Tʀᴀɪɴ Sᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ

He sits on a bench. Unsure of whether anyone from his gang knew where he was. He looked at the moon and sighed. "No one knows where I am...." He said. It was dark and spooky. The stars and moon shone brightly. He laid back at just looked at the sky.

@ⒷⓁBang Yongguk Daehyun's face burned with a reddish color as he watched Yongguk close the distance in between them. He breathed out in relief once the distance was once again widened, but his eyes never left Yongguk. Daehyun could tell that Yongguk was holding back from helping him. Kindness. That was definitely one thing that Yongguk couldn't tolerate with himself. Even so, the next thing that the leader said had most definitely shocked him. He understood that Yongguk was worried, but Yongguk sounded nearly broken from the nearly inaudible 'please' that had came from him.

God, now he felt so ing bad. He knew that Yongguk felt utterly sorry and worried for the others until the point it had hurt himself, and he felt bad because Daehyun couldn't fix his own problem. It was hard to sleep, especially if you had a horrifying case of insomnia like he did. "Yongguk..." Daehyun muttered under his breath, his dark grey eyes staring at him. "Don't beat yourself up for something that you can't fix. Every one can't fix everything and sometimes people need to heal themselves to feel better. Trust me, I'm trying my hardest myself and I'm becoming weak just like everyone else. I thank you so much for caring about me, but I think that it's time for me to start caring about you and not myself. I want you to also sleep because we both have been not getting any winks of sleep for the past month and I'm worried about you the most because you're our leader." Daehyun smiled widely, lightly placing a hand on Yongguk's arm. "Let's get some sleep together. Alright? Or...at least attempt." He couldn't help but chuckle at the truth. Honestly, it wasn't going to be easy for them to sleep, but at least they tried.

@ⒷJung Daehyun Yongguk was used to the slight pain that was necessary with his ability. He carefully watched Daehyun take his punishment. He didn't feel any satisfaction about it. Instead, he felt more restless. He slowly pulled back his ability to his body and manipulated his blood to clot. It was an easy feat since he'd been doing it for so long. Years battling had honed his ability and could do some things without conscious thought.

His lips turned to a frown. "I really wish I could do something for you." The leader truly cared for everyone but couldn't express himself. He closed their distance and reached for the cut he made. He was almost touching it but caught himself. Yongguk knew he shouldn't be doing this. He needed to be strong and being kind wouldn't do anyone good. He pulled his hand away and put it in his pocket. "Try to sleep.... please."

His voice was too soft at the end. The word 'please' almost went unheard.

@ⒷⓁBang Yongguk Daehyun's body froze from watching Yongguk split his skin open by his teeth to make his thumb bleed, knowing what he was going to do. He prayed that this wouldn't be a repeat of the last time. The last time Yongguk has done something like this, he was slashed about 10 times and they were deep cuts. Just as he thought, a whip that was formed out of blood laid in his hands. He gulped, closing his eyes tightly as he awaited for it to split his skin. Honestly, he was expecting pain, but it was nothing but a tiny little prick on his left cheek. Daehyun's eyes opened in shock as they moved towards the little cut that was close to his nose. "I..." Softly touching it, he looked at the blood before looking up to lock eyes with the leader.

Daehyun stayed silent, not wanting to ask if he had permission to heal since it seemed that it was most likely a no. It was silent for a few moments, a slight awkward air between the two males now. Deciding to break the silence, he lifted his head up to lock his eyes with the leaders once again. "A-As I said before...I apologize...I really just needed some time for myself...or at least a attempt to fall asleep like I've been trying for these past two months.."

@ⒷJung Daehyun Yongguk was surprised at Daehyun's fear. He almost forgot about that incident. Daehyun had put them all at risk at that time and as a leader, it was his responsibility to protect and punish. But the punishment got out of hand. He regretted for being that harsh. If he could apologize, he would but the others might see his apology as weakness.

