@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁸jiyong k. The younger could feel his smile falter for a moment at the mention of friends. He was low on any sort of acquaintances ever since he moved away from his hometown which was strange considering how easily he could get along with people. Yes, it was easy for him to start up a conversation but it was difficult to find people he could be a hundred percent himself around comfortably as well. That being said, Jaewon didn't consider a lot of the people he casually mingled with as 'friends' but he did have a few. "Well, most of my friends don't live around here. Besides, you're too cool to be around those squares anyway." He chuckled, running a hand through his hair to get it somewhat straightened out after Jiyong went in and ruffled his dark locks into a mess atop his head.

"Besides the occasional get together of the photography class I'm in, no I am not in any school clubs. It feels kind of suffocating being around so many smart people all the time. The only thing I feel like I excel at is photography. Everything else seems so hard and difficult, I don't like looking like I don't know what I am doing. Which I guess holds me back from learning anything new and trying so.." He rambled on, face slowly contorting into a frown as he continued on with his speech. Once his words had trailed off, Jaewon shook his head to clear his mind and resumed his trademark grin on his face.

"As for keeping me here late, I really don't mind it at all. I like the night shifts the best. I think I would die if I worked the day shifts. It seems so busy and hectic.. Night is much more calm and mellow, just my style." Looking out the window, the boy crossed his arms over his chest and sighed out dreamily as he let his thoughts wander for a moment or two before turning his attention back over to the older male beside him. "What about you then? Were you in any clubs back in school? Why don't you bring an of your friends here?"

@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jaewon j. Nodding his head, he processed the information, storing it in his memories. Pursing his lips he d his chin thoughtfully. Like he was caressing the stubble he didn't have. He tried, he really did. Sometimes his baby face was a curse... Realizing his mind began to wander and he left the younger awaiting his response, he grinned bashfully before sitting back in his chair.

"Hey now, the word stalker is a bit harsh. Don't you think? I just wouldn't want to keep you up all night, after all." He snickered with a wink. School is important after all. It had been quite some time since he graduated. So much had happened during those transitioning years. Now, he was at a period in his life where he could live fairly comfortably with little drama. Though, with the growing popularity of his side job and companies wanting to sponsor his name, his quiet lifestyle may not last much longer.

Chewing his lip, he deciding to speak more. "All jokes aside, I guess you could say that you interest me. I want to know more about you. What your interest are. Are you in any clubs in school? Do you have lots of friends? If you do why don't you bring them to the shop, you little ." Standing he reached over the table to playfully ruffle Jaewon's hair before plopping back down in his chair.

@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁸jiyong k. Peering over his shoulder, Jaewon watched the two girls become flustered by Jiyong's gesture. He had thought it was a little funny. No matter how much he had told his coworkers that the man wasn't mean or as stern as they all thought, they always acted the same way. Oh well, it made for a good chuckle every now and then but he did also wonder ho it made Jiyong feel knowing that was how some of his employees viewed him.

"Not tomorrow. I had classes today, won't have them tomorrow but then the following day I will and so on." He explained, using his hands as a visual by moving one over the other with each day he was identifying as a school day and an off day. He liked his schedule. Seeing as though he had signed up for morning classes and worked the night shifts, usually a good bulk of the day was free for him to fill up with anything he wanted to get into. That was the best thing for a kid like him. Sleep off all the mistakes and trouble he got into and be good to go by the time he had classes or work.

His eyes moved back up to look at Jiyong's own, a hint of playfulness in them as he spoke up again. "Why do you ask? You already have the fact I'm not going to work so you also want to know about school? I'd say you're a stalker." The younger teased, chuckling a bit as he looked down at his hands.

"No, but really. Why do you ask? This is the first time you've ever asked about school. Why the sudden interest in my education, boss?" Jaewon questioned once his little fit of laughter had died down, a small smile settling instead as he looked at the man curiously.

@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jaewon j. He rolled his eyes in response. In good humor, of course. Peering over Jaewon's shoulder, he could see the other two employees on the shift with them talking amongst themselves. They were looking curiously at the two of them. Making eye contact, his smile turned downwards, his eye brows raising as he pointed sternly at them. They flinched and began to busy themselves with something or another. It was cute.

