the children of hades/pluto will reside here.

Jinri entered quietly in the cabin. All of this was new to her but this place drew her in like a moth to the flame. She knew that she belonged here. Her eyes scanned the entire room, wanting to know more of it. This will probably be her favorite sanctuary.

He followed Daehyun out, not knowing the camp layout very well.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun glanced back to the other. "Hm?" He raised his eyebrows lightly. "Yeah, Nyx likes apples." He watched as the other went back to his drawers. What was his brother doing?

He smiled as the other returned. "I see. Looks like you and Nyx have something in common then." He led the other out the cabin. "C'mon, let's get going."

((To the stables?))

@Jung Daehyun [R] "Apples?" asked Hongki. He kept walking before coming to a complete halt. "Oh! Wait a moment." He raced back to the drawer and made a beeline for his backpack. He took out an apple, slightly bruised but somewhat fresh and went out the door.

"I had one in my backpack. I like apples." He shrugged.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun nodded. "Yeah, let's go."
He waved the other towards the door again before swinging the mahogany wood open, the hinges creaking in protest. He wondered how Nyx would take to seeing the other, but then thought for a moment. She liked green apples.
"We should probably bring her some apples too..." He mused aloud to himself.

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki got off his bed, walking over to Daehyun. "Let's go, then?"

He observed the expression of his brother as he walked towards him, analyzing it. It was a strange expression, the likes of which he had never seen before. It was definitely a positive one, judging by how Daehyun was smiling.

He shrugged off his discomfort and slipped his red ball into his pocket.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun laughed a bit at the other's correct guess. "I guess so... and yup, she's black as night. That's why her name is Nyx." He smiled, thinking fondly of his companion.
"C'mon. The stables are close." He smiled, waving the other over towards the door. "She'll be happy to see I have someone who's company I enjoy along with me."

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki chuckled. "Is she a pegasus version of you? She doesn't seem to like greeks, accepts Pluto's children... Is she black colored too?"

Wow, it had been a long time since he was last trusted with something. He looked directly at Daehyun. "Can we go see her then?"

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun nodded. "Yeah. Nyx is different from all the other Pegasi here." He spoke assuredly. Nyx had appeared to him when he first arrived at Camp Jupiter, manifesting to him when he had been the lone Pluto child who no one would dare glance at.

She had walked up to him, not taken aback at all from his dark aura of death, and had nuzzled against him, seemingly comforting him from his loneliness. The black pegasi had been his first friend, and had even followed him when he moved to this camp.
He nodded again. "Yeah, she's not very fond of Greeks and isn't scared of kids of Pluto. I think she'd actually like you."

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki looked at Daehyun. "Can I?" He asked dubiously. No one ever trusted him with anything. The plants he tended to all died, and most animals would shy away from him. It reminded him of a clearer memory, one sharpened by pain.

He had sat in front of his house, watching as all the ants around him died, when a dog had started barreling towards him. He had been young at the time and it caught up to him very quickly, despite how fast he tried to run. The dog bit into his leg- he rubbed his right calf, the scars tingled- and everything went red.

The dog was dead. "Can I really meet her?" Hongki asked doubtfully

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun smiled and stood up, tossing the ball back to his drawer. "That's great." He thought maybe showing the other to Nyx would be nice, even if she wasn't able to communicate back with them.

"Yup. I actually have a Pegasi in the stables. Her name is Nyx." He smiled faintly. "You wanna meet her?"

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki's face brightened up. "Animals? I love animals." He remembered having a dog, though it was foggy and dream-like. He stared at the little red ball in his hands as if it would help him determine whether he actually had a pet dog or not.

Shaking his head clear, he looked up at the other guy. "Do you?"

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun nodded softly. They'd tried to put him on meds, but they couldn't force him. Too strong-willed. "Man, that ." He shook his head lightly at the fact. It really was sad that the other didn't remember much. If there was anything that DaeHyun had, it was his memories of things that had happened while he was growing.
DaeHyun tilted his head a little before speaking up again. "Hey, do you like animals?" He asked, wondering if he should introduce the other to Nyx.

@Jung Daehyun [R] "Yeah, I vaguely remember the beach. But that's really about it. I can't remember much due to the meds they put me on." Hongki commented, tilting his head.

It was sad to not be able to be sure of anything in his past. It was all a medicine induced fog and he detested it.

He detested humans. Most, at least. His brother was a good guy.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun nodded his head lightly, knowing what it was like to be unsure of your real wherabouts. "West Coast, huh?" He whistled lightly. "I heard it's pretty there." He tossed the navy blue ball up, snatching it from the air quickly and squeezing it in his own hands.
"I'm not so sure either. I grew up mostly in different foster homes in North Texas, so" He shrugged lightly. Being in a foster home since he was born, DaeHyun didn't know much about his own origins.

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki frowned, staying silent. To be quite honest, he wasn't sure. He was stuck in his cage of medicine and surveillance and eventually, he became numb to the outside world. They blurred his sight and he could not see what was going on. Could not see where he was.

He sighed. "I think I was from the west coast, but I'm not quite sure. How about you?" He threw his red ball up and caught it, admiring the way the red reflected onto his- somewhat- pale skin.

DaeHyun nodded along with the other, his eyes following the bloodred object as it went from his brother's hand and back. He'd always been an outcast, and couldn't agree more with Hongki's words.
He chuckled a bit. "Yep. I think it's kind of funny though." He shrugged a bit before reaching into his drawer again, pulling out another ball, this one a navy blue.
"Where are you from Hongki?" He asked, wondering about the other's origins.