"You're being more reckless Daehyun. I can't afford that. You'll never know when the enemy will strike. You have to think about the others. They need you. I need you. If you get hurt or worse, die, I don't think we'll be strong enough." He didn't want to do it but he kept reminding himself that as a leader, he had responsibilities with everyone no matter how much he didn't like it to be. Yongguk called forth his power. He bit on his thumb to draw blood and created a needle-like whip and slashed Daehyun's cheek just to draw blood. It wasn't deep but a reminder of sorts.
He didn't want to injure Daehyun like the last. From what he could remember from that time, he almost left the male black and blue from a beating. It was horrible and made him feel like a monster just like how he was trying to be today.

"Don't do it again. I don't know what will happen the next time this happens." He warned.

Eyes snapping open from the sudden voice, Daehyun immediately shot up from his position. Eyes scanning the area until he had locked onto a familiar figure in front of him. "Y-Yongguk?" Daehyun stuttered out in shock, his heart slightly racing as he started to think about the consequences from leaving the hideout in the middle of the night. "A-Ah...." Hoping off of the top of the train, Daehyun hesitantly walked over towards the leader, an actual glint of fear in his eyes. Out of all of the people that Daehyun could be scared of, it would be Yongguk. "I'm so sorry- I can explain my reason well, I p-promise."

Daehyun was quite worried about his own safety. Ever since the last punishment he recorded from disappearing for a few days, he's never been so afraid of this man in his life. "Please just let me explain Yongguk... I-I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to disturb anyone because of my sleeplessness so I just left. I promise I won't do it again unless I put down a note- I know. I...I just wasn't thinking straight." Daehyun looked at the male with sincerity in eyes so he could know that Daehyun was telling the truth.

@ⒷJung Daehyun Yongguk has always lead the group with worry whether the next battle would be his last or would there be a member whose smile or presence to disappear. Everyone was tired of it but they had no choice but to fight. It wouldn't be fair to just quit in the middle when they have fought for all those years.

That was why he respected everyone's privacy and worried for everyone. He owed them his life. Each fight, they protected and supported him. He wasn't the best leader but he was trying even now.

He couldn't sleep. Sleep was a luxury and they took it as often as they could. War had made it hard to feel relaxed. Yongguk sighed and tried to find a better position he could be comfortable with. But then, he heard footsteps. His body went rigid and alert at the possibility of danger, but later on recognized who it was. With years of being around each other, Yongguk knew it was Daehyun. He relaxed a bit but suddenly got worried.

Yongguk got off his bunk bed and stealthily followed Daehyun. He didn't have to be near as long as he could sense the male's blood, he could follow it. They ended up in an old train station weathered by war.

He walked quietly as possible and watched Daehyun get comfortable at the top of the train. The leader didn't want to intrude but Daehyun's attitude for the past days were concerning him. "Daehyun? Are you alright?" He softly asked, knowing that his voice could still be heard loud enough.

@ⒷⓁBang Yongguk Silence. That's all he wanted. Lately, his insomnia was getting worse, and because of that, he couldn't stay around voices or noise at that matter. It would make his head hurt so much that he would think that someone had hit it with a brick. So, his only solution was to leave the hideout with out a word. In which he did, now resting on top of a train with moss seeping out of the cracks from the metal.

He hoped that the others didn't mistake his actions as rude or harsh, he just wanted absolutely but silent bliss to rest his restless body. Daehyun sighed softly as he placed his hands behind his head, his eyes now looking at the sky that was barely seen through the ceiling other than the obvious openings that the light shown through.

"Ah..." He sounded softly, slowly closing his eyes to block the blinding light of the sun. Even that made his head beat in pain. One day of sleep, that's all the asked for, nothing more. Why couldn't he get that one wish? Hell, he couldn't even put a sleeping spell on his own body, he would always end up waking up about 10 minutes later. The others were so lucky. Being able to sleep their tired minds and bodies away while he stayed up and stared into the darkness. Why was something so simple as sleeping so hard for him?