Both were young women in their early twenties. He liked to tease them. Though his humor seemed to come off far more intimidating to them than he intended. Or at least that's how it appeared. He felt he was pretty down to earth, so he always wondered why people were so intimidated. Was he scary looking? Well, he knew he was a pretty boy, but not scary, right?

Pursing his lips outwards in a pout, he blinked and turned his gaze back to Jaewon.

"Actually, I don't." He hummed with a shrug of his shoulders. "I mean, I used to. But ever since it was taken from me I never got around to getting another car... I usually walk or take the bus. If it's late... maybe a taxi?"

Then again, he usually left after the rest of his employees, so perhaps it did seem like he'd have the luxury of a car. He didn't really miss driving all that much. Not that he was bad at it, but it kind of bored him. He'd often get sleepy at the wheel which almost landed him in an accident once. He was scared to drive ever since.

"You don't have classes or anything tomorrow do you?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "I know you don't work tomorrow."

He makes the schedule, after all.

@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁸jiyong k. Jaewon was slightly anxious as to how Jiyong would react. Some people didn't find the terms 'interesting' and 'mysterious' as good terms to be described as. The boy was glad to see that Jiyong seemed to like the compliments. That was the only way he could figure was the best way to describe the other with how little he knew about the man and he certainly didn't mean it in a bad way.

"Well if it's the quiet ones I should be looking out for, I should keep my eyes on you." He replied with a of his brow, smile set on his face as he joked with the male. He watched the man laugh, finding his smile growing broader with the softness to the tone of Jiyong's laughter. Jaewon had heard it was really hard to crack through his boss' serious and professional exterior but he was proving that it wasn't that hard if effort to honestly and genuinely get to know the man was put in. He did really enjoy his talks with the man, no matter how brief they were. Not many coworkers claimed to hear the sound of laughter come from their employer so Jaewon felt a sort of honor to be one of the few that did.

"As long as you don't leave teeth mark scars, I don't mind." He chuckled softly, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. The cafe had gone relatively quiet, apart from the few employees who chatted away in a few different locations. The place was cleaned, ship-shape and ready to close in the next hour or so. They all seemed to be waiting for the time they would be free to leave and go home but not Jaewon. He could be here all night enjoying the aroma of coffee beans along with the still quietness of the usually busy city streets. Times like this, if he was sitting alone he would pull his phone out and take a few pictures of his surroundings just for the hell of it. His head turned to Jiyong and a smile creeped onto his face.

"Maybe you and I can go back to the complex together. I mean, I doubt you walk back, you probably have a car." He muttered, amused at himself. "But if you ever wanted to walk together, it's a really nice walk back. Very relaxing and the city looks beautiful. I highly recommend it at least once."

@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jaewon j. // The coffeehouse is here~

A glint of humor flashed in his eyes. It always lifted his spirits when they had these little playful banters. It eradicated any tension, if there was any, and it made the night fun. After a moment of laughter between the two, a silence settled over them. He eyed Jaewon's every move. His response was a determining factor after all. The grin made Jiyong straighten up, his ears perking with interest as the other spoke.

"Mysterious, huh?" he scoffed, covering his mouth as he eyed the other with interest. That was new. He was used to being called cute, sly, flirtatious, and sometimes a loser. Okay, he was called a loser a lot. But mysterious was new. He liked it. It gave him a little bit of a confidence boost, if you will. "You know, Jae," He started, looking to the side mischievously as he leaned forward. His voice lowered to a whisper. "It's the quiet ones you should really look out for."

Grinning wickedly, he fell back into his chair, clutching his stomach before breaking out into a fit of laughter. Wiping away the tears that had formed in his eyes, he relaxed. "All jokes aside, that's really flattering, Jae." His features softened, and he gazed at Jaewon fondly. "If you ever want or need to ask me anything, feel free to. I don't bite," he looked around dramatically as if to make sure no one was listening. "Hard."

All his worries seemed to be temporarily lifted. Two, maybe three, weeks was certainly not long enough to get to know someone fully. It just wasn't possible. But from this short period of time, Jiyong could tell that he liked Jaewon. They got along. The kid had a good personality and he was creative and he knew Jaewon would be going places. It was always refreshing to work with Jaewon, it really was.