Hongki nodded in agreement. "Pluto's kids are always outcasts." It was rather droll how all of Pluto's children stuck out like a sore thumb. he threw the ball up and caught it again.

"People are scared of death, and thereby, scared of us." No one ever approached him- causing him to turn to the dead for company. That was probably what screwed him over- talking to bitter dead people at a young age never really helped many people. He shrugged. "Let them be scared, I say."

He glanced over to the nicely made bed. "Yeah, I know. Most of the Greeks here aren't too fond of us Romans." The blond cracked a slight smile. "Yeah.. That's definitely a part of it. People are scared." He smiled, referring to when a few Greeks had backed away from him because of his dark aura.
DaeHyun wasn't used to being around people, but was definitely used to being an outcast. Running the streets taught lessons about being outcasted from any group.

"Not to be stereotypical but Greeks seem to really dislike us. I got more than a couple funny looks walking here- but it might be the fact that I'm a child of Pluto." He added a comment, more than amused at the Greek's expressions.

He used to find them offensive but now, he was used to them. Hongki couldn't tell if that was a bad thing. Sometimes you just had to have thick skin to survive such a cruel world.

@Lee Hongki [R] "No problem." DaeHyun smiled at the other, shrugging lightly before sitting down onto his bed. It was nice that the other was feeling less awkward now.

"Jinri?" He asked, not being able to hide the slight distaste in his voice as he referred to the Greek girl he'd met earlier. "She doesn't like Romans. And she seems pretty closed minded." He started, rolling his shoulders to pop the joints lightly.

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki caught the ball, slightly stunned. He opened his palm, revealing the crimson ball. He looked back up at Daehyun, seeing the guy in a new light. "Thanks!" He grinned up at him, the rubber ball soothing his aching hands.

"How's the girl?" He nodded towards the other bed.

So maybe there was some truth to the whole sibling bond everyone kept rambling on about. He rolled the ball around in his palm, happy to have something to do.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun paused in his miniature game, holding the ball as he looked to Hongki bemusedly. How peculiar.. "That's weird. We're the same age...." He mused aloud, more to himself than the other.
Hongki's antsy-ness didn't go undetected by DaeHyun, who caught the ball once more before looking at it interestedly.
"Here," He chuckled and tossed the ball to the other. "It helps having something to do, and I find tossing balls into the air to help with that." He wasn't sure why he was doing that. Maybe trying to set off on the right foot with Hongki?

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki's eyes tracked the small ball's motion through the air, staying silent for a bit. So, Daehyun was the same age as him, with the exact same years as him. Strange.

"I'm Lee Hongki, 17, first year here and one year previous at Jupiter. Looks like we have a bit in common." How creepy was it that he met someone who was -almost- exactly the same as himself?

His hands trembled as he continued his tapping on his legs. Watching someone with something to do made him even more antsy.

@Lee Hongki [R] DaeHyun took out what he was looking for and closed his drawer, holding the blood-red item in his hand. It was a rubber ball. He tossed it a few times up into the air before snatching it back into his palm as he waited for the other to finish putting away his belongings.

He played with the ball a little bit before looking up as his sibling finished putting away his stuff. "I suppose so. We can't be complete strangers." He shrugged before meeting eyes with the other. "I'm Jung DaeHyun, 17 and a second year camper. First year at this place though." He briefly introduced himself. "You?" He asked, tossing the bloodred object into the air once more.

@Jung Daehyun [R] Hongki nodded, getting off of his bed and walking towards the drawers, backpack in tow. He pulled out the drawer, before taking clothes out of his bag. As he folded them neatly, he absorbed what his brother had said. They had a greek sister, who- according to the boy- was rather abrasive.

Finally finishing his task of putting away his clothes, he pushed the drawer closed and walked back to his bed, hanging his backpack up on the way. He sat on the bed, not sure what to do. He sighed through his nose, "Well, we're brothers and we're going to be living together. We might as well get to know each other."

He tapped his legs with his fingers, his hands feeling achingly empty.

writing sample — When Naeun reached 16, a goat-man visited her when her parents and older brother were all out, at their company. Then, the goat-man explained to her why she could read ancient greek. Naeun refused to believe the goat-man at first. The goat-man offered her a place at Camp Half-Blood and that if she ever changed her mind, all she had to do was go to the dark alleyway where she fought the manticore on a bright sunny afternoon. The next day, Naeun thought about his offer and she decided to go to that camp of his. After all, she knew she didn't belong with the regular humans ever since she was young. The goat-man smiled knowingly when he found her at the dark alleyway the following day. He brought her to a camp. The moment she stepped on camp grounds, a symbol was seen floating above her head. "All hail Son Naeun, daughter of lord Hades, god of the underworld." A centaur said. Oh yes, the symbol seen was the helm of darkness.

writing sample — At fourteen years old, Sehun had to leave his home due to how poor his foster parents were getting. The woman who he thought was his mother brought him to a camp, telling him that it would be a good thing if he stayed there, that people would understand him and that it was the best place for him to be at. He didn't really know what this camp was all about, but he knew one thing for sure. Sehun knew that his real father wasn't a normal human, no, he was a God. Even if he had never met him, he still kept hoping one day, maybe, it would happen.

Writing Sample: DaeHyun narrowed his eyes, wondering why he'd been chosen to be sent to this camp. Perhaps it was yet another laugh of fate at him, and by the Gods, he knew they loved messing with him. He hitched his bag up on his shoulder before boldly making his way towards what he expected to be an empty dorm. It being a child of Pluto, most people tended to be afraid of him and stayed away, which made making friends really hard. He blew his blonde bangs upwards before settling his bag down onto the cabin bunk. This would be an interesting time...
