@♔ syphen kuran yue sighed softly as they pressed their plush lips gently against syphen's soft skin, and they looked at the painting with a hum. it was gruesome and gory, the blood looking as though it was /real/, and yue couldn't help but look at it with heart eyes as their arms tightened just slightly around syphen's thin waist.
art was something the two purebloods had in common, and it was something that had brought life into syphen's eyes. the way he spoke about his art...it was something yue cherished, and they would never let it go.
"it's beautiful, sy." yue's voice was light and airy as they loosened their hold on syphen's waist, letting the other move to the side so they could take in the full view of the painting. the eyes of the figure were staring into yue's soul, and a shiver went through their body before they turned to look up at syphen with a growing smile. "your muse is back, i see."
Art. A distinct medium that Syphen expressed the most in his life. He cherished art. Because it was one of the main reasons he can deal with an eternal life. If he had the choice to just sit and paint for the rest of his time, he would.
But sadly, some good things do come to end. Syphen's block on all things to keep him sane started without warning, and it had lead him into a dark depression over the months. Thankfully he had someone to help him climb from such deep depths. And someone that sparked his dimming flame for the arts.
His inspiration if you will.
His very inspiration for this painting he were working on. There were no classes for a few days, so he took advantage of his free time to create after months of not doing so.
His painting was a gruesome one. A hand piercing through the chest of their beloved, heart resting in their blood hands as the eyes of their lover stared directly into Syphen; filled with love and the dwindle of life disappearing from their beautiful eyes. The type of art he enjoyed.
Art always looked even more beautiful with just a little blood.
His attention has risen from the sudden familiar scent, a lone smile rising on his lips. Perfect timing.
"Yue..." Syphen called out in a low tone, tilting his head just enough for them to have as much access as they could. "I was just thinking about you." He chuckled, raising up his free hand to gently caress their head, slender fingers gliding through the soft locks of hair. "Thanks to you, my muse has come back to me. Have a look." He then gestured towards his piece, moving slightly so Yue could see. Nearly finished. He were sure that with a few hours added, it could be finished.
yue ran a hand through their shaggy hair as they approached the classroom, taking advantage of the way there were no classes to wear whatever they wanted. they sighed softly when they made it to the doorway and spotted syphen focused on a new painting, and they smiled to themselves before stepping into the classroom.
“i see that you’ve made yourself at home here…and didn’t invite me. a shame, really.” yue’s voice rang clear as they pushed the classroom door shut behind them, and they stalked forward towards syphen’s back. they wrapped two tanned arms around the other vampire’s waist before resting their chin on syphen’s shoulder, and they rubbed their nose against his neck with a soft hum.
