softly and rubbed the nape of his neck. “Actually, the only reason I walked in that first day is because I saw you. I, um, I own the martial arts school a couple buildings down.” His gentle smile returned to his lips, and he added, “And I just really wanted to ask you what your name was. I guess I got intimidated because you’re so quiet, but I never needed those books I bought.” He laughed softly at his confession, still looking at the man for a reaction.

@Mark Jay glanced up from his book at the man that had been coming to his store for the past four days. It was kind of freaking him out. Jongjin glanced back down at the book he was reading and sighed before closing it. With the man in here, there was no way Jay could concentrate on the book. He propped his elbow on the counter and rested his chin on his hand. The man wasn't even near the martial arts section. His eyes widened slightly as the man walked up to him. Jongjin straightened from his postion and gave the man a shy smile. "Sure... What are you needing?"
Mark 9 years ago
@Jongjin Staring at the book shelf in front of him, Mark’s mind was on something completely different than science-fiction. His eyes flickered up to the man standing behind the front counter before looking back at the books perfectly arranged in front of him in alphabetical order. He slipped one from the shelf, his finger holding the place of where it was so he wouldn’t mix the order up in anyway. He realized after receiving a confused stare from the man behind the front counter that he’d asked where the martial arts books where, not the science-fiction. He put the book back in its correct spot, sighing softly. He’d been going into the bookstore for four days now, and he now had four martial arts book he didn’t need or want. The section itself was too far back, and Mark wouldn’t be able to see the man he’d been stealing glances at so carefully. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he walked up to the front counter, approaching the quiet man with a charming smile. “Do you think you could help me?” He asked, not needing any help but wanting to at least be able to speak to the man.
