@kim taeyeon It was past the afternoon and into the evening, and she should have really gone home to get started on her overdue piles of research papers that she had to read and mark, but Jessica knew she couldn't go home and even begin to concentrate on her work, until she sorted out the revolving first week back-to-school nerves that she was suffering from. Having gotten her doctorate's degree only recently, this was Jessica's first job and first ever time teaching as professor. If her colleagues were here with her, they would for sure assure that she was already a great professor and that she possessed more than enough qualities and credentials to be one, but being someone who drove towards absolute perfection, Jessica often beat herself down mentally, if things skewed too far from how she had planned things. Sighing again, she was questioning herself why on Earth she had stuttered quite a bit during the first half of her morning lecture today, when she heard the echoing sounds of hurrying footsteps coming from behind the door to the rooftop. Jessica turned towards the noise, seeing if anyone was going to emerge from the door.

@kim taeyeon Looking upon the scenery of the university campus down below, Jessica stood on the rooftop, exhaling out a deep sigh. This was the little haven of a place on campus that she came to, often coming here to calm her mind and sort out her thoughts. Personally, just seeing everything from a higher point of elevation in the bird's eyes point of view gave her some kind of placebo effect, allowing Jessica to see and reflect on her own thoughts in a different light, time and again. The rooftop was also quiet and empty; nothing but the breezing wind that blew and whistled from time to time to be heard by her ears. Occasionally, there would be instances in which she would come up and see a person or two smoking a cigarette, but those people too seem to appreciate the tranquil trait of the rooftop and would be pretty quiet or talk in low volumes themselves.
