PHYSICAL THERAPY

@Byun Baekhyun Jongin watched the boy with eyebrows furrowed up and he felt guilty for even asking the question in the first place. Not knowing what to do, he stood up and cupped one side of the latter's cheek to rub a thumb under his eyes gently in attempt to wipe the tears. The intern hesitated for a while whether or not to give Baekhyun a friendly hug. But then he pulled the boy into his arms gently and patted his back, rubbing it to soothe him, trying his best to calm him down. Jongin kept quiet for a while as he did not want to ask any more wrong questions and make one feel uncomfortable. He should stop being straightforward and curious of everything.

@Byun Baekhyun Jongin just offered a smile as he figured out Baekhyun was the shy type and kept on reading the recent reports written on the clipboard. Hearing the boy speaking up, the intern looked up from the board and chuckled lightly. "I'm on training" he replied as he stood up to get a water bottle to pour some water into a glass and brings it back to the bed, placing it on the bedside table. He helped the boy up again and let him rest against the bed board. "You got a hiccup, Baekhyun-ssi" he said and held the glass up to hand over to the said boy "drink up holding your breath and it'll go away." He had to talk to the boy as if communicating with a young child since it was written on his portfolio of him being left alone with his father after the mother's death. Assuming Baekhyun might miss being taken care of, he tried his best to fulfill it in this short period of time. "Are you an only child?" he asked out of curiosity as it wasn't written on the sheet of paper of him having any siblings.

@Byun Baekhyun Jongin raised an eyebrow in confusion but then hummed softly assuming the young man might have been suffering from slight depression by the look of his state. He was about to leave him be to give some alone time when an elderly doctor rushed over to where they were with some nurses and scolded the boy for being outside. The intern stood up and did a formal bow at the doctor "I'm glad to be of help." The old man just nodded and left after wagging a warning finger at the young boy. Jongin bent down to his eye level and smiled, gently lifting the boy up by the waist. "Listen to your doctor well and you'll get to explore out again, okay?" he said in a soft tone not to surprise the patient too much just to soothe him from the scolds he just got. He leaded the boy back to his room by holding onto one of his hands and wrapped an arm around his waist for supporting. The nurses, probably responsible for the boy, walked close by them with one sliding the IV stand and another holding onto a clipboard for the patient's report. Reaching to the assigned room, Jongin helped the boy up the bed and pulled a blanket over to keep him warmer as he just came back from outside. "I'll be leaving now" he told the nurses as he straightened his coat "Take care of him well." Before even attempting to leave, he was stopped from doing so. "We actually have some errands to run so if you would have the time..." one of them spoke up. Not wanting to be rude, Jongin just nodded in understanding and the nurses left the room after thanking him. He turned to look at the boy again and sat at the chair beside the bed with the clipboard from the nurse in hand. "Byun Baekhyun, I see?" he tried to start a conversation, a smile still plastered on his face.

@Byun Baekhyun After getting an invitation call from his close friend, Jongin walked into the general hospital to meet up with him for lunch. Being an intern, he still had his uniform on on and could enter the lounges easily as he had the doctors' card given by his friend. He got to the place they were supposed to meet earlier than expected and decided to go down to the cafeteria to get the food ready. Taking the food bought back to the meeting place, he found a young looking man in a hospital gown sitting on the benches with his IV stand on the side. Approaching the young man, Jongin got on one knee infront of him and smiled up kindly. "Why are you out here, boy?" he started in a soft voice as the person seems as if a teenager "Do you want me to take you to your room? Your parents will be worried."
